Having lost focus for a bit, in his tailing of his royal court jester, he had apparently missed the part where the martyr who had turned himself in was handed off to be taken to another area. Well, that was a bit awkward. So instead, he continued following them, in hopes that by keeping up with the little girl that the martyr man was accompanied with he would be able to find him once more. As he tailed the girl and her captor, rather inconspicuously he might add, he realized that stealth was slowly not becoming needed in this operation...at all. In fact, more dodging skills were being required as boulders were just flying all around this girl. With the rocks flying every which way and knocking out all of the guards hither and tither, Johnis had come to the only logical conclusion about what could have possibly been going on. She was a girl with insurmountable luck, and it just so happened that the Earth around her, for some unknowable reason, was having a hissy fit and just decided to vomit up boulders every which way. This girl just happened to not be hit by them and just so happened to have everyone barring her path get hit. With luck like that, she too, would be a great vassal in Johnis's great and glorious revolution against the empire.

As he followed her stealthily into the room she had barged into he then looked at the girl and pointed his stubby little paw at her.
"You there, girl with white hair! I require any and all information you have on the whereabouts of that ma-" he stopped mid sentence due to a noise he was hearing. The girl that the white haired one was hugging was letting off some sort of strained noise with water gushing down her face. Wait a second, he knew exactly what this was! She was crying!...Well this was awkward. He probably shouldn't have done that at all really. Johnis then thought on ways he could possibly try to mend this situation. Scurrying up and over so that he was on the shoulder of the crying girl, he patted her head with his paw, saying in a slightly confused yet trying to be comforting tone, "uh, there there. Everything will be fine? Um, buck up bucko." He briefly questioned why he was trying to comfort a girl he knew literally nothing about, but he was in too deep now. There was no escape for this rodent.

"So, you gonna do something or you just going to float there?" Lucien had turned around and addressed the griffon in the sky, reverting back to his usual way of speaking. Aside from appearing, it had kind of done nothing thus far, and Lucien gave it an expecting look.

From the back of the griffon, a pink haired boy had dropped down, rifle slung on his shoulder, as he looked at the group before him. They seemed to be...an interesting group no doubt. He had been tailing them for a bit now, and went back just in time to recieve orders to stop them...and he wasn't entirely sure that these people were some sort of threat to begin with at all. Well, threat to the goddess. To themselves, however, that was an entirely different situation. The blue haired guy seemed bored and uninterested in his appearance altogether. The guy he was tracking was looking at a white haired girl, with said girl looking...well she wasn't really. She was just sort of standing there not moving at all. Then there was a younger white haired girl who looked ready to keel over, and another young girl who also looked like she was in pain or something. Then there was the guy with the scythe...who was trapped...by a guy with a bow, who wasn't doing much else. Huh. Phantom was pretty sure that if they just left them unattended, the group would probably just self destruct anyway, but orders were orders.

    Clearing his throat, he said,
"ahem. I am hear on executive business from the great goddess, shocker, I know. Um, I'm here to tell you to stop searching for the hero. Or else, uh," Phantom raised a hand to his chin as he continued to ponder on this, not really sure of what the repercussions were. "I think if you refuse I'm supposed to stop you with force and then turn you in. But the choice here now is to turn yourselves in, I think," again, he didn't really know whether Sapphire wanted to jail them or just have them stop adventuring. Jail seemed more likely. "So yeah, just turn yourselves in now, it'll make the process easier and less painful for everyone. And it's not like you'll get executed anything. You need to steal nuclear launch codes or something like that in order for that to happen. Nah, just probably jail time, so no real harm to anyone right?" Phantom was pretty hopeful that they'd see his point...no he wasn't.

"Turn ourselves in? Are you nuts kid? Do you think I'm going to back down just because some little cherry with a gun told me to?" He then remembered that he had just backed down from a fight with Dane because a little ten year old looking girl told him to. Fuck. While Lucien wasn't really in the mood to back down from this quest of theirs, others didn't seem to want any more fighting at the moment. "Alright everyone, time to make a bit of a group decisi-"he was cut short when he turned around to see the god awful state their group was in, and how everyone was basically preoccupied with something. Letting out a sigh, he squatted down so that he was eye level with Audrey and Alisia and said,"alright girls, what do you think? Want to turn ourselves in to the cosmic police force or," he then pointed his thumb at the griffon in the sky, "go monster hunting?"

As the group continued to walk through the forest, suddenly a giant mouse had come out of nowhere and kidnapped Dale. Charlotte blinked for a second after it happened, trying to actually comprehend what had just happened. However, it all seemed perfectly and completely obvious now to her. Pointing her blade at the large rodent like creature before her, Charlotte proclaimed, "foul beast who takes it upon themselves to kidnap the unsuspecting, you shall be felled under the blade of justice! Prepare yourself vile creature!" With that, Charlotte charged at the giant rat, jumping in to the air and using blitz.

