I just swapped to IE to check and I agree it is bad. It hurt my eyes trying to read the names of the threads in the Spamzone as their varying lengths made them all over the place.

So you are comparing a massive multi-national company worth billions to a private individual who could still be at school or be working to make ends meet? You can't expect that off of someone, you should be grateful for the fact that he keeps the site running at all. It's not like he has to. Although, if it were possible, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt.
And are any of you willing to foot the bill for this? Servers cost money you know, spdude does not have to do this. The only way he might do it is if they become so bad it is impossible to get on.

Gross-simplifications and stereotypes are the problem with this argument. There are plenty of 18 year olds (and younger as well) who are perfectly mature enough and sensible enough to not overdo it with drink. Likewise there are plenty of 21 year olds and older who should never be allowed to drink or still aren't mature enough yet. Raising the age will just increase the amount of illegal use as more people will want to know what the fuss is about. Happens all the time.

I highly doubt the world will end because of this prophecy. It may end in 2012 for other reasons. Also, define the world ending. There is a difference between humanity being wiped out and the world as we know it ending. One could be good for us. The other good for the planet lol
