Their life together was destroyed in the name of a study (that they were actually dropped from before its conclusion).
Yes, Christianity is technically a branch of Judaism. It only became Christianity after the coming of Jesus (before then "God's people" were the Jews). I just realised something, when I think of the observable "effects" or "influences" of God the only I can see are on the small/micro scale. Like in my own life, I can see the coincidences and things. But when you look on it on a big/macro scale it starts to fall apart. So maybe God is a personal thing. Or maybe I need to stay away from the keyboard ._.
Yep, and yet they tend to be ignored by most preachers. Mainly because they would never work nowadays. That is why I dislike organised religion. It's a complete pick and mix. People take the bits they like and forget the bits they don't. How many gospels weren't deemed "suitable" enough to enter the Bible? How many of them are sitting in the vaults in the Vatican because the Church didn't want people to read them? You never know what fundies are capable of, that is what is so scary about them =/

Lol it ain't the last post on my page =3 Ok I'm bored now >_>
How were they created by people who are sick in the head? A perfectly healthy child dropping dead (post mortem results were inconclusive =/) and the house exploding was an accident (the people living in the house were an elderly couple). And no God did not bless me with those things, my parents did. I have managed to live my life without going to church every Sunday, and I'm still pretty well off. And anyway, God is supposed to love all. He is not supposed to be hateful or vengeful. He is supposed to care and I don't see that happening very often. I am also agnostic, I despise organised religion. I believe that if God does in fact exist he would not require us to be told what to do by another human, we would be able to reach him on our own. I believe it's called Spirituality lol. But although I believe the concept of God to be completely illogical and riddled with contradictions, I am still unnerved by the coincidences in my life. Where things happened that although they seemed bad at the time, ended up making my life better. I can't explain it, but I'm not resigned to saying it is some higher power >_>
