If no accusations are made, the Kira gets shinigami eyes to kill off someone as a freebie as you came up with. If the Kira however fails to be productive in stalking and kills no one, waiting for an accusation, that kira now suffers too so it will encourage people to work a bit more productively. Basically this ups the stakes on the game to make it harder for the kira and the detectives since it seems some things in the last few games are getting mighty predictable. Also, we don't want the game to stagnate so this will help people put their heads together more as far as detectives go, and the kiras will need to do more too to keep the game moving. I hope no one thinks I added the new rules to be rotten or something. It really is with the intent of picking up the game and letting people participate more and not just have the game die around them so they are bored.
I've also added a new rule regarding the Kira and lack to kill in a day's time to keep balance with the other rule. The rules posted above are current and should help move the game better and still keep some intrigue and well, motivate the kiras as well. Hope these help us out more to keep the game going.
I'm not sure we need a new thread or not. I am going to revise a rule though to give the kira a bit more of a chance and we really need new members. Revising the thread -may- get us some new recruits to play. I take it that is why you are asking for it so if people want that, we can do it. One of the rules that is going to be revised though is that from now on, unless we get a lot of people in the game, if there's 12 and under on the list, detectives must post evidence on why they are accusing a person. That way it makes the game a bit more challenging when there are less people. When there are more, that rule of course will be rescinded. Accusation DarkRequiem0 is escorted down to the police station, treated to waterboarding, humiliation tactics of standing nude in public and other such things until they realize they are questioning for the kira and not a terrorist. He makes the comment that he didn't even get to kill anyone yet so what the hell??? After investigating his house, the Notebook is discovered under some dirty socks and they take it, locking it up in a secure vault with laser tripwires around. However, once again the Notebook gets stolen to be given to another willing soul... Well, this seems to be getting too easy now and predictable. The kiras need to be more active it seems or people are just picking who's not around automatically. I will have to think on the strategy here before choosing a new Kira. In the end I guess the main problem is we need more people possibly to play. :/ Welp those interested in playing can post up a new list for round 13 while I scheme.
There are some very intelligent cats out there and then... kind of like people. Intelligence so varies in the cat world.
I'm pretty sure Marluxia's is Plant and not death. Any of the Nobodies can kill with their elements so it just isn't an 'element' in the KH universe. Also, "light' that Roxas has and Darkness others have isn't really 'light' as in illumination. It's more of a life energy. Just my thoughts on it. Also, I'd put Zexion's more as a mental thing but I suppose shadows works. I'd have said more like Telepathic domination for illusions. But I do agree with the fact Nobodies probably cannot reproduce etc since it seems they are stuck in the forms they are in that do not age and their bodies are actually composed of Darkness and another 'element' of existence. Since they aren't necessarily biological anymore with blood etc, it would seem silly to think they could reproduce, much to the sorrow of many fanfics.
Balls of yarn have one weakness. Cats. Then again...balls of yarn can defeat cats by them rolling around and getting stuck in it. This never seems to happen to my cat though. Instead the yarn just goes everywhere.

The Nobodies are intelligent on their own. This is what Saix makes clear. They are not the same as Heartless as in being mindless minions. All Nobodies, even Creepers and Dusks that are the lowest, can think and also speak more than likely through telepathy or altering their forms to possess mouths to do so. As for the hierarchy, the lesser Nobodies do seem to acknowledge the higher Nobodies as superiors. However, the absolute superior would be Xemnas. Axel is an example here that he was linked to Assassin Nobodies but when he betrays the Organization, he is forced to also fight them because he cannot control them or convince them to stop, and there are a fair share of Dusks there as well he cannot exert control over. My guess would be that any Higher Nobody could have commanded Dusks or Creepers as Axel does control the Dusks at the beginning of the game to steal the photos etc. However, at any time Xemnas, being #1 could command the lesser Nobodies to not acknowledge that higher Nobody they were linked to, as was the case with Axel. I am guessing for communication it is highly likely that the Nobodies have a form of telepathy they can speak to one another since some Nobodies clearly do not have mouths unless their shapes are altered to do so such as was the case with Vivi. Also, the one Nobody that speaks to Roxas seemed more telepathic as well. I'm sure the Higher Nobodies can talk to them and be understood just fine but the lesser Nobodies do have a disability when it comes to speaking to others outside of their own kind, which is why Sora and others would never really understand them as they would not be receptive.
Nightwish is also great. So is Within Temptation. The music just blows me away at times.

Yeah the new version kind of killed my theme too so I went and put on a new one. Give it a month or two and if the theme you had was popular, the person who made it may update the theme to the current version. It's happened a couple times I've noted on a particular theme I like. The one I have now is alright for the moment though as I wait.