Lucia shrugged at Hasu's suggestion to just go with the flow of things, and continued to float around. She wondered what giant being would want to eat them...or could eat them at that, but she now had a better grasp on the situation. As such, she grabbed a nearby floating carrot and started...to much on it. While a bit unwieldy and difficult, the more she bit into it the less there was, and thus the carrot became easier to hold. When it was at an acceptable size, and more importantly, Lucia was full, she then looked over to Zwei and said, "I'll go and check the edges to see if there's anything around them to help us get out." With that, she used her carrot like an oar and started to paddle over to the sides of the pot.

Aoki wasn't thrilled that they knew nothing about the book, other than its name, but things like these couldn't be helped all the time. When Edric had asked if there were any more questions she shrugged and said, "none that I can really think of." She was about ready to get this mission started with and see just what the adventures a guild took were like. Also, the mission hadn't even started, and she was a bit ready to further distance herself from just about every other person she was going on the mission with.

As Zephine was settling down from the adventure they had just had, she noticed that there wasn't really much to do in this place, and decided probably exploring would be in order. One of these days. Simply because any plans she might have had were immediately disrupted by their boss man and some weird girl coming out of nowhere. The two seemed to be in some sort of heated fight, but Zephine was completely confused as to what was happening, even more so when the boss man used his orb to seal her away within it...they could do that? Learn something new everyday. However, they were to go and defend the world from angels sent by that woman, a goddess apparently, and why? Because she was one of those asshole gods who just wanted to see the world burn. Dick. Regardless, Styme seemed to be willing to think that they could stop this goddess in time if they kept going about their business as usual soooo, she would just go along with that plan for now. As such, she walked off to one of the worlds at random and appeared on the other side of the portal.

Once through, Zephine noted that the world looked strangely...not alive. Every aspect that was needed in order to be quantified as a world with life was there...it just didn't feel alive. Weird. Zephine noted that Star was also there and waved to her, saying, "hey there Star, so guess we get to go explore another world together huh? Seeing as its just the two of us, we might want to wait some more for some of our other team members make it through before we go trying to find this ruler of the universe or angel bent on...destroying the universe."

    • Stratos saw that his attack had virtually no effect on anyone, and Rinox himself just sort of ducked and swerved his body in any which way in order to prevent himself from being hit. While Stratos was about to go and charge at him, when suddenly Kel's descendant had decided to charge at Stratos as well. Looking at the gauntlet that was spawned onto his arm, Stratos watched carefully for what the attack might be, when he saw a blade of wind appear in the covered arm. Stratos wasn't really sure if this guy was serious in using wind against him, as wind was practically Stratos's domain. He did a quick backstep as the boy stabbed forward with the wind blade and created a separate current in front of him. The current spun in the opposite direction that Zephyr's blade spun in, causing the two to effectively cancel out into a light breeze as the two collided. Stratos then looked to the side to see Beuce effectively 1v3ing right now, and was probably in some sort of need of help. Spinning his keyblade and coating it in wind, he tossed over to the mob that was attacking Beuce in an effort to help him out. The keyblade would essentially keep flying around and dive bomb at people, much like a legendary bird that worked alongside a leader of the huns 300 years ago.

Stratos then turned his attention to Zephyr and started to run at the boy. He was standing in between him and Rinox, and would most likely make the fight already harder between the two if they were to collide. When he had charged within striking distance of the boy and looked primed to strike, he completely stopped short and leaped into the air, using a combination of both high jump and his wind magic to completely vault over Zephyr. However, once he had jumped clear over him, a large burst of wind fired Stratos back and downward toward Zephyr, and Stratos struck at the boy without facing him with a wind covered elbow aimed at his face.

    • As Lucien was ready to take on Dane, his readiness was slightly detracted from when Samsara had jumped in the way to confront him. Was she serious? It wasn't so much that he was surprised that she would think she could take him, as Lucien had made more of an impression of a librarian rather than a fighter. What surprised him was that she was defending Dane. The guy who had she known for like, what, an hour? Had done nothing but been an ******* to her? Showcased how little care he had for others? Honestly, her undying and unyielding loyalty to this man was a tad baffling to Lucien, but maybe she had just been always been a bit nutty. As she stated that she hated him, Lucien simply feigned offense as he said, "your words wound me so." Honestly, other than the part of her being a tad crazy, Lucien didn't really hate Samsara. And he really had no motivation to fight her, but seeing as she barred his path to Dane, Lucien would ultimately just toss her aside like a ragdoll before getting to the real fight.

Then something else came. A ranger. Not just any ranger. Sherridan, of all people. Lucien was somewhat baffled by his appearance, and figured he had gone down with the rest of Punchwood, but here he was. CCing both Dane and the mood. Then Audrey walked in to basically call of the fight and all the tension in the air had basically been lifted. Sighing, he muttered,
"for ****'s sake, can I just have one thing go my way here." As he shook his head in disappointment, and saw Bartholomew take action, which would ultimately lead to some sort of increased drama going on here but, Lucien did kind of ask for it, and he didn't specify a when so it was slightly his fault. Probably about 20%. Let's be real the fucker was going to do it anyway.

