Evan had awoken in some awkward position on the floor...that's strange. He was pretty sure this wasn't his floor. Opening his eyes he looked around and saw that everything in this house was a lot different then Evan had remembered. Heck this place was much bigger than he ever remembered it being. Looking around some more he saw that Professor, Boss Man, and Cherry Red were all pretty much knocked the fuck out. Evan then realized that he was indeed not in his own apartment and that this was actually the Professor's place. Man that was one fun time they all had last night. Evan tried to recall why he had decided to sleep on the floor but he couldn't even ever remember going to sleep. Maybe he got so drunk that he just passed out. Oh well. While he didn't really feel or care about the most definitely splitting headache that should occur from the amount he drank, he still felt rather sluggish. It took him a while to pick himself off the ground, but through sheer tyranny of will, he was able to do it. Shakily standing on his feet, Evan realized that he was really thirsty. Like super much so. Man he needed a drink, and one that wasn't rainbow colored and tasted like it came from the heavens. With that in mind he started walking his way slowly but surely to Professor's kitchen. When he got their he opened up a cabinet and pulled out a glass. Going to the sink he started to fill it with water and almost immediately drank it. Man that felt good. So good he downed about seven more glasses of water before he realized that the bathroom was probably the only place for him at this point. After taking care of his bathroom business he walked back to the place where everyone had passed out in, and just sort of collapsed there. He was still conscious as he lied on the ground. At this point he was just waiting on the ground for someone else to get up. He didn't want to leave without a proper goodbye for such a stellar night, and he certainly didn't want to leave yet in his pretty shit state. Oh well. For now he would just stay on the ground and wait. Man Mr. Menon had a nice fucking floor.
DAY 36 Sunday, October 27th, 2013 Sal woke up on his rather nice hotel bed. Stretching out a bit he remembered the events of yesterday that had happened and how he basically said that he was giving the group a second chance. At this point he hadn't much to truly go on so it served the purpose of him just sort of observing the angel things going on just so he could still develop a further understanding as to what it was he should be doing. After that point came, well he didn't really know where his relation with the group would stand at that point. Oh well. It was time to see what the group was usually doing during the morning portion of the day. As such he started to walk down to eat his breakfast for the day. Though when he was down there he noticed that not a soul that belonged to that group of fallen angels was awake yet. Walking around the rest of the hotel the only other angel he noticed was the man who was asleep...in the lobby. Did he even go to his bed last night or does he just come down here to sleep? Oh well, for now he'd just sit and wait for more to come to see how they start their days. MEANWHILE IN RUSSIA Brandon woke up in his own hotel room. Man he felt rather odd purchasing his own hotel room, especially two nights in a row...especially with money that wasn't even his. Sure it was sort of gifted to him, but that's only cause the original owner of it was dead...Oh well, no time to dwell on those odd thoughts. Brandon flung off the covers and was greeted by the cold of Moscow once more. Sure it wasn't as cold as it was inside, but the hotel didn't have the greatest of heating. As such he did his little lightning coat that he did yesterday to keep himself warm. He started just bouncing his tennis ball around as he went to the lobby to wait for what Heinry had planned next for them in their search for his waifu wife.
Today was quite the amusing one he had to admit. It was as if he was living in a completely different world than the one he had been in previously. Before it was just average and mundane, save for the spontaneous international road trips. Now he was in a world of angels and magic and other such things. If there was any doubt in his mind before, which the talking angel in his head slightly got rid of, it was gone now. The whole experience had made him feel rather thrilled to see what was to come with these people. He turned to Xathanael and looked at her. She seemed to be mulling over something, though he wasn't going to inquire as to what. Instead he simply decided to speak to her about his situation. "Now, I know I had said that I would only join once I see some example of teamwork and in that dark angel scenario, well we were all pretty helpless to do anything. But I'll assume it was a rather unique scenario and pass it off as a freebie. So I guess I'll just tag along for now and observe more of your whole group dynamic thing. We'll talk about it more if you'd like later but for now, good night Xathanael." He gave her a smile and walked off to his room. Afterwards he ended up just simply going to bed, completely joyed by the day's experience. ---MEANWHILE IN RUSSIA---Brandon had ended up following Heinry into the taxi and the two had arrived at that really weird sounding town name that there was no way Brandon was going to attempt to pronounce at the moment. They both went to a hotel somewhere in this town and had ended up buying their own hotel rooms again. Feeling a tad drained from using his powers as a heating source, Brandon graciously drifted off into the realm of sleep.
