Lol, your probably right there Mish XD. Although it tends to be that those who rule are least fit to do so and that poses a problem. Currently we are protected by the MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) principle, wherein if one side launches nukes the other side also launches and everybody loses.

But, if America built their defence system (which Britain supports, I think correct me if I'm wrong) then Russia would be unable to fire back.
This whole deal with diplomats and extradition is just politicians letting off hot air and kicking up a fuss. Tbh I'm not that worried, although I've never had that much confidence in the world's leaders.

Apparantly it is all posturing on Russias part, as they havn't fully recovered after the collapse of the Soviet Union. If it does escalate I doubt we will be alive long enough to worry about it *starts work on nuclear bunker*

The point I am making is that there is a massive difference between businesses accepting different currencies as payments, and employees being paid in a different currency. Salaries should always be in the countries currency.

An example being, here in northern Cyprus they accept British pounds, the Euro and the Turkish lira, BUT workers are paid in Turkish lira everywhere as it is the countries currency.

I like the emo style so dress quite emo, and get called emo as a result. But I don't care about being called emo, it's just a word. Most emos wouldn't cut, no (probably =/) and there are plenty of people who are not 'emo' who cut themselves. The emo stereotype has got way out of hand in that respect.

Everyone seems to be missing the point, it's fine for places to accept different currencies, the point is they were PAYING the employees in a different currency. I don't appreciate being called a facist. So as to avoid any more confusion READ THE ORIGINAL POST CAREFULLY NEXT TIME!!!

I'm just glad they don't have conscription, or I would be openly protesting and possibly taking more extreme action.

There was a poster outside our school for the Territorial Army and I thought it was disgusting. I mean, people go to school to get an education, not throw their lives away for whatever government happens to be in power at the time. I personally would never join the army under any circumstance.