Sighing, he looked at Audrey, walked over to her and said,
"alright kiddo. The moods practically shot anyway, so, as much as I'd like to kick his ass in, I won't...right now...unless he attacks me in which case my hands are kind of tied." He then flipped the keyblade over and was now holding it by the blade, with the hilt facing Audrey. "Here you go kiddo, since the job I basically wanted to use it for is over right now it's all yours to keep. I can't think of anyone better to inherent this weapon other than, well, the wielder's daughter. Probably wouldn't recognize me as its master ever anyway, so no point in me holding on to it." He then pointed at the trapped Dane and said, "I'd also recommend staying as far away from him as possible for the rest of our journey, and I'd offer the same advice to you too Alisia, provided your bold and not stockholm syndromed enough to do so."

He then turned his attention back to Dane and said,
"now, as for you. While it is entirely too evident that our not so fated battle is not happening now, I can't exactly let you go off scott free. I mean let's be real, you are a proven psychopath who has no qualms with killing someone in your party or enslaving and beating another one. At all. Also you seem to have something out for her family in general," he pointed to Audrey, "however, we'll put to this side for now and I'll figure out what to do with you later because last time we were hunting for the hero the goddess sent something to stop us, and seeing as we've been meandering around for so long it's only a matter of time before she sends something els-" he was interrupted by a large griffon carrying two people on its back appearing out of portal in the sky, poised to take them on. "Called it."

    • As Charlotte struck at the man once more, they were soon interrupted by a rather large bird flying into view and blotting out the sun. When it had made its appearance, the man had disappeared and all they were left with to deal with was the bird now. If there were any doubt about it at all, both Ghost and Zavion had essentially both come to the conclusion that this was indeed sent by the goddess. The only problem now was how to deal with it. Which was not a problem in the slightest. As Xander had already taken to drawing the large bird's attention away from them, Charlotte had kept wings spread as she flew galantly into the sky, chasing after the bird. Approaching from behind it, she charged her blade with energy as particles of different colors formed together into a sphere like object. She then pulled her blade out of the sphere, causing the attack Prism Rain to trigger and fire off a slew of rainbow light bullets at the giant phoenix.

As they had continued down the passage, the one with the trident had spoken up and given them a plan. The inconspicuously named town of the elves as a point to retreat to? That did like the most favorable option in this situation, however, there still seemed to be a fair deal of problems with it. The goddess herself seemed to speak the concerns about neutrality with the elves, and how they would most likely be ousted from the village at a moments notice. The situation was much worse than that. If the elves had so much given them any sort of safe passage, and denied any of the Empire then it would essentially be grounds to assume that their stance of neutrality was broken and they would be ultimately destroyed. Granted, save for being nomads which would bring enough troubles in of itself, this was their best option. "There is still another pressing matter that must be dealt with. We need to find a way to deal with the Olympian Thrones one way or another."

"Well, that's simple," Ancel spoke up amongst them, "if we attack them, maybe with weapons if we're feeling ambitious, and hit them enough they'll just drop dead."

"Disregarding whatever comes out of that man's mouth," Ancel simply rolled his eyes at this, "we cannot keep this up forever. Eventually we'll be forced to face the Olympian Thrones if we are to win this war, and we need some kind of plan. As such, we should take care to study them when next they show themselves to us to find out any sort of weakness or vulnerability they might have."

As she had entered the guild, Aoki was in a bit of awe how massive the place was. Sure, on the outward appearance of a castle was pretty intimidating, but even that failed to capture the grandness of the guild...and the overall weirdness of it as well. Granted, if someone was willing to make their base a castle that was just sort of there...they were probably pretty eccentric people as it were. As she was walking around and taking note of all the kinds of different people, it was then that a job was being called for all the new recruits of the guild, which she had been one of at this time. As she walked over to the man with the job be dealt with, she saw a blond haired man just sort of walk in to listen as well. This was followed by two other people, one who seemed like a complete and total British Person...whatever British was. Then there was one last...person? She was a bit unsettled as the thing didn't really give off much of a presence, and yet was just so obviously weird. Ignoring this though, she turned back to Edric and said, "so, is there anything more we know about this book? Like, what it looks like for starters."

As Lucia had been going down this near endless slide, something really weird happened. Weirder than how she got onto the slide, even. As she was sliding down the chute her and her comrades eventually fell into a completely different area. No longer were they in the foresty setting of that mysterious floating cloud forest island thing, but instead, they were in some sort of place that resembled a building. And then they seemed to start falling off the slide as it ended. She eventually hit the area beneath, hard, and was a bit curious about where she was. Looking around, they seemed to be on some floating things in some oddly colored sea. "Wait a second." Lucia started to sniff around, and then looked around at what the group was floating around on. That being, giant vegetables. "Guys...why are we floating around in something...delicious?"

