George Bush as I have said before shouldn't have followed in his father's footsteps. He really doesn't seem suited to be president. Presidents are supposed to be charismatic and inspiring, i see him as neither -____-.

His family supported the Bin Laden family, the supposed 'enemy'. They even flew them out of the country >_>. He ran several oil companies that all folded before becoming president (all paid for by his father).

Also, you seem to be assuming that he made all of these decisions on his own. He is not a dictator (although I'm sure he wouldn't mind being one >_>), he is advised as to what decisions to make. He probably rarely makes decisions on his own, and the options he is given are not created by him.

As for the war, although Saddam may have seemed to be a terrible person, he was a pretty good leader really. He stopped the different sides from ripping each other apart and now that he has been removed the country is falling apart and our troops are taking the brunt of it.
I also think that going in for the oil was just selfish, if they were going to war they could at least have been honest. They might have actually got some support and respect then.

As for dragging the UK into the war............no comment >_>.

His track record on climate change has also been pretty poor. Even if it is not as bad as scientists first predicted something still needed to be done. He showed his opinion on the survival of the Earth when he refused to join the Kyoto protocol
Sigh, as per usual I know there is more I want to say but cannot think of what it is.

Birth rates are dropping rapidly in the 'West' i.e. Europe and America. People are healthier and live longer, large families are not needed (and are really too expensive to support). People used to have lots of children because many of them would die of disease before they reached the age of ten.

Death rates have slowed due to the fact that more people are living longer. Medicine is keeping those alive that would have died otherwise and most people are just living healthier lives.

In developing countries there is still the need to have lots of children as so many die. They are also needed to help grow food and make money to support the rest of their family.

    Found here.

Finally people can receive international recognition for their gaming ability. As you can imagine the US came first, but a UK entrant won gold for winning the C&C 3 Tiberium Wars contest.

Anyone here thinking of entering in the future?

I love Robot Chicken with a vengence. Nothing is safe or sacred with Robot Chicken around ;DDDDD

My favourite episode has to be either Mario going to Vice City (xD) or the part with the tooth fairy and the mutiple endings :P

This is quite old, although there are random outbreaks every so often that put the thought of it back in everyone's minds.

Really, they already have vaccines to innoculate the workers in key industries so the country will keep running. If it did mutate into a strain which could pass from human to human, it would be quite dangerous as I think the motality rate was somewhere around 50% if not higher =/

But they wouldn't, they are going the wrong way around the world to fit together the same way.

Interesting idea. It would happen again although it wouldn't look the same as you would be putting the pieces back together the wrong way round. New mountain ranges would be created along the collision lines. New inland seas and lakes would also be created. It would be interesting to see maps in 50 odd years and compare them with the maps now to see if there is any noticeable difference (although it is unlikely >_>)

I consider that an insult to 8 year-olds everywhere.

Although I think it is a bit harsh, speaking to an audience of millions would be quite nerve-wracking. He's bound to slip up somewhere in his speeches, although he does seem to do it with some frequency =/

My father owns a Bush-isms calender, some of the stuff Bush has come off with over the years is shocking. I actually have to re-read some of them several times just to understand what he was trying to say ._.

Argh don't post her. I have subscribed to this thread, and posting here gets my hopes up >_>

I am still patiently waiting for the next chapter, although there is no rush as I know what it means to have so much else going on in your life you can't get time to write ^^

    Suicidal

The term is commit suicide, not do suicide. It is also something to be taken lightly, or to be joked about -____-

Anyone maybe thought she might have an underlying mental condition? The discovery of the porn may have just been the trigger. Happens all the time.

The thing is they haven't found any new evidence, it has just taken 10 years for Mr Al Fayed to get his inquest. He is convinced his son was mudered, and by extension Diana. I also think they should drop it, dragging it all up again isn't going to help anyone. It won't bring her back and it won't make her sons feel any better.

And on the subject of her sons, William (the elder son) and his ex-girlfriend were "aggresively chased" by paparazzi in cars. I think it was very poor timing on their part, it draws too many parallels with their mothers death. I think papparazi should be banned >_> Official photographs are all that is needed.

You're too smart for your own good.

Generally, intelligence is a good thing, but you always seem to take it too far. Sometimes, when you start a conversation, nobody else in the room can even follow what you're saying. It's probably better that way, because if they did reply to you, you'd overanalyze everything they said, and come away convinced that they're either in love with you or plotting to ruin your life. (Nope – they were just making small talk!) We know you prefer five-syllable words, but we've got a one-syllable suggestion: Chill.

    I know the feeling >_>'