The training had gone on for another few hours before they finally decided they were done with it. Richard didn't feel like he had taught the kid much at all. Just basic things here and there. As for how well Richard had done in his training...he wasn't sure at all. It wasn't like he had developed a greater understanding of his powers at all. Sure he had been able to refine his flames and his mist a bit more but that was about it. Oh well. "I'm gonna be totally honest. I was expecting you to fall asleep halfway through that." He looked at the kid, usual bored expression and all, and just said "Not the first time I've heard that. Anyway, good job today kid. I'm going off to bed now so bye." With El-Harriss turned back into a wand, which Richard pocketed, and he walked off giving a short wave to the kid. All in all the training was probably for the best but he still didn't feel any better about his whole angel abilities. Oh well. He was fine with his fire for now and as such he just went off to his room to get to bed. Once he started to lie down on the bed he heard that familiar voice. "You're still missing part of it. Your powers that is. There's the second half to it that you haven't figured out though. Not yet at least. If you can't learn it, then even with those flames you'll still probably end up losing." 'And I take it you aren't willing to tell me?' "I've told you my second title before. It's up to you to figure out how to use it. Really it should just come naturally, but you probably wouldn't have even thought it existed if I didn't mention. Good luck." 'Right.' With that, Richard ended up falling asleep, feeling slightly confused about his angel powers as a whole. What exactly was he missing? Oh well, sleep now, think later.
Brandon had stepped out of the airport to be met with Moscow's chilly air. He started shivering a bit and rubbing his arms to try and keep warm, but it was still pretty cold here. He wasn't going to really bring it up to Heinry, he didn't quite want to bother him about that. After all Lion did tell him to not be useless, and stopping for winter clothes may be considered a tad useless. Plus it wasn't that big of deal. The UK did get pretty cold after all at times. Granted he usually had some sort of heavier clothing to help deal with it,but oh well. He was watching as Heinry was fiddling around with his phone until a question was directed towards him. "Let's go. We can take a taxi out of here. Can you deal with the cold? It's only nine degrees out." "N-nah, I-I-I'm p-p-perfectly f-f-f-fine." Brandon didn't realize he was actually going to be that affected by the cold. He started to try and think of what to do to make sure that he wasn't going to freeze to death that didn't involve actually diverting any of their time. That when he thought of a simple solution. Electric currents started running all along his skin that were underneath clothing. As such he started feeling warmer from the electric currents coursing throughout his body and just gave a thumbs up to Heinry. "Perfectly fine. Sooo, do we know where to start searching?" Brandon was kind of curious as to where they were actually going. If nothing else just so he could keep the others informed to their location.
