Fun things to say I get quoted on for some reason... When someone sucks at something: "you are full of fail." When someone is great at something: "Way to win" When someone asks where it is "Up your butt." When someone wants to know something badly "I could tell you but you really don't want to know." When someone wants to know where a girl is "Sorry but your princess is in another castle." When someone wants to know where a guy is "He was ditched at the pass. Something about a shoot out." When I meet someone. "You don't know me but there you are." If someone has a problem: 'What's it to you?" Someone annoys me: "I will bite you." or "Is my evil death glare working yet?" Popular words: kikazz, fawesome (fragging or the other F word + awesome), fragtastic, rejectard (someone who's really stupid), psy-cho-tic (when someone asks whether I'm psychic or not). Insults that are appropriate for KH-Vids: buttmunch, snot rag, turd bucket, and any other two words that go great together that I can make people say 'wtf' over because I'm not cussing and yet it's so insulting it's fun. Usually I call people these in jest and they laugh and know it. Lame Threats or Insult phrases: I will color your world. I can see stupid people... *point* You don't know who you are messing with. I, on the other hand, know myself quite well and have the upper hand here. I will eat your brains. Can't touch this. (yes, MC Hammer hurts). Yes, I really -am- all that and a lot more, both good and bad, mind you. You will rue the day you messed with my hamster. I have a cat and I'm not afraid to toss it at you when you are sleeping. And probably 50,000 more oddities. Speech is fun to play with and making people look at you all weird.
I'm going to close this thread since it's a duplicate of several other threads of the past and this theory is hardly brand new and has been out since the trailer came out way back when. No one can really claim to have originated the theory since quite a few of us came up with it around the same time back when we early on debated it. Anywhoo, it's closed since it's seeming to lead into an argument. Any questions, feel free to PM me.
Go to the area and go to 'Extended Rpgs'. There you could write up an Original Rpg idea if you wanted that would be rp'd out seriously. Some in there come from other things like Star Wars but others are entirely created out of the GM's imagination and the player characters are all originals.
Harvey gave a nod. "I understand and just wanted to clarify things. This isn't about fighting over who is superior in this regards. It's a matter that someone misspoke gravely and then tried to use those words as reasons to toss out someone's testimony when in fact that testimony has been as clear as it could be. It does not harm Demyx in any way and when Demyx speaks we will have more to compare. The accusations Xelax made were unfounded and the request to an action is also therefore erroneous. That's all we wanted repaired. I understand you would cover for a friend but there's a difference between doing that and doing your job sometimes. I also think pulling him back and saying he's wrong, as I have had to do with Pika at times, is showing friendship too. It saves from nasty reprisals and all." OOC: Where is that masked org member any way!!! YO DEMYX!!! Is Amber Demyx? I need to check on the first page. We want Demyx. We want Demyx! Yes, ~Amber~ is Demyx. Also, I just saw the pic on the first thread here by DF and wow, that is just awesome. Nice job!
You could make your RPG in one of the other sections in the RPG area. People have all sorts of RPGs hosted in there. It is not just a KH rpg area. Also, we tend to join quite a few RPGs at a time. Don't discredit people assuming all they RP is KH stuff. Browse around the area and acclimate yourself there and check out the various stuff. There's an array of ideas going on in there. You could easily make an RPG and people would join it if it is intriguing to them. If you don't try, you don't know.
Seems we are going to be waiting a while. *passes out Snickers*
No, I totally understood and just feel strongly against this suggestion. There are decent RPGs out there and crappy ones, regardless of the Title of the Rpg. The Organization is a major part of the KH universe and people also have their takes on what the Organization was really like. Also, roleplays on the Organization being numerous means players can get a chance to play some of their favorite Org members and not have to compete with others elsewhere to get the chance because the characters are sucked up as soon as the RP begins. Each RPG, despite being called whatever, such as the Org 13 rpgs, is handled differently by the creator and also the players. They are different rpgs. That is why no one in staff would dream of taking that right of creativity away from the players. There's no point. Also, some people take pics from sites or deviant art etc to show what their characters look like because they can't draw above that of a stick figure and would like to save time on description. As long as the person is not claiming the artwork as his/her own, what's so wrong with it unless the artist declares posting it elsewhere and not giving credit is a no-no? I'm sorry and respect suggestions that come up here but if it is something that is designed to take people's rights away for no good reason, I certainly will have to shoot it down. Your personal opinion is noted but there will be a lot of other people who would counter this if they thought about it, and already do. It may be frustrating to you, but I think you are just going to have to suck it up. It's like asking people to not post sigs of Sora or Riku etc. There are other RPGs out there in that section and even RPGs that have nothing to do with KH. Check them out and maybe you'll find something you enjoy, k?
