    A Rant.

A part of life is having problems and learning to cope with them and get over them. If people get traumatized over what a -few- people think about them on a forum, it is time to rethink their lives and where they are going wrong.

Most people here don't -hate- anyone but instead get -annoyed- at something the person is doing. I.e. some people hate my long ass essays. Now, does it mean I should take it personal and assume people hate my guts when I get derepped or even scolded for them? No. It means I should look at the thing they don't like...which is my long ass essays. Then I can decide if I'm still going to do it and tick off a few people or stop it and try something else. Obviously, I still choose to do it because here we are and I'm still at it. Why? Because though some don't like them, others do. So I take the insults and the compliments and that's the way it goes. I live with the decision. This is hard for some people to do but once you realize that in this life -everyone- is not going to be happy with what you do, it doesn't hurt so much. Expectations that everyone should think you are super cool will just lead you to disappointment. Most of the time if you just don't bother with caring what others think and just treat everyone with respect, you tend to get respect back. Those who don't give you back it.. screw them. It doesn't matter because who are they that you need to really impress them? Just remember that even the most popular people in the world have their critics and haters. It's the way it goes.

The suicide threads...ungh. There are people here who really have some serious dilemmas and they can go to the Help with Life forum and others, whether going through their own traumatic experiences or not, will take the time out to help as they can. It shows people care here and it also shows that some of the things going on are really -bad-. If some of the whiners think their lives are so bad, take a stroll over there and read some of the threads for a wake up call. Hell, join in and get some assistance while you are at it instead of saying something here about how we won't see you again because you are off to /wrists.

As for a small percentage of people feeling high and mighty or above others...it happens. I -really- do not like the fact that I see some friendships being abused at times or that some people have this way of going out of their way to harm others for no real reason other than it makes them feel good. I also don't like it when I hear of special treatment going to some people and they use it as a weapon against others. We may not all be able to -like- each other but we should all -respect- one another. No one, whether staff or not, should be above the rules we set for ourselves that help keep peace. Right? I think we should all agree that there are just some things that -no one- here should do to someone else regardless of a color of name. There are also responsibilities staff has and members here should -trust- the staff to do their jobs, which is helping maintain this site and enforcing the rules not just for others but also for themselves. I certainly personally don't feel above the rules and I don't think the majority of people here do, but some seem to now and then. The rules are not that constrictive and they are there only because some people harm others or cause drama. The biggest thing I -hate- is drama. A real problem is not drama to me. People causing others to suffer because they want to say things they should not or stir the kettle...well, that's drama. Also, people who -do- acts that others say complaints or criticisms about, why is it that some people think they are above what others think? If you are called out on a thing you do, see my first two paragraphs and figure out whether you want to do something about it instead of declaring you are not doing what you are accused of doing. Hello? I know I am writing one helluva an essay here. Someone will call me on it. Am I going to whine to an admin if I'm called an essay whore? Oh noes! They are right. I just can't seem to get crap down easily when it's such a big topic. I admire people who can. It's their choice whether to read what I say or not. If they want to comment, by all rights they should be able to say their opinion without flaming me, even if it is negative, just as I have a right to point out things I see that are irritating to me. If they -hate- me over an essay...like this one...so be it. It's rather petty but I will gather that most people who will say something simply are just annoyed at me and don't really think I'm the worst thing since Hitler.

These are things I have to say bug me too. I am a very benevolent person and will help anyone if I see they actually want the help. I am also a friend to anyone who wants to be my friend and even to those who at times can't stand me, until they come out and do something rotten to me, or others. Most people here are very fun to chat with and hang out with. Otherwise I wouldn't come here. However, there are some things now and then that we can all need to vent about. Any way, the majority of people here to me are really great and I'm glad I have had the chance to get to know you. Even if I've seen some people do some of these things I mention, it certainly doesn't mean I hate them in any way. I'm really not even aiming this at anyone in particular but yeah, I do hear what CtR is saying and I'm sure at one point or another probably a -lot- of us have felt like just blowing up at a few things we see. However, again, I feel inclined to say that if people get offended, they shouldn't be by what is said. It's a time of reflection and to think whether it's worth it or not to change that thing that upsets others. If it isn't, deal with some people being annoyed. If it is, then go for it and alter it. This is really how we grow up and become better people...by criticisms and praise; making mistakes and making positive decisions.

And crap...this turned out long. Sorry! I've prevented an Apocalyptic event for another 6 months. Excelsior!

