The game won't be out in the U.S. so I'm going to close this as there are a ton of threads that come out on the same subject. PM me if there are any questions.
Well between KH and CoM...in Sora's part in CoM if you change the word of 'memories' to 'Heart' you have Kingdom Hearts all over again, practically, excluding the Organization battles. With the other games, the reoccurring villains and worlds are smiliar. The battle with Ursula, though musically done in KH2 was done again. Maleficent came back though no fight this time. Oogie Boogie's battle with the dice and stuff was similar because he was again running around on top of something and you had to wait until he'd come down to beat the tar out of him. The Sephiroth battle was almost the same as KH as well.
There's no way Roxas would have won the second fight with Riku. Even though he had a temper tantrum and yelled he was winning, Riku was clearly the victor well before he changed form. He even knocked Roxas out, which is something Roxas failed to do to Riku in their first fight. He held Oblivion and returned it to Roxas's unconscious body so Roxas is not the baddest thing out there. Riku only changed forms to avoid harming Roxas. Riku clearly had that fight.

I'm going to go ahead and close this since there is another thread on Xigbar where he can be actually discussed more than just hating or liking him. Please, guys, we have to follow the rules here so no more 'do you hate' threads or I'll have to move them to the Spam Zone.

I believe he was referring to his emotions in which he says he does not remember experiencing anything but the negative emotions because Sora tells him the Heart feels more than that and doesn't he remember that. So, if pain and hatred were all he could recall, it wasn't necessarily a lie, and he could have been rather cold and aloof though hiding that from Ansem the Wise when he stayed there. We can't know for sure whether he 'lied' or not but during his time with Ansem the Wise, one might have thought he had 'some' good times. We have to remember he did lose his memories of other times but his past also may have been very traumatic and frustrating to him too. Also, if he was rather depressed, negative etc, even with 'happy times' that occur, he may have felt very angry at something which kept him from experiencing better things. I'd say it's not so much a lie as telling what he was really like emotionally before he became a Nobody.
I would consider them equals because both have a lot of power but in different ways. We can't really see all that Riku is capable of since unfortunately we can never use him as a character to control so his abilities are truly not seen in KH2. However, in CoM you can see more of what he is capable of. Sora relies on a lot of abilities and magic and special things given to him by others. He has a lot of power through these gifts and abilities and magic. The magic is learned and does add a lot to the character's potentials. Riku, however, has innate power he can have whether possessing a Keyblade or not. He can physically fire power off that is unnatural for others to have, including Sora. He's also physically stronger than Sora and if you don't add bonus strength and defense stuff to Sora, Riku is stronger, even with the Keyblade he has that is a 3 in strength. However, you don't really get to see what he can do with it in KH2 as much. In CoM though he could jump farther than Sora and had more strength to his hits. He also had better Defense against physical and magical damage. So, Sora has more variety and potential things he can pull out, including spells to protect him and Riku has raw power that is innate but doesn't have as much for extra stuff he can do. This to me pretty well makes them equals and very strong together or apart. Also, Riku was the actual intended Keyblade wielder in KH, though Sora carried the weapon throughout the game and was later given it because of Riku's choosing Darkness over his friend and that his heart became weakened in his desperation. Sora's other power comes from being around his friends and his amiability while Riku tends to wander on his own and gets help from very few people and is more quiet. In the end, both counter each other very well and have their own strengths in some situations that may make the other person less capable in some scenarios. So, yeah, to me they are equals but one may be superior in a scenario than the other.
Sora sighed and stepped down and sat back in his seat. Xelax did obviously not listen because Sora even said that he was not saying he was attempting to kill him in the first fight at all. There were other serious errors in Xelax's speech but oh well. What was done was done and he was not going to argue it anymore. He just really thought the whole thing was skewed and you can't toss out someone's testimony based on perceptions because that in itself is definitely not a lie. But it was up to the Judge and it was just something to hope that he was actually going to be impartial. "Don't let it get to you. Xelax did point out a couple things though he's very opinionated and thinks certain things that aren't going to be altered in this. You know where you goofed up and just accept that. It doesn't really matter what he thinks was right or wrong in the end as he assumed things and also was quite wrong." Riku patted Sora on the shoulder. "Take the lesson you need to learn. The other stuff is trivial." "I guess so. He just really has it out for me." Sora sighed in defeat. Riku shrugged. "We can't be liked by everyone." Repliku watched quietly as the proceedings carried on. More and more he was glad he thought of his plan so he could get free of this place. Maybe he could do it early on and then he could be off to go have fun elsewhere and enjoy life outside of the crappy castle. He had some sympathy to Demyx who seemed in a way to have been used by the Organization. At the same time though, he had made no attempts to rebel or do anything to help himself out of it. It made Repliku ponder how he should judge the guy who had a penchant for playing a sitar as his choice of weapon. Xemnas was a strong looking figure of mystery. He had obviously been very strict with the Nobodies to keep them in line but what was his story? This was where Repliku was not knowing and as he would hear more from now an Org member not part of Marluxia's loser club, it would be intriguing.

I had to edit it and Sora was told he could answer if he wanted so that's what he did and did go back to the stand to do so since he only stepped down because Janexna seemed finished when she said she took back her questions. That is -not- a lie. He is accusing me of things that are very false. I do not gloat like that. There's a difference between gloating and going "whoo hoo we kicked your butt!' and what I said and felt. Also, we were there for all of what...a minute for two lines, probably less? That's hardly hanging around for a long time like he's making up. My actions and deeds were to save the people of Hollow Bastion, let alone other worlds and to get the Organization off their backs and mine. On the next point, I was never asked to say anything about after the fight which was two lines and over with and all I was supposed to do was talk about Demyx and me and the others involved. I shouldn't have provoked you and I was going to say so after the trial, but I'll say it now. I don't expect an apology back. For whatever it's worth though, forgive me for being so brash with you the second time we met." Sora was going to ponder answering and in a way he was glad he didn't have to. Obviously the two lawyers had never seen combat and Demyx -did- have the chance to escape and instead turned around to say his 'silence traitor' line and fight. Yeah, Sora admitted he was frustrated and in a hurry but the lawyer again was trying to say it was all his fault Demyx acted as he did when it was the same thing from before when Sora was nicer to him. It didn't matter really. Sora could say what he did and admit he was wrong but it still wasn't good enough for this lady. In the end though, he didn't care what she thought. He would apologize to Demyx personally for his attitude. She was right that he maybe hadn't merited such treatment but it wasn't her he had to say a word to. It was Demyx himself and he hoped in the end his testimony had helped Demyx out because he was as honest as he could be and did defend him too. That's what the lady did not care to see. He didn't like the way these things were going. Sora gave a nod to the judge and walked back to his seat rather somberly and sat down next to Kairi. "meh" was all he could get out as he ran his hands through his hair. Why he was being villainized when he was not even trying to make Demyx look bad was just lame...or was it? He had to think.
But wait! Piss yellow is not equal to sun yellow. **** brown is not equal to the mountains and earth. Vomit green is not equal to grassy green. And since this is true, I want to see crayons with those color names on them because that would just be really cool. Since they want to name every other shade and variant of color, these need accurate names too.
