This topic is old and there will not be an English release for the game. We lose. We live. If you want the game, buy it and get Swap Magic. That's the best you can do. I am going to close this since it is not happening and most people have accepted it.
When Riku, Sora and Kairi began their 'adventure', Destiny Islands was destroyed so the parents all through KH1 obviously thought nothing. At the end of KH1 they are returned and yes, probably worried. However, in CoM as Sora loses his memories, which CoM only happened 2 or 3 weeks after the end of KH1, so too would his parents or anyone that knew him. They'd forget about him and Riku would become a vague memory. Kairi was sent home in KH1 so she too would have had her memories dull. It's not until KH2 which is a year after KH1, that Sora regains his memories and people in other worlds such as Leon even make a comment that they had forgotten him for a time. Kairi recalled Sora when Axel showed up so it is safe to say by then, Destiny Islands people were also probably restored their memories of Riku and Sora by the time Sora and Roxas were rejoined and the memory transfer was complete. We don't really get to see the reactions of the families of Sora, Riku and Kairi when they get home since all along it seems Nomura wanted to focus on the kids and not their parents. This doesn't mean, however, that Terra, Ven and Aqua are in any way parents to them as all three would be too young and just not feasible to do so. BBS takes place 10 years before KH1. So, yes, despite the fact that Sora and Riku were missing for over a year (not 3 years), the parents had no worries through much of KH1 since they were destroyed... then had some worry time at the end of KH1 to CoM...which CoM was 3 weeks later. After CoM which only lasted a couple days at most, Namine was then having to begin repairing Sora, which took around a year's time. The parents again would have forgotten about Sora and well, had barely the ability to recall Riku. So the worry may dim for them or at least especially Sora's parents. We know he at least has a mom, but she could not recall him. KH2 probably takes a few weeks as did KH1, so all in all, the panic, worry time probably wasn't so dramatic though I'm sure all 3 kids had a lot of explaining to do when they arrived home at last.
I kind of laughed at this...since your choices of Cloud, Leon and Sephiroth were made..and then you said Sora has a cocky issue and an attitude problem. Cloud and Sephiroth (Leon less than Squall so I don't so much feel right counting him in this) are both very cocky. Cloud is also super emo and has an attitude problem that gets him into trouble through FF VII and Advent Children. He shows the quality a lot in KH as well, focusing on himself and his problems and not paying attention to his friends but to make dramatic emo comments until they have to dive in his way. Not saying I don't like Cloud but his attitude fits more of what you are picturing Sora as. Look at how Cloud hates Sephiroth no matter what etc. If he was pitted against the Org and not so self-absorbed, he wouldn't have bothered to talk to them which Sora did try. I didn't find Sora arrogant as much as I found him to be clueless at times and caught in over his head where he had little choice but to make decisions. I do agree he has a lot of growing up to do but he's also supposed to be a hero for Disney and FF, so he has to be lighter of heart.
I'm not sure the Keyblade breaking there is more important than the fact Ven couldn't move because he was frozen. Also, it's later in the game when Terra asks what happened to Ven and what Master X did with his heart as Ven is down. The game is going to be interesting since apparently in the latest Nomura interview, the 3 (Aqua, Ven and Terra) start out together but depart going separate ways for their stories. Obviously though all 3 or at least one or two of them, encounter each other later in the stories and react to them. The Keyblades are also said to be more connected to the spirit (which I take means Soul) of a person rather than the Heart, as others said here, which might give a reason why they are lacking keychains. I still call them Keyblades though. And yes, one shattered but with the spell that was used and then falling all that way, Ven being frozen and unable to focus as he was falling, maybe those are all factors why it happened.
On the lips or cheeks. In quite a few cultures men kiss each other on the cheeks if they are close friends or family.
