Can't say I care for Palin at all as she stands for just about every issue I am against and is a soccer mom from Alaska that acts like she has a world of experience when she has none. She's also too fire and brimstone in her speeches, attacking brutally when she has nothing to back herself with and is a Creationist. She loses on all counts in my book and I do feel she's just there to cater to feminists that were all gaga over Hillary. What gets me is that these voters don't realize Palin stands for everything opposite that Hillary did so they aren't even caring to study this and instead it's all about her being a woman. As mentioned above, voting because someone is female or black or white is stupid. Whichever candidate is chosen, I'd hope that people would at least study their platforms, but some people can't be bothered with it. I can have respect for whoever votes for either candidate as long as they at least did some research and vote on the person who fits their desired outcome the best. As for Biden, he's okay. I am not crazy about him but he isn't the worst choice out there. If Obama was smart though he would declare that if he wins the nomination he has a place for Hillary on his cabinet or staff somewhere where she'd be most useful. I can see why he didn't choose her as VP but she does have far more capability than Palin and if voters knew he intended to have her assisting such as with her medical program idea, perhaps that would do him better. Whether she's an awful liar or not, she is a good worker and does have a brain on her...unlike Palin.
They aren't declaring it as a space ship UFO. They are saying it is an unidentifed flying object as in they can't identify what it is and that it was there and then gone. It may have been 'dust' on the lens or it could be something else that was discovered out there far off which is unknown at this time. I don't discount either and it is fascinating if it was something unknown and I hope they can discern more about it.
No, Riku was chosen for the Keyblade prior to that, and very possibly by Terra. I've mentioned the theory before and I'm pretty sure that is who Terra was speaking of. Riku did not 'fall to Darkness' when he saw the door glow as a kid. He was a Keyblade wielder and so he -could- see it where others could not. He only would see it after Kairi had been sent to the world by Xehanort and then Xehanort's Heartless found the intended Keyblade wielder. Riku wasn't really 'corrupted' when he opened the door on Destiny Islands, though he was manipulated and used. He was told presumably that it would open up the door to other worlds, which essentially Xehanort's Heartless wasn't lying. Xehanort himself opened the door on Hollow Bastion which connected it to other worlds and King Mickey soon arrived after. I doubt Riku would have actually opened the door if he thought Destiny Islands would be devoured and I doubt the Keyblade would have gone to him had he done so intentionally. He wanted to leave and go exploring other worlds and said so. He built a raft, doing most of the work on it because he really wanted to leave and if he knew he was going to leave the world via Darkness as he did, why would he have bothered doing all that work? It wasn't a ruse. I believe he knew of the Darkness through dreams similar to Sora's because he even shouts to Sora "I am not afraid of the Darkness!" which in Sora's dream it says 'Do not be afraid of the Darkness'. However, Xehanort's Heartless clearly had tricked Riku and probably did tell him to open the door and that it would connect to other worlds. Once opened, of course, the Heartless arrived. Riku is taken from Destiny Islands and since he departed, the Keyblade that appeared went to Sora. Riku in Traverse Town took the Keyblade from Sora and seemed surprised that it appeared in his hand. When Sora says 'hey, give it back' Riku does. Technically, Riku could have walked off with the Keyblade then and there. He also took it in Hollow Bastion. Riku was corrupted by Darkness then but he still was doing things to presumably help his friends. When he gave up and chose the power of Darkness over Light and his friend Sora, he lost the Keyblade. He was totally 'eligible' before that to take it at any time.

There are people with chemical imbalances that the drugs do aid them. Yes, addressing problems and all is the way to go but some people do have chronic depression and do need to see a psychiatrist to get appropriately diagnosed. We aren't doctors here so we can't just tell people to not go to a doctor and see if they have a problem or not. Prince_of_Hearts - If you feel depressed, you might want to try to mention some of the things that seem to bother you and perhaps we can help you sort it out. If you do feel depressed often for little reason that you can put a finger on, you may should try to talk to your parents about it and work up a plan of action with them if you can. We are happy to assist you here but without any actual problems listed we really can't offer you anything but support and hope you will feel better soon. Also, if you do go to a psychiatrist/counselor, understand that drugs aren't the 'cure' to depression. You still have to work at fixing things in your life and addressing the issues that are leaning you towards depression. The drugs can help make this easier as they alter your chemical balance but they are an alleviation and not a cure. If you do get drugs by any chance, make sure that you pay attention to mood shifts and if you feel yourself getting worse by any chance, tell your parents right away. There are an assortment of drugs out there because people's chemical balances differ and what may causing one person's depression may not be causing another person's. I hope you will feel better and talk to your family if this condition seems like it is really bringing you down. Hopefully they will be understanding and you can all work together to help make things better for you.

The censor list may have changed again when Vbulletin was upgraded. I would pretty much assume that this is what the problem most likely is so it will probably have to be gone through yet again when there is time. I don't really think anyone went in and changed the words deliberately.
There is a calendar and also an announcement of birthdays at the bottom of the forum so I don't think this is necessary. I don't really think it's a good idea because it would get rather spammy. We have a lot of birthdays and some people even change their birthdays so it is a nice idea in one sense but also really I think it would be too annoying after a while.
Meh, storm keeps killing my connection to the interwebs. I wish there was a way to keep the connection on when power goes out. Ah well. Hope you guys are doing cool and stay well. See ya after school sometime!
