My dentist is called Mr. Burns, need I say more?
That's ok x] I was just pointing out the other thread as you asked for it ^^
Indeed there was Right here ^^
I am completely innocent of any and all crimes ^^
ARGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! *dies* *ghost floats outside* *burns in the light* x.x
I think you will find this contract will show that I have been married to Mish for the past 19,733 years :3 *flashes official looking contract*
I think this is a really good move on the part of the Catholic Church. It shows that the divide between science and religion that many people believe to be there isn't. The Church trying to modernise it's beliefs could never be a bad thing, could it? BBC link
I was meaning to a certain extent, giving details like your address and telephone number is just stupid >_> It's asking for trouble. But your name and age is fine IMO. People should be smart enough to not give out sensitive personal information online >_>
28200 .............and it's mine. Haven't had one of those in a while ^^
28198 Hey peoplez
I also have the same problem. My mother is obsessed with my internet safety. She doesn't know I've posted a picture of myself, or that anyone knows my name and age. She also doesn't know that my bebo account is public not private. I think she is just worrying over nothing. I mean, surely if someone was that determined they'd be able to find that out anyway? White lies tend to be your best bet in this sort of situation. What she doesn't know can't hurt her =/
Some of the posts in this thread seriously damaged my health ><. There should be some sort of warning for people entering the thread "This thread may permanently damage your health" x.x. I am often disgusted by some peoples spelling on the internet. I think that if they can't spell English words they shouldn't be able to use English as their language. It's an insult to the language when it is abused so badly >_>
CtR made mine for me AGES ago, it's just too pwnsome to change ^^
If I am being completey honest, I think you are giving him personally too much credit. I doubt Bush wrote any of his speeches. I doubt any politicians have written their own speeches for a long time. All he did was deliver him and if the Bushisms calender is anything to go on he didn't even do that very well -____-. As I have already said about the war, I agree that Saddam was bad for the people. But the reasons for invading were just wrong. If they hadn't blatently lied about the WMDs people might have been more receptive. I see it as either for the oil or to clean up the mess America left after the Gulf War. Most of the sectarian fighting in Iraq is happening because Saddam is gone. He was keeping the different sides from killing each other and now that he is gone the country is falling apart. Another point I can see in Roxma's post is all of this about Bush being on his own. He does nothing until he has been advised by his advisors (of all people :P) and even then all he really does is relay what they have decided to the people. Do you really think if Bush decided he wanted to declare war on France, his advisors would allow him? The position of presidancy is more about being a figurehead than weilding much real power. Kind of like the Queen, although she has next to no power anymore........... MONARCHY FTW!! o/j :P
I don't think I have ever had a really bad exchange with my parents, I have argued with them over small things. I agree that some (not all) parents watch too much tv and read too many "parenting books". They think that their innocent little child is going to turn into a demon that starts sleeping around, drinking, smoking, doing drugs and staying out to all hours. Really they are just scared. Scared that they are losing control over their child and that they can't keep you safe anymore. My mum won't let me go out until she knows as much as she can about where I'm going, who I'm going to be with, when I will be back, if I need picked up, if I can get a bus or a taxi etc etc. I know it is because she cares for me and worries about my safety but at the same time want to be independant enough to look after my own safety.
I think it is unfair to the point of forcing people to buy half the different platforms out there to continue playing one series. I can see they may be experimenting with different methods of delivering the series, but still they are going to lose part of their market. Not everyone can afford to buy all the different platforms, not everyone is old enough to have a job, not everyone has enough time to hold a job and even people with jobs still may not be able to afford to pay for the different platforms. But I suppose a series does need some variation, I mean if all their games came out on similar platforms (i.e. PS2/PS3) the gameplay might get a bit stale =/.