As they all walked through the portal and got back to the castle, Jackie noted that they were the first group to get back...again. Man, all of the worlds she went to went by really fast. She took this to mean that she was some sort of super awesome explorer that could deduce if their objective was there or not, far fast than any of the other groups could. Granted, last time she was the second group to arrive back...which meant she was only getting better at this adventure thing. As she entered the castle library, she looked around and saw Freya sort of just...being awkward and walking away but not at the same time.
"Yo Frey gal, the hell you doing?" She was genuinely curious as to why she was being so weird, when Blanc had tapped her shoulder. "What?" She looked at the man, who seemed to raise an eyebrow at her with a quizzical expression on his face. "Come on Blanc, what is it?"

He sighed and simply said the single word, "Goddess."

"Goddess?" Jackie put her hand to her chin and started thinking more on it. Tapping her foot as she dived further and further into her mind, she finally came across her answer. Her face lighting up she looked back to Freya and said, "RIGHT! Child of the goddess, that thing, man. Totally forgot about it." Blanc simply sighed and let her go on with her train of thought. Jackie walked over to Freya being eye level with her, and put her hand on her shoulder. "Look, I have no idea why you actually decided to join us on a quest to stop your mother. But, like I said earlier when were confronted with that woman. Doesn't matter who we were before we got here, we're party members now and, more importantly, friends now. And that's all that matters, soooo," she lifted her hand off of Freya's shoulder, pretended to zip her lips and then pretended to flick an imaginary key away and said, "your secret's safe with me."

    • After Lucien had told his piece about not fighting to the death here, it was more than obvious that they were not listening. He let out a pained sigh and had a mournful expression on his face as he looked away before the fight began. Whatever happened from here on out in this fight, was going to happen. There were any number of things he could do to stop it, but, those were against the rules. Not just the rules of the reality he was bounded in, but rather the rules of fixed points in time. Dane was going to fight her. Juliet was going to die. Alisia would kill her. And Audrey would watch. Everything else was irrelevant to this event. The only factor was when, and as all the pieces were in place now, and as the first given opportunity to do something was when it was taken, the when was chosen to be now. As the fight started, he did nothing but watch onward, and see the two fight each other will brutality and magic. While Dane seemed to have the upper hand, it was only inevitable that he would lose it, only to gain it back due to his own powers. Alisia running away was completely irrelevant to the event. As was Audrey running after her. As was Bartholomew's existence. As was Samsara's departure and return. The fight when ahead all at it was planned, and it ended with the doom counter hitting zero, thus killing Juliet.

This was, without a doubt, the worst part of Lucien's existence. Knowing things that he shouldn't, knowing how they happen. Knowing that whatever he does, it wouldn't change it. It was just a general curse to have, but it was only made more apparent and all the worse when it happened right before him. However, there was still something else he could do now. The event had passed, and another event wasn't exactly keyed in to happen any time soon. Which meant this was a flex point. One that could happen in any number of ways but still not affect the overall timeline. With a somber expression on his face, he walked over to the area where the woman had vanished from. With a somber grin appearing on his face, he simply said,"sorry to see you go Jules. Just got born into the wrong life I suppose. I'm not sure what kind of domino effect this will produce, but it's okay. Before long, your goal here will have been completed and your overall importance will probably manifest through that. Sorry though, I'm gonna have to borrow something first." Bending down, Lucien had picked up the keyblade that belonged to the woman. It had been a long while since he had actually held a weapon, but it was like riding a bike. Never forgot.

He turned to the weird fear guy and looked at him with a serious expression on his face. Speaking clearly, and in a way that he knew everyone would understand him, he said,
"listen, I know your presence so far has been either inconsequential or strangely helpful. So make it the latter for me, and keep Samsara busy because I doubt she's going to like this."

Spinning the keyblade in hand, Lucien walked with the same serious expression on his face, as he made his way over to Dane, who seemed to be beating down on Alisia.
"Quite the words of a hypocrite, aren't they Mr. Erapper. I mean, if I recall she doomed everything you wanted doomed, and even had the decency to not do it to you during her escape attempts. I mean, I guess of the many things she did do, the one thing she didn't do was not run away. Though, I'd say neglecting one of many is far more reasonable than neglecting a singular request that someone gave you." His serious expression then had an odd smirk appear on it as he said, "but hey, what's done is done. Granted, it was still to do it on your own time, probably would have been all the better for you, than on my time."

Pointing the keyblade of the fallen at Dane, he then looked to Audrey and said,
"it's alright Senka. I'm just gonna borrow Mommy's little toy for a bit. I'll be sure to return it to you or daddy dearest once I'm done here, so just bear with me for a bit." His attention then turned to Dane as he said, "and as for you. Well, I didn't like you to begin with, granted I don't like most people, but especially you. And here you are, just doing something that'd make me dislike you all the more." He then shrugged as he said, "now then, I can't kill you right now, against the rules an all. However, there's nothing stating I can't kick a few pegs up your ass. Now then," he pointed the blade at Alisia as he said, "I'd appreciate it if you didn't use your little death machine over there. After all, this works for both of us. I don't have to fight under a time limit, and you get to not be labeled as the guy who has to rely on a little girl to do all the major killing for you. That is, unless you're too afraid without that little safety net." His expression turned to a cross between sinister and serious as he brought the keyblade back to his side as he said, "so, shall we dance?"

