OOC: Seriously, we should just remove the novels at this point since everyone wants to keep bringing them up and they are not canon as Nomura did not do them and some points are just counterproductive to the actual game information.
This is an opinion off something non-canon and really we keep bringing up these things and it's totally irrelevant. In the actual game, Sora doesn't think he's bizarre for no reason. It shows Demyx acting through the emotions in the first scene and the second scene. Also, the Phil scenario is obviously not canon either if it happened different from the games. Anything that happens different from the games should be excluded because it is tampering with 'evidence' and is not official. The only reason I think the novels should be used at all is to fill in little character opinion details that aren't expressed in the game. i.e. Namine's opinion that Riku was using her is her opinion in the novel, and it can be used because it's solely an opinion; not a fact necessarily and it would be her word versus Riku's in the end.

Sora frowned. He had thought he had expressed his thoughts pretty well and clearly as he could. He really just had no idea what to even respond with at the time but would try. "Demyx acted the same way he did the first time pretty much which was changing his expression of emotion. He would act afraid, and then defensive and then counter with something accusing and stuff. I said he did the stuff the first time with the behavior and we did not want to be caught off guard again by it because the first time we talked we did not draw weapons on him at all until he summoned his water beings."

He sighed now because she obviously did not listen to what he had said and pretty much had again said the whole conversation. "I had a chance to walk away and so did Demyx. I said we both could have left and he even started to run away but then turned around and said I was a traitor and we fought. I already said the stuff I said and Donald and Goofy did. Maybe he got annoyed at the saying the Nobodies had no Heart thing. I'm not Demyx so I don't know. I also thought I said why I didn't walk away. The Organization were there and so were the Heartless and Maleficent and I certainly was -not- going to run off and leave Hollow Bastion undefended when both the Nobodies and the Heartless were attacking me and my friends even before we got to Demyx. I was tired of them playing games with me. He could have left. He started to. I had a reason to stay and wasn't going to run away when people were in clear danger and I had to press on. And uh...having another conversation? About what? The fine weather they were having in Hollow Bastion as Nobodies and Heartless were destroying everything?"

Now Sora was starting to get kind of annoyed because he had again, already said this. "He appeared doing that Dark Portal entrance thing and said we were looking lively. Donald told him to scram. I said something about didn't we catch him messing around in the Underworld and how'd a wimp like him get into Organization XIII any way. Demyx did this little dance acting afraid. I said 'I bet you can't even fight' since last time he sent water creatures at us and didn't do anything else and we had to fight them in a set amount of time or go out cold. Donald said 'But we can!' and that's when he said the line of you shouldn't judge anyone by appearance."

He then shrugged. "The second time we were more defensive as well as offensive because as I said, we were trying to help others and were attacked by both Nobodies and Heartless and then he shows up out of the blue. Really, I'm not sure what you are fishing for here. We'd have put our weapons away if Demyx actually ran off like he started to and we would have continued on dealing with the threat at Hollow Bastion. "

Sora sighed. What happened did occur whether she wanted to dance around the topic and get technical or not. "Yes, if the card is to be taken into account he had a direct order to attack me if I didn't respond properly. That's just the way it was. Also, he was supposed to liberate my true disposition by love taps? Jeez."

"The FIRST fight, I did not ever say he intended to kill me, which is where he had the note in the first place. The second fight was not the same and was much more dangerous. He was tossing around attacks like crazy and was very near to killing me, ok? I gave him what he gave me which was the fight of my life. I don't think Demyx should be charged for fighting me that time and said so. It doesn't mean though the fight was not deadly but we both did it and that's how it is. He could have run away and no one was holding him from doing so other than maybe his orders from the Organization and honestly, that's not my problem since he never asked for help. I can't know what he's going through if he doesn't say."

This question gets asked a lot and there is a thread in the 358/2 Days section debating it currently so I am going to close this one since Roxas is not even in the first Kingdom Hearts game.

Castle Oblivion was not in KH2. The castle in KH2 never seems to be given a name. We just know it's in TWTNW. I sometimes just call it the 'Castle Naught' when referring to it, but have no idea what the name of it actually is. Castle Oblivion was not in TWTNW. Also, it would seem that both castles had the ability to be shifted to look like what Xemnas desired them to.

It was kind of mean to do but I think we were supposed to get the point that she was beginning to get worried about Riku, even though she didn't do anything about it other than suggest running away on the raft he built with Sora. So, it was poorly executed.