Evan had arrived at Professor's place and saw that Boss Man Erik was there alongside Cherry Red. Man this was going to be one hell of a time. Like there was no way this wasn't gonna be fun in some way shape or form. And even better yet, Professor even had some skittles vodka. He hadn't even taken a sip of it yet but he could just see the colors being all vibrant across it. He grabbed it enthusiastically though had to wait until the gang was all ready and had their drinks as well. When everything was all sat they sat down together and Evan started to drink up his colorful beverage. Hot damn that was something great. Oh and how he wanted much much more of it. The gang had spent some time just going through with small talk and um, they were doing other things, pretty sure. The world started to spin in a reverse direction somewhere after his seventy-second drink...wait that number sounded a bit much. Ah who cared, it was talky time with the bros from for-tissi-mo. "So ... story time." He clapped his hands together. "Who wants to go first?" Evan raised his hand and started swaying back and forth, simply losing his balance by doing this. "I-I got this guys, I am game. I am ready. There could not be aman more ready to...uuhhh,"Evan looked to the ceiling for his answers for he had totally forgotten what he was even volunteering for. His gaze eventually fell back to the group and clapping his hands together he said, "ri-right, storytimes. Alrighttttyyyy then. "So this is a story that happened wayyyy in the past. Like back before the time I became a college kid or something. Like seventeen years old. Anyway, me and my old time pal bud, Jason Baker, we were like going around town one night. Being the young and really awesome young kids that we were, we went to like this party thing that was being held. Well we're just enjoying our time there socializing, getting hammered, ya know the things ya do when you're seventeen. So people start to leave the place and it ends up being only me, Jason and the guy who hosted it, Marshall, left at the place. Me and Jason left Marshall for a bit and then heard this like really loud banging noise that happened through the house. So in our totally smashed stupor we run ourselves over to Marshall and he's just like, lying on the ground with some sort of red shit over his heart area. So Jason my boy, he starts flipping out. We basically thought that he was just like shot or something like that. So we're just standing over this dead body not really knowing what to do. But we were pretty sure the police were coming over to the house, I don't really remember why but I know they were coming. So we start pacing all over the place trying to frantically come up with ideas so it doesn't look like we murdered a guy. We were almost positive it'd be pinned on us, so eventually we figured that our best idea was to go hide the body. So taking a really long as tripwith the two of us hoisting him through town, we eventually got to the park, which we figured was totally discreet, and we just sort of left him there by a tree.We threw a few twigs and leaves over him and thought that was basically enough to keep him covered and buried. Job well done we start our way back to our respective places until Marshall, he just stands the fuck up and starts moaning and groaning. Jason starts panicking and shouting about a zombie apocalypse incoming and nearly bolted from there before Marshall spoke up. Turns out the banging noise was just a champagne bottleopening. Turns out that red shit was actually a part of the shirt's design. Turns out the reason he was out coldon the ground, was because he passed out from being drunk. So inthe end, he was never even dead to begin with. Welaughed about the whole thing, don't even think he questioned why we were at the park, and then we all justsort ofcollapsed there and slept for the night and most of the day there."Evan smiled fondly back at that memory. Good times good times...
And so Danel gave his two bits of advice to the group. Really the first one sounded like some sort of a passive threat directed at Xathanael. The second one was actual advice though. Apparently there was someone named Ariel who was in deep shit at the moment and any other form of attack would kill him. Though if there was one thing he wasn't sure of...it was who Ariel was. The only image that came to mind was some disobedient dumbshit horny teenage mermaid, and he was positive that wasn't what was being discussed here."Ariel is an angel, the Lion of God. Quite powerful indeed. Though I wasn't aware that he had fallen. How interesting." Well that certainly cleared up some confusion there. Regardless he kept listening to the explanation Danel was giving. Apparently he was dead set on finding the location of this Leviathan and were going to permanently kill this Jehoel angel. Permanently. Well that certainly sounded like a pickle they were put into. "Well I'll be seeing you, unless there's something else?" Sal sat there really just looking around to see if anyone else had anything to say to the dark angel before him. Since the man was seemingly offering to answer any questions at the moment, Sal did think this would be a good time to learn something from the man. Though if there was one thing he was curious about, it'd be this Leviathan they kept mentioning about. Or Ariel. Man there were so many things he could ask this angel. Oh well, so little time, and as such he probably only had one question to ask. "So if you wouldn't mind telling us, where exactly is Ariel? And what kind of threat does he face anyway?" xx x x x x x
Richard stood by as the Adam kid started to let loose a chuckle. He didn't really realize anything was particularly funny in this scenario but he was pretty oblivious to these things. "So you are good with swords... how good are you with powers then?" It was at that moment the kid used his own powers, the weird gray mist, to move at an extremely fast speed to go land on top of one of those weird boxes on rooftops with fans. "I can tell you right now." he paused for a moment as he placed Nakhosh on his lap, "I am terrible at swordfighting, I got trained yeah, but, I'm not that good at it. So instead of us lunging at each other getting nowhere in the process, you help a guy out? I'll help with whatever I can." He stood there taking in the offer for the moment. "I can tell you right now, about all I can do at the moment is ignite things." To demonstrate that he had the white mist coil off his sword only to condense it and ignite his saber in white flames. "Seeing as your powers are clearly different my own, I don't really know how you could help develop them any further, other than maybe being kindling for my fire." He sighed a bit before continuing. "Furthermore my own sword style is simply based off of a sport where people are moving in a straight line, so I'm not sure how well that would actually help you. But I suppose it's worth a shot." He put out El-Harriss before saying, "so what do you want to do first?"
