Death: 9:20 PST. Near (Haseo), who solved the case last time, doesn't get to live to solve the case this time. At 9:20 PST, he happened to be playing with toys in the passenger seat while driving home. Unfortunately, the car was careened into and Near is rushed to the hospital. Going into the ER, a simple procedure of stitching up a chest wound goes horribly wrong and a scalpal doesn't go in someone's heart that way...does it?

Just so you guys know, for those in the future who respond to this... The question is asking what would -Sora- pick if he had the choice. Not what you would pick. So based on the type of character he is, what would he want to choose? I always think he'd pick the sword, toss the shield. Also, I agree with what smiles <3 posted for what he'd more than likely choose as answers.

No, the Shinigami eyes though are more controlled here as in the Kira can't use them unless cleared by the Shinigami, so there's no penalty for it. I see Cocohints lurking so I'll add her too and maybe she won't die first this time. *hug*