This doesn't make much sense so I am going to go ahead and close this. Any complaints with that, feel free to PM me. Sora does not have Kairi's Heart after KH where he returned it to her body. If he lost his own Heart, Roxas would probably return...but it would not do a thing to Kairi.

Sadly, no, it wasn't a joke. She meant it and said Riku had changed. Sora said that Kairi was the one who was changing and she retracted the statement and backed off it. I think she was getting somewhat worried and all but she really did the Mary Sue thing there and did not talk to Riku, tell Sora her worries or anything. She just made the suggestion to run off without Riku on the raft HE made and then pulled back saying Sora was right.

Really, though all of those options are just plain nifty and I'd have wanted them, the biggest thing I'd have wanted to be released in KH2 that was in KH2:FM were the cutscenes so we'd have a whole story. The extra battles and such would have been nice, as well as Limit Form, but really, we got jipped on the actual storyline and so that's what I'd have wanted above the other things. The 2nd most wanted thing would have been a special package of KH2 with RE:CoM in it that could have costed another 20 bucks or something because I'd have bought it in a heartbeat.

I fail to see how they would have lost money putting out KH:FM+ with RE:CoM because practically everyone I talk to in here or other places on line or in RL wanted the game. Even if they had just put it up on the SE site for people to buy and would ship it, they could have made a killing if they didn't want to bother with distributors and take the risk that way. Also, I think CoM would have done really well considering that many people didn't get the GBA version because it looked lame. Having this new updated fresh version to play on a home console made the game look like a whole new game really and it's more entertaining. I was pretty eager to see it come out in English.

However, even though I wish the game would have come out in the U.S. and other countries because I think it would have done well and I'd rather watch and play the games than just see cut scenes and dream or have to go out of my way and buy swap magic etc to play it...I am not going to call SE selfish for keeping a game in their own country. There are games made that are only distributed to single countries mostly due to the necessity of translating the stuff and note that they left a lot of the KH2 game with a lot of the English voices, probably to let the Japanese people hear them. If only we knew Japanese as well as they know English, huh? It's their right to keep the game and distribute it as they want and though it is a disappointment for those of us who really would have liked it, we have some options we can use and should be grateful we have them. It's kind of time for us to just let it go. I really think Nomura ought to just have given us all the KH2:FM extras in KH2 and as a bonus tossed in RE:CoM in some bonus package thing when KH2 was first released but ah well, he seems to be on this kick anymore. KH:FM wasn't really that great but this had quite a bit of info not included in KH2 and it should have been there. Any way, we can beat a dead horse to oblivion and it doesn't matter. Also, it's not the 'Japanese' are selfish, so I see why a couple people are getting offended by that. It is a Square Enix decision and it's a gaming corporation. We should blame the right people if we are going to get hostile. :)

I've actually been thinking that for a while the 14th member is most likely Aqua since she's the only female that has mystery surrounding her that makes sense. It can't be Namine, as she was never in the Organization and was just held as a prisoner basically, so unless it is some brand new female, it would seem the member would have to be Aqua's Nobody. Nothing else makes sense to me with who has already been seen. Also, her skin is hidden under the hood etc so I am not convinced that her skin is darker than Aqua's and also even if it were, Nobodies do have mild differences from their Somebodies. Look at how Namine seems more pale than Kairi and is also blond. Right now I have to place odds on it being Aqua because of the 'old friend' line and she's the only female we know of that would fit. So unless Nomura is intro'ing a new female, she's the one.

We have no clue when KH3 will come out though I am pretty sure it will. However, since we have no idea and this is a 'when will it come out thread' I am going to close it. When we actually start getting information on KH3, then we can go ahead and post away our guesses. Right now, we can take guesses from 2010 to 2012 and who knows?

Terra - hmm...could be Xehanort/Xemnas but I am unsure as Xehanort/Xemnas could also have been the apprentice of Master Xehanort. So Terra's whereabouts are a mystery. We could always say his spirit was the enigmatic soldier in KH2:FM but Nomura seems to have said it was a tossed in fight and did not seem to really have anything planned with it. So it could be semi-non canon at this point.

Ven - I'm pretty sure Ven was somehow injured and a part of his heart or something was merged with Sora since it has a scene in BBS that shows Terra holding Ven and asking what Master Xehanort did with his Heart. Also, Ven and Roxas look exactly alike so I'm sure there's a deep connection there between the two. Nomura of course won't come out and say what it is, but he does say there's a relation to them.