Brandon sat there bouncing his ball around when suddenly Heinry came downstairs. They were apparently departing for Moscow now. Now Brandon was no geology major, but he was pretty sure Moscow was not in the South Pole where they knew his wife was being held. Then he said that they were going to an airplane now to get going on their journey. Also apparently Heinry had connections in Russia. Wasn't Moscow in Ukraine though? Oh well, he'd just go along with this confusing geology problems being presented to him. However before that he simply said, "okay, I'll be out in a minute, just gotta do something." Brandon figured it'd be good to keep everyone in the loop so he decided to shoot a text to the one man he knew always had his phone on him. For without his phone, that man may not even be able to function the same way as he usually would. Taking out Cas's phone he began a message. With that done Brandon started his way out of the hotel and started following behind Heinry on their way to the airport. He was still pretty much utterly confused as to what they were actually planning on doing but seeing as Heinry probably wouldn't listen to any sort of dissuading message he could give him, he just decided to follow along for now. Though he was curious as to what they were going to do in the event that they actually succeeded. "So, what're we going to do once we find your wife?"
How the situation had changed rather quickly. Between the black and white winged angel man appearing and where they were now, well he found it to be rather amusing. He figured this Danel was most likely a dark angel, and that for whatever reason dark angels possessed most of their strength whilst all the fallen angels clearly weren't in any contention against them. Just yesterday he was told by Jun Tae that being by himself would basically make him a free kill to the dark angels, and that being a part of their group would probably ensure him safety. Now he was with three members of the group and was bound to the ground without any real means of fighting back the very next day. Rather funny actually. Oh well, regardless of how the situation was escalating he calmly sat through it all just observing the rather explosive reaction from the fiery asian girl and the extremely boisterous Xathanael. The two of them must have some sort of rough history but he wouldn't both Zachariel for a history lesson. Or at least not at the moment. Though through all of this the only person he really felt anything for was the person he assumed to be Dumah. That guy just looked like a scared child shrivelling in the corner. Regardless something needed to be done about the situation at hand, and honestly the two enraged behaviors of the ladies was not doing anything to help. This was rather clear by the fact that Danel was just laughing at her. So, despite coming here as an observer, Sal decided to speak up. He looked to Xathanael and spoke in a calm voice. "Now, now. Clearly Danel here has something he'd like to say to us. Otherwise he wouldn't have been lying in wait in those shadows for us when we came here, and we'd all probably be dead by now." Turning over to face Danel he figured he'd see if being cordial would get them anywhere. "I know it sounds like we're repeating the same question a good deal, but would you be so kind to tell us what it is you came here for?"
Richard watched as the kid evaded his sword swipe and had stepped back only to be enveloped by the mist he had used. He just sort of took it before responding with some sort of mist of his own. Interesting. It looked a bit darker than the mist that Richard was using so he figured it probably had some sort of different effect. As to what he had no real idea. "Prior training?" Without giving Richard anytime to respond whatsoever he charged in with his mist covered sword. The kid swung at Richard's legs but the sword wasn't really the main attraction to that attack. Instead it was the mist that came from his sword that was what he was really going for. The mist ended up covering Richard's legs and felt as though something was tightly gripping onto it. Well that was certainly a bother. To respond Richard used his own mist that started producing out his body to envelop the mist that was gripping his legs. At that point his own mist condensed into fire and ignited on the gray mist around his legs. He felt the grip loosening before he returned to focusing on sword play. With El-Harriss he simply took a step backward away from Adam and parried away his blade by pushing his own at it. After that he simply whipped El-Harriss upward so that it was inches away from Adam's face and said, "You could say that," before bringing his blade back in close.