Harvey shrugged. "In simple, YOUR examination is not being questioned. Xelax's is so if you don't want me in it, he should retract his statements because they are unfounded and the right to dismiss someone's testimony in this matter is foolish. He had NO grounds to stand on BUT personal opinion. You aren't a concern so drop the charade already of acting like it's all falling on you." "The points were declared where Xelax had 'misspoken' and therefore if he and you will not concede on Xelax's points as I did with Pika's and toned him down, you are backing someone who is flawed whether you like it or not. Whether you agree with Sora's personal feelings regarding the matter is of little importance. They are -his- feelings. You don't dismiss a testimony based on that or the actions therein. Also, failure to ask Sora what he did afterwards or what his own feelings were on the matter is the fault of the Defense, not Sora's. Do stop trying to toss blame around when it is Xelax's responses that are in question here. Enough is enough, Janexna. He had no right to state a thing if you didn't want me to be involved and just wanted to deal with Pika. Just as I have to control some of his outbursts, let's see you exercise your power and control your own fanatical lawyer over there." Harvey just shook his head. There was no need to say anything else. Xelax was purely wrong whether Janexna wished to accept the fact he had tossed out opinions as facts and had nothing to back them up. He was not just going to let that go legally. In court, that could be grounds for dismissal of an attorney right there.
It is not really a choice as in a casual I'll wear a pink shirt today or a red one. Teenage years or sexual exploration is not the same as knowing what you are 'attracted' to and what turns you off. It isn't a simple choice if you are a female and think that having intercourse with a guy is so nasty because he smells different or has another body part you think is gross and want no where near you. The same can be said for a guy that wants nothing to do with a woman etc after some exploration. Sexual exploration is not the same as actually having likes and dislikes. You have your favorite foods and those that probably make you want to barf or gag. Do you have to try the foods to know they will make you gag or that you really love them or find them eh ok? Of course, though sometimes people can look at a food and it is so gross they won't bother to taste it either. This can be pretty well how sexual 'preferences' work. So, I'm sorry, but I really have to disagree with anyone that says it's a choice as simple as you make it. Talking WITH gay people and straight people should make it all too clear it's not that simple.
I'm still waiting on the answer.
lol, that is possible. >.>
And you have a thing for Gary Coleman?
How dare you! I...I just don't know if I can forgive you for this. *snerks*
I'm sorry to say this, but just no. Are you trying to tell people they have to think of more 'original' names than putting Organization XIII into their Roleplaying game titles? That is -their- right to choose what they title a game and if you don't like it, you just don't join the game. Now, if they were all named 'Organization XIII' and had no identifiers afterwards, sure I would ask the role-player GMs/creators to put in a bit more so that we could tell which RP was which, but why take away the members' rights to name an RPG based on Org 13 whatever they want as long as it's within the rules? Should we also tell them to change RPGs with 'Sora' in them? Or why not the word 'Heart'? If you don't want to see Kingdom Hearts Rpgs, move along to the other divisions in the RPG section because no one in their right mind is going to force people to change their RPG titles because someone finds them 'repetitive'. This is a KH site. Since other divisions exist, the KH RPGs in the main section should stay as they are. Let it be.
I am more surprised they tried to bring the Hulk back and didn't just trash the first movie before it left to be put out. I actually want to see X-Files and The Mummy. *hops around with anticipation* I am curious how the DbZ movie will turn out. It's either going to suck majorly or be really great. It can't be in between.