Repliku sighed. "I hate being seen as weak, but fine." He slumped his shoulders and exhaled slowly. After, he turned, gulped down the soda, belched and tossed out the can. There was no way he wasn't finishing the cola before this. He needed something positive to think about. He made his way back to the court room, figuring Pika would follow him. Oh, how he didn't want to do this. He moved through the double doors and made his way towards the stand with a determined look at the judge like if he had to do it he would. "Right. Suppose I'm here now."

This movie was the best movie I've seen all summer. It totally blew me away with the performances and how dramatic and dark it was. I want to go see it again. Heath Ledger really was a terrific joker and the hype for the movie was not over exaggerated at all, which is so seldom.

Repliku blanched a bit and then shrugged, putting on a tougher appearance about it all. "I don't like what Axel did to me but I was stupid too. I don't really want people to do to me what they already have. I'm a doll and a tool when they want me to be. I am only as sentient in this case as they will say I could have made a decision and not listened to him. I'm really only as real as someone wants me to be and I can tell you this. As fake as those two feel I am, they would feel -real- agony and hopefully death if they attempted on me what they've done to Namine and Sora. I don't care if I die and no one else does either, but I will certainly take someone with me if I have to hear only negativity. I have Darkness and I -will- use it. It's best to call someone up who will be 'nice' and take the name calling and harassment."

In KH, it is a question at times why some things happen. By what I've figured out, the Nobodies do still possess a soul and their minds, but otherwise are 'reborn' in the state they are of being incomplete, with new bodies and no Heart. So, I'd guess that the memories held in their former Hearts would probably be held by the soul and intact minds they possess. The emotions themselves are important to remembering because if you think about it, we can recall traumatic or great experiences but as time goes on, the small stuff seems to just kind of fade away. What would be a good question is how many memories do the Nobodies actually retain as being Nobodies themselves since they have no heart to decide the emotional impact of them. I'd almost think they then would have great short term memory but long term as a Nobody could be a problem and maybe that's why they have all those reminders around. So, their memories of their former lives would be possible by the soul and mind storing them from the past because they are done, but their long term memory as a Nobody may not be so keen if the heart is that important.

Also, I wouldn't say Roxas had a 'whole heart'. I think he had a part of one which was granted by being a Keyblade wielder connected to Sora and that the Keyblade was very important because with -no Heart- you couldn't really wield one. It judges you by your Heart. So it makes sense to say he at least had some of one and as time went on he also received Oblivion and Oathkeeper, connecting him to two more people that had Hearts (Riku and Kairi). He was an odd Nobody and he seems to have lost his body early on and Terra does make the inquiry to Master Xehanort "What did you do to his Heart?" as Ven is basically acting like Kairi did in Kingdom Hearts while hers was missing. I do connect Ven and Roxas together and right now kind of am led to believe he had some serious problems that encouraged him being linked to Sora, but how right that is, I guess we won't know till BBS. Roxas though is a quandary and not a regular Nobody so it's hard to base much off of his stuff. The other Nobodies really should be the ones analyzed in this matter.

If you think you could handle both, I suppose that would be fine. I was kind of hoping to separate them a bit more, same as Kairi and Namine, but if you think you can play both fine, we'll go with that so we can get started soon.

Repliku stopped and lowered his soda. He was just about to reenter the court room and heard his name called to the stand. What could they want with him? His eyes darted left and then right. He then backed against the wall in thought. If I just go back down the hall and hide somewhere for a long time...they'll choose someone else. But where to go? He looked down the hall and began to wander. He passed by the bathroom and stopped, unaware of much of the antics that had occurred there earlier with Namine and Roxas. He rubbed his chin and shrugged, walking in there. He then went into a stall and sat down on the toilet and went back to drinking the elixir of life...soda. "Darn it..I counted on Vexen's trial being the only one...crap."

That song is one of my all time favorite songs. I love the message in it and it is inspiring. John Lennon was a really interesting person and very creative. It's sad he had to die when he did and this song was definitely one of the songs that may have encouraged the very religious radical psychopath to kill him. The guy who did the deed was a Beatles fan but also extremely religious so when things conflicted..well we know how it ended up. Despite the tragedy, the song lives on.

However, one thing that annoyed me about this song was that instead of the line 'and no religion too' some Christians went and changed the line to 'and -one- religion too' which canceled out his message and also gives credit in a way to his death by a zealot psychopath. I will never get how that was permitted.