    • Blanc held his ground firm, even as Lexcifur's guardian was getting ready to strike at him. He was not going to budge for this construct of darkness no matter what, though he did not have to lift a hand to stop it. It merely stopped on its own. Jackie stared in awe as the entire scene had unfolded before her, and her involvement in it had been practically zero.
"Wh-what exactly was that?" That was the only real thing she could say to the scenario and was still kind of on edge about Lexcifur's eye looking all weird and fucked up. It was then that Freya had mentioned that she didn't want to take the chance of running into that black haired woman again, and that they should leave, which Jackie could only agree with. Nodding her head, she said, "ye-yeah, there's nothing left here anyway, so let's get going back now. Honestly though, we should probably leave the world as fast as possible. If she could just portal in here, then she could probably appear out of nowhere at any time during our trip here. Blanc." Really, she was more so eager to distance herself away from that woman as much as possible, as there was no telling what would happen Lexcifur if he saw her again.

Jackie was ready to go in and kick this black haired woman's ass, when suddenly Lexcifur had told them to leave. Well, that was anti-climatic, for her at least. For him, things were about to get intense. However, she decided to at least allow her teammate to go and do the fight himself while she and Blanc just stood back with Freya. There wasn't much either of them could do at the moment but watch, and the both of them had varying reactions while watching it. Jackie was getting really into it, seeming slightly restless as she was moving in place and having a sight of excitement and surprise on her face as different things happened. Blanc just stood there...watching...not much different from the norm really. Not really much to do until Lexcifur did something...weird. Jackie got a bit of an odd and unsettling vibe from Lexcifur as he seemed to be in pain from seemingly nothing, so much so that she missed Freya calling the black haired woman Auntie. Blanc's expression, as well, had shifted to one of concern as he saw the dark figure come out from the brown haired boy.

As Freya ran over to hold down Lexcifur, Jackie herself was quite confused as to what to do. However, Blanc, had walked over to step between both the black haired woman and Lexcifur. Holding out his arm to his side, as if to bar off the darkness consumed boy from going towards her, he had a stern and serious look on his face as he looked at him.
"Stop." These were merely simple words, not to be confused with the actual spell. "Whatever that is right now, it is not something you should be using." He glanced to the black haired woman, then to Jackie, then back to Lexcifur. "As was said, we will not let her take you back, but I will not allow you to go on any further like this." He wasn't entirely sure why this darkness around Lexcifur seemed so evil and unsettling, but he was intent on not letting him use it.

As Stratos stepped out into the ring alongside Beuce, the two of them were apparently to go against a good five other people. While the ginger female seemed to be the same, sans the guns, the ginger male seemed...different. He didn't know why, but he seemed like a completely different person while still being the same at the same time. Weird. Then there was the blue haired kid who had a magic sword who seemed vaguely familiar as well. He didn't know why he seemed that way, but something was off about him as well. Ah well, that could be sorted out later. The fourth of the people, he had almost not noticed at all, and he seemed to have something else about his presence. It too, was familiar. All too familiar. The pieces were sort of rummaging around in his head until finally they connected to reveal the boy's identity. "Hey, you're Kel's kid right? Man, haven't seen that guy in ages. Guess the blue hair or white dyed hair wasn't hereditary...actually, what is up with your hair it looks really weird." After he asked Zephyr about that, his attention then finally stopped on the last of them. It took him long enough to realize, simply because the pacivity of the man sort of gave him no real presence either. Summoning his keyblade out to his side, he pointed it at the scarf wearing man with a serious look on his face as he questioned, "and just what the hell are you doing here?"

Rinox shrugged, and with a smirk on his face replied, "why, I'm here to look for the hero of course. Though, I suppose we got a little divergent from that goal from the onset."

Stratos gritted his teeth as he continued to glare at him.
"Who would have guessed, that my luck today would just be this high. That the moment I decide to fight against you guys, you of all the people in the entire universe show up among them." A breeze started to flow around the room, causing Stratos's jacket to flap in the wind, and wind gathered around his keyblade. "This time, I'll beat you for sure." With that, a large gust of wind erupted Stratos forming an Aeroza barrier around him and his teammate. He then channeled the wind across his keyblade as he stayed in place, swinging furiously. Each swing he took created a large of compressed wind, compacted enough to cut, that, while it was aimed at Rinox was kind of large enough to be a threat to every enemy in the immediate area.

Rinox with a simple smirk just replied, "my my, how scary you're acting right now." Despite the clear aggression towards him, he hadn't really reacted much nor drew his sword yet.