I believe that the claims Hitler may be gay were propaganda as were some of the claims that the Nazis galore were all into the occult. There were high members in the SS into it but the vast majority of the SS were not, nor was really Hitler a strong believer. In fact, Hitler killed off a person that did an occult ritual on him that he was 'linked' to, which if he strongly believed, he surely would not have done so. I doubt Hitler was gay because he did have a steady relationship with Eva Braun and he also sent known gays to the concentration camps, considering them as worthless, regardless of their position in the government, and genetically inferior as he did Jews and Gypsies etc. They were not going to help in the Aryan race goals he had set in mind and at the time, being gay was considered a sort of disease or mental derangement. Keeping in mind that also those who were mentally and/or physically ******ed and handicapped were also killed. Gays were viewed on their level as just not being productive to reproduction etc and in the way so they were cleaned out. Hitler did 'lie' during his time in office of course, and also exaggerated quite a few things when it came to the Jews. He set up a lot of propaganda pertaining to them and it was not very hard to do because the area already had a mistrust of Jewish people. His other goal was to deal with stamping out communism, which he loathed. Dissecting Hitler can be a fascinating endeavor but although he was deceiving and he used much of his brains to maneuver himself into the position of power he would achieve, I could hardly call him a fraud more than I can any dictator that rises to power. There's something that enables that person to have the charisma to do so and the environment has to merit the need for such. Germany was a hurting nation and he was a former soldier and at the time of his bid for power, the Germans were still angry and suffering over the loss in WWI which was largely blamed on the Jews in the government at the time. There was contempt as people did not feel they would have lost the war had there not been negotiations that forced the soldiers home early. He used this to help fuel his campaign and weaken the German higher government of the time. Yes, Hitler failed to get into the Vienna Art Institute because his artwork was considered sub par by their standards. However, I am wondering how this makes him a fraud too. I would have thought more that would be picked on concerning Hitler is the fact he was thrown in prison for some of his radical maneuverings. However, the man clearly was a thinker, where he lacked in some other areas and he used his brain. He was all about strategy and to get the votes, he actually went out and campaigned through towns and cities that had largely lost communication with one another due to the horrible situations and economic loss of the time. This was one of the main reasons he won votes because he would tell one city what it wanted to hear and go onto the next saying to them what they wished to hear. He was deceptive, yes, but he also had his goals set early on and came up with a strategy. Being committed, he drew in others to his goals and also hanging out with the right people certainly aided his endeavors. He was elevated and built up, yes. The whole German culture became a field ground for all sorts of propaganda, but I cannot label him a fraud as we can look back and see what he condoned and some of these things were pretty laid out even as early as he came out with Mein Kompf. Some of the Germans were larger than life, to include Hitler, but this is what happens when fanaticism and zealotry take hold of a people. Dismissing the lies and getting to know the 'real' people as we can is a difficult prospect to do because of the lies and exaggerations told by the German media as well as the Allied media. Hitler's beginnings certainly did not show where he was going to end up as he did seem somewhat to be a failure at quite a few things, but I don't think to this day we should discount that he was intelligent, fanatic himself, and sucked in a whole nation that was desperate to get back on its feet after the WWI reparations that sent them into poverty. It's for this reason I can't call him a fraud. He in the end was an answer, albeit a bad one, to the problems Germany faced. It is also to be noted that after WWII is when the war reparations act was repealed and altered because losing countries simply in desperation may just turn into another sort of Nazi Germany scenario.
I do not agree with 'designer babies' as far as looks goes. If you want a baby to look good, get with someone who looks good and have a kid. But, it is what will happen when such a thing is probable. I think that some things such as hair color or skin color later on could even be changed as the child becomes an adult with how much they are learning currently. Designer babies for appearance could come out flawed and well, it is controlling how that child looks which could bring about a new mental condition for children subjected to it and also parents who demand more out of their children. I think it would be better that some things be left to nature in this regard. As for intelligence or enhancing a baby to receive traits of different muscularity and potential etc, I think again, the odds for such can transpire by simply doing what nature asks of you and choosing a strong and intelligent person to mate with. There's only so much altering genetics can do without taking from someone else entirely. A gene pool is a gene pool. What I do agree with though as far as genetic research goes would be the weeding out the illness process. I.e. if someone is likely to pass on heart disease or some other genetic deficiency that is likely to cause the child to suffer, I see no reason why this couldn't be removed for a better gene trait found in the parent. Surely, if I knew I would pass on such a condition as heart disease, Multiple Sclerosis, a skin condition like Psoriasis, etc, if I had control over it, I'd want it removed to give the child a better chance at survival. I think this should be the main goal of genetic altered children. There are some viable reasons as mentioned above why I don't wish to see babies designed to be intelligent, potentially athletic etc. Some reasons really do come down to the mental expectations parents will put on children. The cost for having a child with a potentially higher IQ or physical stamina etc would be that parents paid for it so they would be placing high demands on their children's success at life. The child becomes a factor of being guided and owned more. We see this behavior already with parents that push their children to go all the way in school or physical activities or acting etc. The reason why? The parents want the children to succeed and spend some money to do it and expect money back through their children's efforts because the kids already look great or have that potential and the parents were not so gifted themselves. I think we'd see a lot more of this faulty behavior if this genetic designer activity were to happen commonly. It's just part of human nature for some people to have these sorts of delusions that they merit expectations on others for doing something for them. In the case of these kids it would be that they spent the money and not just the other excuse that they birthed them. Also, it takes the child's personal identity away from him or her. Think about what it would be like to be a 'super baby' compared to others whose parents couldn't afford such. At first, these kids will be treated as weird and freaks and as time goes on and more of them are produced, other parents will feel compelled that they must do such a practice or else their kids will be inferior. These kids will either grow up snotty or disillusioned. I do not think it right to put such a burden on their shoulders. Some kids truly already deal with enough and this is just another way parents and others can control them when they will want to be their own selves. There is a fear factor as well that some adults may react poorly and some may even come to hate the children produced this way. Also, we consider the use of steroids and other enhancing physical drugs illegal and don't want it seen in our Olympics or sports. Why would this be considered any different in the end? I think it spells out more trouble than it's worth. So as far as I can see, the best 'designer babies' truly would only merit greatly if they are designed to eliminate certain likely genetics that cause them physical or mental ailments which would impede them in life.