I don't really agree with this as an explanation. Basically you should just say 'are people drones' or not or something to that affect. If we were hive minded beings and not instead social mammals that raise each other and interact, it would be more of a debate by how you word the explanation. The term you use just doesn't work with the example really. Just because people learn things from others early on doesn't mean people aren't their 'own'. Influences are not deciding on how a person will absolutely turn out or we would tremendously stagnate. Also, many people are taught what is constructive (good) and destructive (bad or evil if that word must be used). As an example again of someone who is more independent, the person will have thought about -why- people say something is bad or good, when can it be good instead of bad, whether it even makes sense to call it a bad thing and if it comes out it's not so bad, the person can utterly call it old people stupidity and dismiss it. That person, whether raised on the morals for years or not would then not be restricted. Even if this sort of person determines that a majority of the time some act is very bad and goes along with the moral crowd, it does not mean the person is not 'his/her own person'. It simply means that either the person investigated and didn't find a reason to be unique from the crowd or the person -chose- to not do anything and kept horse blinders on.

In the end it's always a personal choice whether someone wants to be prejudiced, just go with stuff and be rather incomplete. Even in the worst of historic times, the one thing no one can take away from you is your -mind- and the right to think, despite how some religions try to make you believe that the God can hear every little nasty thought in your head to go ahead and make you paranoid. We are our own people. Just sadly, enough people don't bother to explore and just don't care to examine -why- something is or -how- it functions.

I was pondering why can't some games go to the Competition forum in the Spam Zone area just now since some games can be 'competitive' any way. Is there a reason why that wouldn't work out if we don't make a sub-forum? I still don't see anything wrong though with a place for games.

There really is no other place for it to go really. Departures and the Introductions go kind of together since one is for joining the forum and the other leaving. Most people who leave are going on vacation anyway and those who leave for good, well that's up to them. Also, do we really have a reason to be hiding departure things from those who come in and introduce themselves? I don't think so. If the departures scare them off, they aren't very used to forums or chat discussion areas and well, it's a wake up to reality on any sort of forums really. I'd say that though I see your point in a sense, I don't think we should have a need to move Departures from where it is.

"...Well, at least it's servitude until Xemnas's trial is over and then he would go free...so that's not soOo bad." Riku wasn't sure what else to say about that. Of course he really didn't care to know if Demyx had a speedo under his cloak or not.

Sora scratched his head. "Uh...so...um...yeah...I guess he gets to stay with us all then so that's ...kind of cool,..right?"

Whatever kind of decision that was...well, it was too bad he didn't make Demyx everyone else's slave in the room too. Repliku was getting kind of thirsty. Ah well. He got up and wandered out to go get some soda. Going to the machine...he eyed it. Placing his hand against the machine, darkness opened a small portal and his hand went through and he pulled out a soda. After he dissipated the Darkness and then roamed back in after checking to make sure no one saw him. He grinned and sat down victorious. After all, Replikus didn't come equipped with money so theft was uh...maybe permissable. He wondered if he could try to pretend he was as silly as Demyx and that he didn't know better. After all he was only a few days old technically. He doubted anyone in here would suspect anything any way. Popping open the lid he gulped down some soda and burped quietly. "ahh..so good to taste food stuff for real."

Harvey stood up. "As this begins, Axel's charges are the following:

1 Count of Assault - Roxas - Fight in the Sandlot
1 Count Aggravated Assault - Roxas - Mansion
    1 Kidnapping Charge - Kairi
1 Attempted Murder of Roxas by Order.
1 Count Conspiracy to Murder Sora - to get Roxas back, changing him to a Heartless again.
3 Combined - 1 Assault Charge each to Sora/Donald/Goofy in Castle Oblivion. (first fight)
1 Murder Charge - Vexen by Order of Marluxia - this may be contested by Xemnas.
3 Counts - 1 Count each Coercion of Sora/Donald/Goofy. - Working with Marluxia.
1 Coercion of Riku Replica - which led to murder and attack.
1 Murder by Proxy of Zexion - using Riku Replica.
1 Aggravated Assault by Proxy using Riku Replica against Riku.
1 Attempted Murder of either Riku or Riku Replica in Castle Oblivion. - He set them to fight for one to die.

"This is what I have come up with so far, your Honor."

OOC: Sorry I had to edit this but realized I forgot Axel's charges. I may have to add to them but that's what came off the top of my head so far on the spot heh heh.

I liked Axel's chakram the best. They seemed so versatile and more cool than any other chakram I'd ever seen before used in stuff. They kind of also reminded me of hawk hatchets which can be thrown as he does and they just looked fun. Usually I like swords so it is kind of weird I like his weapons the best. I do also like Oblivion and Oathkeeper though and Larxene's kunai were cool too. Scythes are usually cool...but Marluxia's just wasn't to me. :/

Riku was my favorite partner all in all. I was hoping he'd be a partner and when it happened I was all 'hooray!' but I also enjoyed having Aladdin and Axel who was a surprise and lasted too short. Mulan wasn't bad either.