After both of the demons had been vanquished, Stratos had simply been standing there, having Karina kind of slung over his shoulder to make sure that nothing happened to her. Needless to say, he was a bit surprised when she just decided to fire off a spell from her unconcious body, but that could just attributed to...keyblade magic? Whatever. "Nice work there guys!" He called out to them once they had won. After he said that, Base walked over to him and offered him a handshake. Accepting it, Stratos said, "couldn't have done it without you either, Base." He then needed to figure out a way to get this girl up and awake, but that chain of thought was interrupted by a man in a white coat stepping in and monologuing. As he showed the last of the notes to them, Stratos started to think about it. Why were the notes important? Well, obviously it was to fix the problem that was with the brooms back at the mysterious tower. However, it was somewhat more than that. As he thought more on it, Glen spoke his piece, to which Stratos then responded to the man with his own. "Those notes are important, not just because of a promise we made with someone, but for what they represent. We all worked hard to get those notes, and not one of us could have done it without the other. So those pieces are important, because they are a physical representation of all the bonds we share."

As the group had continued to walk through the forest of Galuna Island, they had come up with the idea that there could be more then just one person causing the curse. This actually seemed to be more of a viable thing then just a singular person, as it would take a frighteningly powerful person to do this all by themselves. It was then that Dale had said something about a divide and conquer strategy, which sounded good in theory. Granted, they knew nothing about the place they were going to or the people they were fighting, so isolating one person from the group would be much more difficult in practice. Then there was the issue of a degree of stealth being needed which, again, she was fairly certain they would not have that luxury. Thinking more on the approach they could take and just what could be waiting for them there, Charlotte then heard Ander say something about Dale knowing rare and lost magic. Charlotte was a bit curious about this, but it turned out that Ander seemed to be confusing rare with something else. After Dale had made his somewhat aggressive point towards Ander, Charlotte felt the man would still need further explanation
"No Ander, what Dale uses is not considered rare magic. While it is completely different from the magic that you or I currently use, that is because it is known as specialized magic." She then continued to explain the difference.

"You see, common magic is just simple things like a basic cure or aero spell. It is something within the realm of possibility for any practitioner of magic to learn. Specialized magic, however, is something that you need formal training in, hours of study in, or just a natural affinity for. While yes, Dale is able to use ice magic that none of us are able to, that's simply because he trained in it. If you so wanted to, it would be all within your grasp to learn it as well just as easily, therefore there's hardly anything rare about it." She then continued with, "now rare magic is somewhat different. While it is something that can be learned from the aforementioned sources, it's ultimately a lot more powerful and much harder to find. In fact you probably wouldn't even know it exists until you find someone who knows it," it was then that Ander put himself down, and then mumbled something inaudible, only for Charlotte to say, "not really dumb so much as confused I would say. Nevertheless, Dale most likely wouldn't know anything, at least specific, about any lost or rare magic." She then turned back to Dale and said, "aye, taking out their leader would probably be a favorable first move, though it might be a bit on the unrealistic side in terms of actual execution. Not to mention, we might be better off searching for and finding our lost guild member first to confirm her safety and bolster our own."

As the group had continued to slide down the slide, Lucia listened eagerly to what Hasu had to say about his home town. While his home didn't seem to be the best place to live in, it sounded like Hasu actually had a pretty solid life after he left. Journeying around, seeing all kinds of things, meeting all kinds of people. Sounded like quite the adventurous life he had here. In fact, he reminded her of one of her old friends from home who was always going off about adventures. Then there was Veilen who seemed to have a pretty normal and average life himself, and the only thing about his hometown that seemed interesting about it was the tourist traps. She were wondering what those were like, but then turned her attention to the more pressing matter at hand. They were sliding. They had been sliding. For awhile now really. "So, how long do you think this goes for?"

    • After Lucien gave his little schpeel about what he expected of the others in this group, Dane decided to do a little schpeel of his own. He went to go and start talking about how his life used to be before he became the ****** muffin that was alongside them today. It was a sorrowful tale, a compelling tearjerker that just made everyone sympathize and ultimately feel bad for the man. Lucien knew for one his heart was most certainly weeping right about now. Regardless, after the story was done, he basically gave Alisia the advice to be like him...which would more or less involve her beating him within an inch of his life. The thought of that happening in an of itself was a bit entertaining to think of, honestly. Regardless, Juli, that multi-colored haired person who had been doing jack diddly, finally decided to go and do something. After boasting about how easy he'd be to beat given she was there to fight Chaos, a fact that kind of annoyed Lucien in an of itself as well, she then decided to go pick a fucking fight with the guy. His face was becoming more visibly annoyed by the second as he the upper part of his nose to comprehend just what was wrong with everyone here. Well, that was easy answer to find.

"I said one thing. One." He paused and looked at them as if they were idiots, trying to see if they would remember it. "To not kill each other right now. After we search this world, go fucking nuts for all I care. Rip each others throats out and burn the other on a stake, but as I said, do it on your own fucking time. Not now, ya know, when we're kind of supposed to be looking for something and you all decide that the best way to find it is just murder each other. So you," he pointed at Juliet, "calm the calamity that is your mammaries and just deal with him for I dunno," he thought this world would probably go on and extend to another page, two at most, "another 10 or so minutes. And you," he pointed at Dane,"I'd really appreciate it if you don't kill someone or something or get either of your groupies to do it for you until an actual threat to all of us shows up."Lucien sighed after he said this, for one simple reason. It was nothing more than a wasted effort, and the worst part of his job was coming up soon.