Prego It's in there. You might wanna try engrish since we comprehend that better than Italian.
I'm going to go ahead and lock this since the answer is provided and now it is starting to become spammish. Hopefully the suggestions work for you. If not, feel free to PM me or open a new thread on your troubles with it.
It is, and I'd never have known that if I didn't spend half an hour arguing with someone over it and he finally broke it to me and said he has no choice or he could lose his job. Also, I ended up meeting some people at college with these jobs and they were pretty blunt about it and annoyed. They know people that have no clue what they are doing and so just script readers and the people that do know what they are doing desperately try to get in higher tech positions to get away from them. and...haha, I beat you again. No hating now! <3 It's so not intentional.
I agree with this post. It sums it up rather well. Age really is one of the only defining characteristics we can use to determine when people should gain 'rights' to do things or have privileges. This however, does not necessarily mean someone is more mature at 16 than they were at 12. If you think about it though, not only is age used to measure that someone is of a good time to be able to attempt having the ability to do something, but it is also an indicator that physically they are capable. Driving at 16 means that someone normally is done growing or near done growing and actually physically big enough to drive vehicles. Also, they aren't so lanky and going through the growth spurt time of where your body is changing so much that it seems out of control for some teens. Drinking at 18 or 21 or whatever is also significant as drinking when younger has been known to have effects on teens and children in brain development and motor functions when done a lot. The body is more stable when it is not growing still. So age isn't just there for mental behavior but also physical in some cases. Maturity as far as mental goes, is not necessarily based on age but is also dependent on experiences -and- how the person deals with those experiences. There are many mentally immature adults that haven't had experiences or they deal with them so poorly it's pathetic. There are some teens that spend time having to even scold their parents for reckless behavior. The age is a defining point simply used for where the majority of people may be best suited to have something legal for them and there will always be those people who will fall short of maturity or will be more mature prior to the age. It is an average means and that's all it should be taken as. Also, you may get treated more maturely at 16 than you were at 15 because of the ability to be more independent is granted and you now can explore these things. Not only can you drive but you can also get a better job than options as a 15 year old. More responsibilities may be placed on you or you may choose to take up that weren't available before. Not all adults though are going to treat you as being more mature however. I'm 25 and still sometimes by adults older than me in their 40s + tend to treat me like I'm a young thing that doesn't know what I'm doing. Sometimes they are right and other times, they are just being prejudiced. No matter how old you get, someone will always talk you down saying you don't know crap. It's the way it works. So while some adults are being nice to you and giving you a chance to prove yourself as being more mature, some others won't care. This is where mental maturity though kicks in. If you don't worry so much about numbers, other than knowing you will gain privileges at those ages, and don't mind that some people will either look at you as needing to be more mature or less depending on your age, then it doesn't really matter. It's what you do with what you do get rights to do that matters and makes you mature or immature now. If you can tell that going out driving drunk or bullying people, or calling out your window at some girls and not paying attention to the road is immature, then you are ready, regardless of age, to mentally be prepared for driving. If you are not able to tell these things, then even at 30 something you aren't mature enough for the responsibility, which is why despite 'age' people lose their licenses.
I take it you mean any kind of tech support to include help desk. In the end, they are hired on and trained for the jobs they have. They must respond to a script even if they do know what they are usually doing because of protocol and if any of them messed up someone's computer giving them free instructions, they are taking a risk because people will sue. Also, we have to understand that their educations vary so some actually don't know what the hell they are talking about. If you get a level 1 tech helper, assume he/she will go by the script exactly because they are newbs and don't know as much. Tech level 2 or level 3 are where you will get better assistance because they actually have some college education and are also people that work on programs etc and are much more acclimated with computers. When I go to talk to someone for tech help, I always now tell the tech first people I get that I'd like to speak to someone who knows what they are talking about because I -do- and the problem isn't something simple like did I plug in the computer. I say it nicely but the point is valid that if you actually know what you are doing and can do some tech work on your own, go for the higher ups and you'll see that normally they aren't so bad as that.
