Well kinda hard to investigate with nothing more to go on. Chervalier posted today so that's something. As for knowing much else, we are kind of stuck at an impasse until someone does something. Oh well.
Sexy jeans. V is for Victory! I'm going to go make sure the girls around here are wearing their jeans right. BBL!
This is true. These deaths are pretty orderly and neatly carried out. Don't worry Zombie. Sooner or later you will be revived.
<TWTNW> Xigbar sat up in his chair as Xemnas appeared all regal like. Now they were going to get down to business. "Demyx left through a portal. His destination was Destiny Islands but I'm not entirely sure he made it there. Some force interceded him but apparently let him go." Xigbar wondered how Xemnas would take the news. It was never good to assume anything when it came to Xemnas because it could go right or horribly wrong to do so. "None of us can apparently leave but him and I am not certain he can actually return. We seem rather trapped." He began to wonder now where Larxene was. It would only be a matter of time probably until her behavior was reprimanded. He understood some of her rebellious nature and just the desire to be free. But there was something more when it came to her. He hoped she'd get up and get down here soon. Right now there just weren't many Org members even awake and whatever might be coming for them was definitely not a good thing. <Twilight Town> Repliku watched as DiZ went on his way through the portal and noted Namine's reluctance. "Why don't you want to go? At least they like you. I spent most of my time being their enemy." It now sank in he was going to go meet Sora and Riku again...and would Riku like hate his ultimate guts? Did he hate Riku? A ton of emotions poured in to a heart that was supposed to be fake. He sighed softly even as his fists clenched. "It'll be okay. If this is what we have to do, we do. What are you scared of?" He turned then and looked at the boy who had strolled up and asked about the weather. "We have to leave but if you want to go along, just follow. Of course, it's to another world so you may not want to!" Repliku snickered as if that was the funniest thing in the world to him. <Destiny Islands> Riku watched out of the corner of his eye as a Dark Portal formed but then turned abruptly as the Cheshire Cat was spewing out poetry like a water fountain. All he could comment on after was "I'm not the leader." He never wanted to 'lead' again and was more than happy to let someone else do it. However the cat's rhyme made him think. He didn't trust the Cheshire Cat much. He remembered him from Wonderland. However, he didn't exactly dismiss him either. The cat always seemed to know some of the most intricate secrets out there while others were trying to put pieces together. It made sense what he said...if he was relating it to the Organization. "..Thanks" he mumbled at nothing and then turned to look at the portal. Sora frowned as the Cheshire Cat appeared. "That guy is such bad news. I'm not sure what to think every time he shows up. I didn't know though he could leave Wonderland." Sora turned though and looked at Demyx. "Hey...Roxas is either with me...or maybe he came back too like you did, Demyx. Don't be sad, okay?" He patted Demyx on the arm. "Either way, I'm sure Roxas is just fine and he wouldn't want you to worry about him." DiZ walked through the portal to Destiny Islands. The pleasant heated air, the tropical trees, the calm gentle wind..the sound of water lapping against the beach. He took a moment to look around the area as he stepped away from the portal and gave a nod. It was a beautiful place that had he been like his former self, he'd have loved to come visit and vacation here. So this was where Sora and his two friends had grown up. This is where Xehanort had sent Kairi as a child. This is where one was made a Keyblade wielder...yes, so much history in such a tranquil place. He turned to look over at Sora, Riku, Kairi and then their compatriots, Demyx and Sombre. "Greetings" he simply stated and gave a courteous nod of the head. "It is good you are all here, though one of you, admittedly, I am rather surprised to see here." His eyes came to fall on Demyx.
What he said. My point was if more people actually -asked- these questions to people instead of stopping at 'what religion are you?' then we'd understand each other a lot more. I -do- ask people these things because if they are to be friends, I'd like to know we have -some- things we stand familiar on and if I don't stand on the same ground, I'd like to know what is offensive etc to that person. Some people do actually like to get to know people more than just what religion they are. It is not a way to tell much about the person without superimposing some stereotypical view. I also believe that most people -want- to be known for who they are and not -what- they are. That's how real friendships and peace begins. Tolerance sure, but also knowing people for who they really are.
