If God does exist, I don't think he would be angry as such. More indifferent =/ If someone as powerful as God would be able to wipe us out if he was angry. All we seem to be experiencing is neglect. Like he created us, got bored and moved on leaving us to fend for ourselves. How else can you explain a 6 year old boy dropping dead in Primary school for no apparant reason, minutes after his mother left him there? Or the 9 year old girl killed on her way to school when a house exploded as she walked by? Random acts of malevolence and destruction =/ (Looking from the point of view of a higher power)

This is a very good point. I believe the reason we are seemingly no longer evolving (although there was a report which I saw which said that development of the human species had gone up like 10 times over the last few hundreds of years [ugh wish I could remember the exact details x.x]) is because we have taken control of our own evolution. Natural selection through survival of the fittest no longer applies in the developed world. People with diseases caused by genetic errors now live long enough to have children which passes on genetic material which in the past would eventually die out. This means that weak material is staying in the gene pool, thereby weakening the human race overall.

The Battle of Britain was the decisive battle. If Britain had not won that air battle then the UK would have been invaded and probably taken over by the Axis forces. The resistance in France would have collapsed through lack of support and all of Hitler's forces would be concentrated on Russia. I would also like to point out that America came late into both World Wars. This caused many unneccessary deaths and made the war last longer than it should have. As far as I see it America would not enter a war it did not think it was certain of winning (Is it true that America has never won a war it started on its own? Because I'm pretty sure it is =/) Also the main reason Hilter lost was because he tried to fight on two fronts. He was doing fine on the Western Front then decided to take on Russia. This bogged down his forces and weakened his overall strength. Meh, not much point dwelling on what ifs. All they do is make you realise how fragile the present is and the future is going to be =/
