As the barrage of incoming bolts approached the two, Fate readied herself. "It's fast enough. Now let's go after him!" Fate said. However, right before she could move, Marluxia had brought them to a weird dimension of some sort. "Marluxia, where did you take us?" Fate asked, looking around.
Fate held Bardiche up to block Thoma's incoming attack. She could feel the blast hit them, yet there was no pain or even any force behind it. She then saw the number above Thoma's head, a black 52. "That must be Marluxia's Defensive ability he was talking about... Fate thought. Right afterwords, Marluxia placed the same effect on Fate, her number a black 50. Fate was about to lead Thoma to U-D, when the girl that he pushed away, Subaru, came back and snapped his weapon in two. Fate assumed now would be the best time to try and reason with him. "Thoma, you have to listen to me! U-D is growing stronger and stronger the longer we stay here. You have to come and help defeat her!" Fate yelled, hoping she would get through to him somehow.

The Unbreakable Dark is free, and is gaining power. We need to defeat her fast, before she grows too powerful!" Fate could tell he was trying to hold back violent urges. She looked to Marluxia. "If he comes at me without saying anything, do it." Fate whispered.

Fate then flew out of the Cradle, assuming Marluxia was close behind, and towards Thoma, making sure not to go too fast, as that could startle him. Unsure of how to approach him, Fate decided to call his name. "Thoma...Thoma Avenir?" She said, trying to sound as non-intimidating as possible (Which quite frankly wasn't that hard for her). "I need you to come with me...okay?" Fate stayed at a slight distance, not knowing what could happen.