Of course it has less meaning but when someone uses it to say are 'people born evil' it is a simple thing and a classification. People can't be classed that easy no matter how much they try. Only the prejudiced and closed-minded or unknowing try to do that. The word evil is still what it is. As for what you say secondly, it's in the Bible. All those things that would be highly frowned upon today are in the Bible as just things under the name of God. If those acts had been carried out on someone when not under the direction of the deity, it would be considered a sin and thus evil. Evil is a human word to describe what it does...sinning against God. Yes, people can use it now in other ways such as saying 'I have an evil headache' or 'oh that was so evil!' when carrying out some prank. But when someone says an 'evil person' they aren't thinking of the word in that way. I think all people should know the origins of the word because what they are thinking of is someone truly who is horrible, an abomination of wickedness, someone who can never fit in society etc. And -you- say no divine meaning was behind what they did and yet it is clearly written in the Bible that it was the will of God. You are going on the point of exactly what I was making. We cannot trust that someone can just say 'I did this act in the name of God' whether in the past OR the present. We can only judge people's natures by what we can actually perceive and if some want to make an opinion that things are 'evil' that will vary. There are Christians out there that believe all sorts of things are evil, such as gays, girls starting their periods means they did some unchaste thing, blacks can be evil because of the way they've been described, Muslims are evil, having heavy metal music is evil, etc. The word is not a safe way to judge anyone by because it in itself is corrupted by the very fact it is up to the person to decide what he/she deems is evil and NO society can come up with a way to make everyone come together on it. After all, no one can even come together exactly on what is the proper way to worship God and those not Christians certainly don't care. So again, you didn't answer the question on why you don't care if someone is born evil or not. Can they be -born- evil and what does that exactly mean to you? You go on about perceptions but you miss the point that you absolutely are supporting my dispute in the first place.

I'm going to so far go with it that she's not. Cocohints accused Amber. The Kira sent me a message in this thread. No, I'm not the Kira but if someone wanted to waste time accusing me, feel free. Clears up another death spot and/or proves my total innocence. :p So no one's died yet. I am kind of thinking the kira though is baiting me which leads me to think of Chervalier but I am not sure. It doesn't appear Cherv's been on lately though that could also be a ruse and Cherv could be using MSN to contact the Shinigami and coming in here invisible to read the thread. Or anyone could for that matter that has seemingly been missing. Right now, it doesn't seem that Goimez, OblivionRoxas, advent and some others are even around as well. Guess we're waiting to see who 'dies' with all the accusations made. I don't want to help out the kira anymore though by giving ideas. I've pretty much stated formerly some of the options that could be going on with the deaths issue.

We sure have quite a few people who are alive for accusing so it remains to be seen if they are walking dead or not. We've had answers back on a few people that has taken some suspicion off them. The game will probably be long like this since so many people are joining in now and we are having to investigate and make guesses more than before.
Locking as requested by the thread creator.
We have a lot more people this time around too so it will move slower. Kira may indeed be inactive for the moment but we'll see.
What is 'evil' PAW? Evil by meaning is sinful, morally apprehensible, wicked. What is a sin? It is a crime against God. What is my problem with that? It was not a sin to murder thousands of people under the orders of God. It was not a sin to rape, make slaves of people, kill off men and male children in front of their families, take women forcefully as wives, pillage and plunder other domains, etc, as long as it was all done under the order of God. However, Cain murdering Abel over jealousy was a sin. Eve and Adam eating forbidden fruit that sat on a tree in their garden was a sin. Doing a sin is an evil act which is against God. That's what it means. Now if someone goes to court for murdering someone else, do I want that person tried because he/she committed a sin against God or do I want that person tried because he/she did an act that is a crime against humanity? I want to see them dealt with because they've killed off someone wrongfully, hurt the loved ones of that victim and left them destitute. What if, and it's been done a ton of times, someone says God told me to kill the person? I still think that person should be punished for the deed done and removed from the streets before he/she could harm another person. Now say on the same note that the person who killed had to do so out of self-defense? It's still a sin and a crime against God to some. However, is it really that or is it an act of self-preservation to stop a mad man swinging an ax? I certainly would care to answer if people were judged to be determined 'evil' at birth because a whole bunch of negative things could happen. Those found to be likely to be 'evil' from birth...what kind of life do you think they would have? It's not like some fanatic religious people haven't tried this route before and offed 'evil' kids for being possessed etc when they were just kids. The term 'evil' is outdated and if someone believes in God, surely if some criminal can't be tried or punished on earth, that person would get what's coming to him/her in the afterlife. We can only go off of what happens on this world what we have to work with and that's physical and tangible evidence. If someone gets away with something and a person is religious, they will know that person will get what's coming to him/her. If the person isn't religious or doesn't have an active omnipotent/present force in his/her belief, the law is all that may protect that person or give some justice and closure. It would be different if those who murdered, raped etc were struck down by lightning after and those who weren't were deemed forgiven by the entity(ies) but it's just not what happens. Hence, my problem with using the word 'evil' to label anyone.