Aqua - We see her armor and Keyblade as others have mentioned. I have pondered that something obviously happened to her too and perhaps she may be the 14th Organization member that obviously went missing in the time of KH2. Maybe though 358/2 Days will expose who the 14th member is since I'm nearly 95% sure it isn't Namine, who never seemed to actually BE an Org member, but instead was held captive by them to use. The 14th member may be someone new, but I just have a hunch it will turn out to be Aqua's Nobody possibly.

It is fun to theorize about these things but sadly I think we're just going to have to wait for the answers from the actual games.

Yeah, clawtooth, they could make a new vaccine for the new mutated virus. But while the virus is new and mutated our defenses won't be there whether we had vaccines or not against the former virus. So I was just pointing out if small pox did mutate and someone used it as a bio-weapon I think we're all boned until someone makes a vaccine for it whether people were inoculated against small pox to begin with or not because the virus is no longer just small pox. So natural immunity to small pox would no longer hold true for vaccinated people or those who weren't. So...we either make a vaccine to save people's lives and build antibodies against the new virus -or- we do what is being suggested by some here and let natural selection wipe people out who don't have any defense and -hope- that a few people will survive with the defense naturally. Vaccines help more people through the process to survive and as said, defenses that mothers have can and does get transferred through genetics and milk. So I'm not really seeing the issue here why vaccines themselves are bad because you are in fact getting antibodies built up against a specific thing. In a way I think we're agreeing on the same thing though somewhere I may have been confusing.

The avian flu is still out there and being watched but most cases happen in non-Euro and American spots so we aren't hearing about it as much as we should. I guess the news got bored of reporting something that hasn't spread as fast as it was feared in the beginning. I do go to some spots on the web to read up and see what it is doing but the news has gone a lot quieter on it because it's just not 'interesting' anymore probably. Gotta love the news.

OOC: The text there is exactly what happened and is canon. The novel is not canon and should not count at all in this regard as it differs from what was told in the video game. Let's please just go by the video game because the novel is great but at points it does differ and this is one so the game itself should always be held as canon instead when there's a difference.

As for the scene in question, Hercules himself is the one who went to go get the Olympus Stone from the gods but was told that it was a guy in a black cloak with 'white beings' accompanying him which of course are Nobodies. Phil ran off after Hercules came back to go find someone to possibly replace Herc seeing as Herc was tired, while Sora and Herc were talking about the stone. After, Sora decided to go back to the Underworld because he had his promise to keep to Meg and that's when they found Phil at the entrance to the Underworld, on the ground. I pretty much had Sora's testimony just based off the video game itself to keep it straight forward. I will go ahead and fill in the 'words' of the text a bit more to describe the scene from the game if that helps. So in the end:

Sora finds out about the stone from Herc. Herc runs off to the gods to go get it to help Sora out in dealing with Hades though he doesn't know Sora's exact intent since Sora can't really tell him. The reason why is because Sora made a deal with Meg to go talk to Hades to give Herc a break since he was worn out.

Sora trains with Phil while Herc is gone, smashing pots and stuff.

Herc comes back, Phil runs off to go try to find someone to replace Herc but doesn't really say that's what he's up to.

Herc tells Sora that the stone was stolen and all that is known is some guy in a cloak took it and had white beings as accomplices. I would assume that the gods actually told Herc that this was all they knew at the time. Sora asks then if he can use the stone if he finds it and Herc agrees to that.

Sora decides to try to head to the Underworld because it makes sense that the person would head there since he stole the Olympus Stone and also Sora has to keep his deal with Meg. Sora and company find Phil on the ground at the entrance to the Underworld. Phil says he saw a black cloaked guy who he was trying to possibly get to replace Herc but gets turned on and hit, then the Nobodies conk him out cold or something so he's found by the others and says he was 'seeing stars'. It's then that Phil finds out from the others that Demyx stole the stone.

I hope that works to clarify it because that's what the game itself is declaring and I think the novel should be discounted here. Nomura didn't write the novel and the author obviously took some liberties here that shouldn't have been done. Does it all make sense? The novel is good in a way to fill in some personality etc but I don't think it should be canon when it comes into conflict with the actual game itself since the author is not Nomura himself.