    • As Jackie had lamented over their bust of a search, Lexcifur had started talking only for him to get interrupted by someone coming out of a dark corridor. She looked at the woman who had emerged, and then started to ponder on it for a moment. There was something familiar about her. Well, appearance wise she looked like no one Jackie knew, but there was just a vibe coming from her. As Lexcifur said the word "mom", directed at this mysterious woman, Jackie was still in pensive thought about just why she seemed so familiar. She looked at the rest of the group, and started to look at them. While only seeing the back of their heads, she couldn't actually see the distinctively similar eyes both Lexcifur and her had, but what she did notice was Freya's hair. It was partially black. This woman's hair was black also. It was then that she came to an astounding eureka moment.

This woman was indeed, a mother to these people. However, Lexcifur and Freya were close friends growing up, and maybe Lexcifur's mom died which caused him to be all super edgy and stuff. This would then lead him to live with his friend, Freya, where they would develop romantic feelings towards each other later in life. However, the person who took him in, was this black haired woman. Otherwise known as, Freya's mother. So why had Lexcifur called her that? Simply because he lived under her roof and she probably replaced the void in his heart as one. Not to mention when the two love birds finally overcame the hypotenuse of the love triangle that was Zavion, that would be her official title to her- wait the black haired woman just said she was sent by Freya's mom...Which could only mean one thing! Hey man, Jackie wasn't going to judge others for loving who they did, after all, society had progressed to being accepting of all sorts of people.

Anyway, she continued to listen to the exchange between the two, and it seemed like the woman was here to take Lexcifur back with her. But, that would mean she would split apart part of the party. And they weren't done with their quest yet. She just couldn't tear apart this adventuring party apart mid quest, that was just a dick move. Thankfully, Lexcifur seemed to think along the same lines, as he was openly turning down this request. He then said something about Sapphire, who was obviously the prior mentioned person who sent this woman here, and not caring about what she wanted at all. Wait. Sapphire. That name sounded familiar. Extremely so. She thought of the gemstone, but it was hard for a gemstone to birth a person...granted she had heard stories of planets being able to, but that just sounded ridiculous. Then there was that hit classic game from centuries ago, that was being remade and re-released in other 5 months. No, unless Freya was part robot, there was no way that were true either. Then it hit her like a ton of brick that just fell down from the stratosphere landing on a chunk of ice.

"WHAAATTTT?! Your other mother's the goddess of the universe!" Jackie was beaming up and down in excitement when she said, "that is so awesome. That makes you like, a goddess yourself right? Man that is aweso- wait a second." She then thought about it for a moment longer. "We're trying to stop the goddess. Who you are the daughter of." She turned to Blanc and said, "does that make her our enemy?" He shrugged and shook his head, not really knowing himself. "Ughh, this is so awesome and so conflicting at the same time!" She rubbed her hands over her head in frustration as she tried to come up with a solution, thinking as hard as she could. It was then when she looked back at the black haired woman and suddenly that train of thought left. Drawing her katana she said, "right! You! You're a more important problem to solve with a much less difficult answer to find." She looked back to Lexcifur and then back to the woman when she said, "regardless of who these people were, at this point in time they are my party members. And when one doesn't want to go somewhere, we all respect that decision. So he clearly doesn't want to go with you, so I sure as hell am not going to let you!"

    • As she pointed out the cave, Lexcifur here, well he seemed to be a pretty rude person. He also seemed to have gone through hell and back. She had no idea what that actually entailed in, but she decided to trust his seemingly veteran adventurous sense. It also appeared that there were traps there. How clever. That meant that there must have been something worth looting here. Or an ancient entity capable of defeating a goddess. Either or really. Regardless, the quartet had marched on merely towards the cave, and once inside it, there was a single narrow passageway that stretched on for barely any distance at all. In fact, the whole cave area was really underwhelming, all things considered. Not to mention when the passage way ended, it simply lead into a large, circular room. Something much like that of a dome like area really.

While there were a few baubles here and there and stuff that was put into spaces carved into the wall...well that was it.
"Well, there's a whole lot nothing in here." Her voice was kind of unimpressed and monotone as she said it, and then looked to the others. She went over to all of the stuff in the wall and kept trying to move around and such to see if it would open any sort of secret passage, but sadly, there was no such long. Letting out a sigh of boredom she said, "well this a big let down. I guess if this cave's a bust, you want to keep searching the rest of the world for anymore or what?" She would normally be gung ho with adventurous spirit, however, this sort of dead end had put a bit of a hamper on it. Ah well, maybe there was something left in this world yet.

