Eat your hunger, problem solved
I agree completely with this x] As far as I can see the Family section has been giong along merrily with very little regulation when some is sorely needed in certain areas. Are members limited to only joining a certain number of families? I personally think that you should only be allowed to join one, but I think joining two should be fine. But anymore than two just defeats the purpose of having families in the first place.
I agree that Bush may be uner-estimated, but it doesn't take away from the fact that he has a poor grasp of the English language. Also, about being voted in twice. That has nothing to do with his inteligence and all to do with the intelligence of the voters. Also, his election team had a lot to do with it as well. I hate it when people think that leaders do it all on their own, when really they do very little.
Nooo, lol. They don't want to put it in Russia itself. They want to put it in Europe, some of it being located in ex-USSR countries. Russia actually has every right to be peeved, as the rest of the world should be against America on this too. If this missile defence system was installed the MAD principle would fall apart. America could launch nukes at Russia but Russia's would be shot down. They would become effectively defenceless in that respect.
This is just parents blaming everything and everyone but themselves for their mistakes. There was a woman whose son was morbidly obese and she said "I try to give him a balanced and healthy diet but he keeps asking for hamburgers and I can't say no. When I don't give it to him he takes it anyway" She is just lazy, she can't be bothered to do what is necessary to help her son. She is a bad parent, simple as that. Then when something like this comes up people like her go "Oh that must be why my son/daughter is so overweight because it couldn't be me, I've done everything I can". I think they should have brought in the legislation making childhood obesity a matter of child abuse. Some parents just do the easiest thing, not what is best for their child. They make me feel physically ill =_=
In an active investigation yes that is what happens. But the way in which I mean is where they passively invade yoru privacy. They target no-one in particular, they just scan over all of the traffic looking for so-called 'hot word'. If your information communicaiton is tagged and read. I would call that an invasion of privacy without a justifiable reason under law. I go back to the quote: "Those who would give up a little liberty to gain a little security, will deserve neither and lose both"
Interstellar travel is possible just not in the way Star Trek may have made you believe. It would require massive amounts of energy from massive engines which would increase the mass which would make more energy required etc etc. Also the time factor. Humans only live so long. A concept was developed where families were put in a self-sustaining ship. This ship maintains its own environment with air, food, water, heat etc all maintained at habitable levels. Then the families and crew would live on the ship over its journey. Many would die from natural causes as they reach the end of their life span. But the point is the families have children, who have children etc. So the descendants of the original crew reach the destination, hence why the ship would be known as a "Generation Ship". Other methods such as using 'wormholes' would allow us to bypass space and travel almost instantaneously, but we are centuries away from that technology, if we ever reach it.
World War 3 is coming, as CtR said, it is just a matter of when. Tensions have been building in the background from teh last WW, the visible signs being the Cold War. But the tensions are still there, whether we see them or not. But most world leaders are intelligent enough to see that another World War would not help, the world economy is in enough trouble as it is (US housing market/mortgage troub le specifically). Also, the MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) principle is still recognised globally (for those who don't know it means we fire our nukes, they fire their nukes and everybody loses). My main fear, and probably the fear of many leaders, is the actions of independant groups within their nations. World War I was sparked off by a group of dissident students who shot Archduke Franz Ferdinand dead. The actions of such a small grouo of people paralyzed a continent and set the world back many years. They even indirectly caused World War II to happen (as the after-effects of WWI allowed Hitler to rise to power).
That sentence made noo sense, or it's just too late for my brain to work x.x And sorry no hug, I be taken >_> <_<
I hated it for the 'random factors' which meant that no matter how much more shoot you had than the keepers catch you never scored x.x Other than that I thouroghly enjoyed it ^^ Then came X-2 >_> *shudder*
Makes sense to me too ^^ Nice pics L_F, I like your dress sense x]
Even Michael Jackson refunded his fans

You are still here =_= Therefore that statement was false >_> *paradox* This statement is false *\paradox*
Ahhhhhhh, a good does of utter and pure randomness 8D
He would be in the Disney Channel when it gest nuked, I'd say that would kill him first =/
I am going to see them live in December :P WOOOOOO! It is going to be amazing :D
As White_Rook said it means God From the Machine, as was used in the game Deus Ex and in the film Dodgeball (on the treasure chest near the end of the film)
He means that the main way they 'track' people is they search forums and sites for people talking about illegal activities. Then they monitor certain people more closely. Sometimes they just search for key words being used such as 'bomb', 'Islam', 'Al Queda', 'suicide' in combinations. They are then flagged by the system and investigated. Most would be false alarms (i.e. someone talking about something in the news or something) but there are the few occasions where they may come across a genuine perceived threat.
"Those who would give up a little liberty to gain a little security deserve neither and lose both" I think government agencies in the interest of security have forgotten about privacy and liberty. Passively checking all phone calls and e-mails (apparantly they do) for certain key words is a gross invasion of privacy. Tracking all that you do on the internet without a warrant (i.e. an acceptable reason under law) is just wrong >_> But I agree that some level of internet tracking has to be in place, but not used as much as it is now.
