These kind of operations, as the report said, are very close to passing into the realm of entrapment. I mean really, was this man likely to do anything of the sort if the topless woman hadn't been there and encouraged him? Quite a lot of people would do most things with encouragement. This is a pretty lazy form of crime fighting tbh. Forcing people to commit crimes just to arrest them. I blame quotas *shakes fist at quotas*
Good points x] I just get really peeved when I hear someone say they are speaking American. It is not a separate language. It is a dialect/offshoot of the original language english. Lol sorry for concentrating on the u thing, I have a bit of a pet peeve for that xD
You do realise that "The Man" was the government which is in turn politicians, therefore the same thing =_=. The point of life can be to muddle your way through, keeping your head down and "keep on walking/swimming". You don't ask questions, you don't make a fuss, you just live. It can also be that you live life to question everything. You are never happy with anything, you keep pressing for more. But this stops you living in the now, always looking forward for meaning stops you having the thing you are trying to understand, a life. Lol, heroes FTW. You can't have a life of meaning and a life of happiness, it's one or the other mate ;D (I do accept that the above post may be full of crap x])
I wouldn't say it's a sub-language as such (lol even though I chose yes in the poll xD) but it is not equal to English. As White_Rook said it is almost certainly a dialect. I technically speak Mid-Ulster English which is also a dialect. I remember my uncle and his english wife were on holiday with us and we sat and explained lots of words we took for granted as being English to her as she had no idea what they meant. But what I absolutely HATE is when people start trying to separate American completely from English. Just because you fail to accept u as a letter and lots of words were changed so as to differentiate the language of the victorious rebels from their defeated (with help from the French =_=) captors. The American method of dating is being used where the month comes first. Completely pointless in my opinion. Smallest denomination should always come first, that being days. This way makes no sense x]
The reason suicide was considered a sin is because it is taught that God is the only one to have control over when people live or die so killing yourself would be doing Gods job sort of =/. In days gone by people who killed themselves would not be buried in the churchyard, instead they would be buried at a crossroads so that when their soul rose out of their body they would become confused and lost and be doomed to wander the Earth. Technically if God cared enough He wouldn't allow any human being to reach such a low that they even contemplated suicide so the problem would never arise. But hey that's just my viewpoint *contradictions*