If someone says "I believe in Science" they are giving a shortcut answer. It doesn't mean the person isn't also Christian or any other belief. It doesn't automatically mean they are Atheist. There are quite a few people in the science fields that are Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, Atheist etc. Science is simply examining that around you and coming to understand how it works and how it may have happened. Also a hypothesis in science equals what others outside the field call a theory. A theory in science is more grounded and not just an educated guess. What we can see, feel, cognate out, ponder beyond that of someone else's written word etc, we do. It's nowhere a religion since religion always says this is how it is and that's that. Science won't be that way or it would become corrupted in what it is actually trying to do. When examiners stop examining, science is over. When the Science Guy went to Texas to do a presentation he was booed off the stage for saying the moon reflects light from the sun instead of casting its own light. That's a belief, sure, but it is also one that has been proven by using instruments, studying it and scrutinizing the details. The reason it is argued? Because a -book- written a few thousand years ago says it's not so. So one analyzes and examines as much as we can something before making it a common known thing that is very likely while another side says a book that is superior to all says it's one way so there you have it. That is the difference. Anyone of any religion can be scientific in nature. After all, science is an elevated form of philosophy, which religion also could find its roots in it. The difference here in saying it is a religion is that science constantly challenges each theory and law, each hypothesis. If something is wrong it's tossed out for the better thing. It's studying from a physical plane and not wandering off into the metaphysical because we simply can't answer these things unless somehow we become that advanced to pierce through the veil and then yes, science would delve there too because we simply want to know. Would it tick off some religious people who want things 'sacred' and they have to know their way is right? Sure. However, science isn't 'sacred'. And the knowledge is there if we can find it to study and that's really in the end what it is all about. Anyone who asks 'how does this really work?' and actually researches for answers has a cognitive mind and can say they've used science to some degree.
My point is that -everyone- has an opinion already gathered if you use the religion as a way to base an opinion off someone. Either positive or negative based on your own fundamental beliefs so that is not a fair characteristic to judge people. Taking religion out of it and looking at what the person by asking them other things helps much more. Just taking Christianity..if someone says he/she is Christian, you will already think up things either too positive or negative to be fair. So if you move past that and actually ask some other pertinent questions you will come to more answers. Someone saying they are Christian doesn't mean they totally adhere to every word in the Bible. Also, they may believe in God and Jesus and not go to church. They may be zealous in nature and follow the book to the 'T'. They may have taken what they feel is most important from the book. They may be criminals and feel they will be forgiven in the end as long as they ask forgiveness to Jesus for their sins. You still don't get a very good idea... So instead of focusing on that avenue why not ask the person such questions as... Is a lie acceptable if it helps save someone's life? When is stealing okay? Is murder ever justified? What are your thoughts on the government? What do you think about animal rights? What are your thoughts on offshore drilling? Were you raised in a good family setting? Would you cheat on a spouse or gf/bf? What are your things you hate? What is your stance on religious views others have? Do you like or hate what humanity has done in recent years? What is your stance on war? What kind of music inspires you most? Do you draw or do some other artistic talent? etc. These kind of questions delve more into a person rather than taking the shortcut and just automatically labeling someone based off a religion because even if someone identifies himself/herself as belonging to a religious stance, that person can be quite different from an 'assumed' stereotype. Getting viewpoints of people helps you find similarities to yourself whereas just going off a person's religion may isolate the two people. I hope that makes more sense at what I am getting at.
I voted for Cocohints this time around. It was so hard to decide!

At the moment any way. >.> Awwwright, so I think here's the current list to work with. It would be nice to eliminate each person who 'hasn't been around' but I think we ought to be careful with it. I'm pondering putting Goimez in blue since he hasn't really been back here and yet he's been online doing other things in the Spam Zone. Some others haven't really done anything at all either that we can notice, like Love, OblivionRoxas, Firekeyblade. I'm going to for now leave them black because they could be around still. Debating though and I think I'm down to 3 names, though pondering a couple others.
No, I would think the kira probably could kill the accusers at any time unless ICSP says otherwise. You can even time kills so I would think if kira comes about and wants to off any accusers, they've taken their chance. However, if he doesn't kill them, I don't see why they can't accuse someone else when they know the first person accused is innocent. So it makes me wonder if since we have survivors... 1. The kira let them live to spruce up things and make it more difficult. 2. The kira is gone away and hasn't logged in or checked the room for a while since the accusations. 3. The kira has set them up for a timed death. 4. One of the accusers is the kira trying to toss blame around. After all, there's no rule against a kira accusing. So that's where we are at now I'd suppose. See you guys tomorrow. I'm off for sleepies for work in a few hours.
It's a working theory that has some possibility. Unfortunately, we can't be sure yet. You may want to browse around and see some of the other theories on the Apprentice, Terra and Xehanort here. There are some interesting debates that have gone on concerning the theories.
Good night all. zzZzz. Hope no one dies while I'm at work in that Death Note thread. whee.
The kira could time a kill or decide to kill someone instantaneous if he/she is around when an accusation is made. If the kira isn't around, guess the accusation can't be made. However, I'm thinking if someone accuses and lives, the person can accuse someone else since well, they are still around. You just can't accuse someone again until the answer is given on the last person accused.
If you are referring to the apprentice that wears a Dark Riku sort of costume with a helmet... the theory that he is possibly 'Xehanort' that Ansem the Wise took in has already been thought of. He is a likely candidate as is Terra right now.