After having dealt various blows to the man of light, he seemed to fade away into naught more than a mere apparition. It was then that he had proclaimed that they were under some sort of illusion spell, and was basically talking about how much the people deserved to die and how they were basically just going to let him do what he wants. Completely disregarding the tribunal session that had just occured, as she had figured it was, once more, just some sort of weird illusion mumbo jumbo that the man had pulled, he was not going to let him get off the hook so easily. Knowing that it was an illusion, and having a natural resistance to any sort of light based magic, Charlotte was able to see somewhat through the illusions. It wasn't as if they weren't there, just not in as great detail as they normally would be. However, large dragon of darkness had attacked where the man ended up being, shattering the illusory world around them. Once the attacks had connected with him, however, he ended up managing to get behind them in what appeared to be an instant, then binding them with a ring of light.

Once again, due to her natural resistance to light, she was managing to struggle out of it better than the rest, though in the end, it didn't matter as she was soon freed by the caster himself. He then materialized a keyblade and started to go on a rant about it. While he seemed to have no intention of hurting them, while they were still hunting for the hero at least, the reverse was not true. She pointed her blade, Caliburn, at the man and said,
"regardless of your own intentions, your heart is that of a wicked one, and I will not let it run free to simply kill as you see fit. Your light is not that which brings justice, merely nothing more than senseless genocide." With that, she completely disregarded what he had said, and simply made her wings of light appear and strike at him with another sword slash.

    • As the group continued to walk through the forest, Lucien was becoming ever more irritated at the entire situation. It was exceedingly obvious that the tensions between that entire trio that was Samsadi, Dane and Alisia was super high. Between Little White's grand escape and Chalk's extremely climactic capture, they were clearly the most cohesive and well put together group of people. Not to mention, these people who were clearly the most intelligent of people ever couldn't solve the brain teaser of why Alisia would try to kill the person who was impeding her escape from a man who seemed to both treat and label her as a slave. Honestly this was a mystery far too difficult for even the most powerful of supercomputers to deduce. Regardless the group had continued walking along and the Alisia had gotten a bit rowdy as well.

He let out a sigh as he turned around and walked over to the two. Wanting to make sure the two of them didn't cause any further distractions and or kill each other in the process he looked at both of them."Alright listen up you two, I'm just gonna give you a bit of advice to make this go by way smoother for everyone here, first," he turned his gaze to Samsadi, "you, stop trying to act like you care about her well being. It honestly doesn't matter whether or not you do, she hates your oh so wise teacher with a passion so trying to get in good is only naturally going to make her distrust you more." He then turned his gaze to Alisia, "and you, Little White. Honestly I get where you're coming from, wanting to kill these people is only natural, and wanting to escape from your apparent slavedom. Only more so. However, if you could, could you please refrain from team killing. Right now we're on my time, and I don't want to waste my time dealing with people team killing, because then I'll get mad at the killer, and that's no bueno for anyone. Now on your own time go nuts for all I care," he looked at everyone else and said, "this is just general advice for all of you really."After all, there was no point in preventing it when he wasn't around, since most of them were probably going to die anyway.

After having taken a rather roundabout and blood soaked path to get to this area, Ancel was the last of the people to enter into the room of the goddess, where they seemed to be talking about a few issues. As Mr. Three Pronged Stick began to speak up, Ancel just gave him a pat on the back and with a cocky grin on his face he said, "please, we don't have to run away from them. I'm sure, that we're pretty much all at least, somewhat really strong," bent down and pinched the cheek of the crippled girl talking in a way one talks to babies saying, "yes, even you are probably a little murder machine aren't you?" He stood back up and turned to face the trident wielding man saying, "so, why not just stay here and give a good show for our goddess. One that starts with two sides entering, and one non-Imperial one leaving."

When he spoke about this, Iota had stepped forward and gave him a glare with her singular visible eye.
"Do you understand just who the olympian thrones are, and just how horribly outclassed you are?"

With a shit eating grin on his face he looked at her saying
, "Yeah. They're people. People with pacts if you want to be really specific. And you know who else is? I am, and probably," he pointed at the others with some distinguishing feature or creature saying, "they are too. And if there's one thing I know that a person can do, it's be killed. And you know what's really awesome about pact makers? You can kill one and two things die at once."

Iota simply started to walk away from him as the goddess opened a secret passage to exit through, stating,
"if you wish to let your foolhardiness get you killed, then so be it. But try not to let others pointlessly die." With that, she walked off into the secret passage.

Ancel stood there, rolling his eyes.
"Buzzkill." Having processed what the goddess had said, he then looked over to his snake partner on his shoulder and said, "hey Medea. What does 'saving people' mean?"

The feather serpent let out a sigh as she said,
"it means to make sure someone isn't killed."

"Oh." Ancel thought on this for a few more moments until finally he said back, "and what's the point of that?"

"You really are a hopeless one, aren't you?"

Ancel simply shrugged as he then heard the masked swordsman speak up about the crippled girl. Rolling his eyes, as he was speaking, Ancel started to walk over to the girl to hoist her out of her wheel chair, but someone seemed to already have the same idea as him and beat him to the punch. So instead, he just picked up the wheel chair and started to walk along with everyone. As he passed the man he said
, "don't hurt your brain to much over this. Might ruin that pretty face of yours." He then looked at the tentacle monster that was just sort of floating around saying, "well, that's a new one." With that, he walked through the tunnel alongside everyone else.