OOC: I'm kind of having a bad storm and the power keeps going out so I might have to be brief on this. Basically as far as Org memories prior to them becoming Org members, well you can glean things off of their past kind of by how they 'react' so I don't mind some creativity filling in the blanks since I doubt we will learn of them in prior lives except possibly a bit more info on some of the top 6 members. So go ahead and fill in some stuff if you want. xD As far as the 14th member goes, we know very little about her but just mentioning what we 'do' know wouldn't hurt as in saying at one time she was an Org member. It's probably best though to not mention her much until we see 358/2 Days and know about her more. So basically just use discretion if she happens to come up, I'd suggest. I'll be back to post IC so feel free to continue but probably I won't be here till after school since I'm going to go ahead and leave here soon since this storm doesn't appear to want to abate. Also, things made by Vexen...let's just say all weren't the greatest so I wasn't really 'caring' at all." He rubbed his chin thoughtfully recalling things. I really was thinking that Riku would win considering he took out Lexaeus, who was definitely no slouch and also Riku had managed to even grow in power with Darkness and stability so much that he actually learned how Zexion was finding him and used it against Zexion. I knew the outcome as much as I did with Vexen versus Sora." He studied Repliku a moment and yeah, he could swear in a way he felt regret but yeah...it had to be the former emotions of a past life that by instinct were saying he 'would' feel them were he his old self. He then looked over at Roxas apologetically as if to say 'yeah, I'm a really bad person and now you know the whole story'. He wondered what Roxas thought of him now. He even wondered what Sora thought of him now. He knew Riku had known things but also he didn't know it all either. Namine even didn't know all of the grim details. He placed a hand almost instinctively on his chest where a physical heart may be, but also where people denoted their Hearts were. He blinked at the reaction and set his hand back on the armrest and looked at the Pokemon, collecting his cool and then smirked with amusement. The instinctive memory of emotion had passed.
I figure then, he can play since he has no clues that were given to him other than what's here. Oh, and I bought the dvd 1-6 collection of DN and have two patches for my coat. One of L and one of Light. I may give the Light one to a friend since she lurves Light probably as much as Misa, to the point I just call her Misa now.
Well it won't be a problem for those writing in the general color here. Whatever color is set as a basic color would show up instead of this color which is preset as the standard. So if the other skin used light blue or light gray text as the base color, that's how people with that skin would see it. As for other colors people use, some people still use yellows and lighter colors and we just have to highlight the text with this. The same would have to be done with the other skin or any skin really where people input their own color choices.
I can't recall if any 'kiras' that were caught were let to be detectives or not. I don't believe so but I'll let ICSP be the judge on it since yeah, you don't have a clue who the other kira is. For now, just stand by until he makes a decision on it. And Xaale, sorry to hear about the situation at home. We'll be happy to see you when we can so hang in there. We'll keep your seat warm. Hopefully after a while your mom will feel more comfortable about you being on.
Well, can you try to leave her alone and not ask others to talk to her either? The best thing to do seriously is to let her have a few days to think and calm down and let her contact you. I would also try thinking back. Having AS, might make it difficult to find out what you had done or said to her that offended her so greatly but try to remember the actual day she said she was so mad at you and what happened the day before. This becomes a rough thing to discern because often people with Asperger's do not realize what it is they've said unless someone actually comes out and -says- what it is. That is part of the syndrome and one of the symptoms to diagnosing it. Basically, give her a few days and then message her saying something to the effect of this (WAIT A FEW DAYS!!) "I am sorry if I upset you and I wish to resolve things. If you could at least tell me where I went wrong, I would appreciate it and maybe we could fix things. Please tell me when you are ready to and I won't bug you." If you do that in a few days, and then leave her be, she will -hopefully- see that you are genuine and wish to know what went wrong and how. This is no assurance that she will want to talk to you, but it is a possibility. And it's a better possibility really than the other option you are doing now which may be just making her more upset and angry because she may feel rather stalked. You have got to give her space regardless of what happens. Please don't go to other people on Aim or that have contact with her and ask their opinions or to pass on things to her. They will undoubtedly tell her which will keep her frustrated for longer. As for finding friends in school, the two types of 'potential' friends I'd suggest is to look for either someone who is shy and quiet often or someone that is energetic but does not just 'follow the crowd' and has a unique personality. These two sorts may be your best bet to making friends as they aren't really at school for 'popularity'. There are always teens to find that don't just fit in the popularity circle. A great way to meet some people is to try joining a club where you can focus on some topic of the club but also work on projects with other teens. A lot of people make friends this way easier. Also, Mixt suggested a book there and you might want to get it and/or also get some other books that go into more on Asperger's so maybe it will help you discern ways to perhaps try to associate with people better and also just give you more of a grasp on the situation you are dealing with. You definitely are not '******ed' and the kid that said that was wrong. You can fight this but one way surely is to get as much knowledge as you can on what you face so you can try to catch yourself. I am hoping you can find a true friend or friends even at school but it's going to take some work. Hang in there and I hope you are doing okay otherwise. Many teens won't talk to their families about this sort of thing because they feel parents will take it as a form of needless drama and just roll their eyes. Aspergers adds to this even more. A lot of people put things here that they don't want to deal with talking to their families over. I agree she might get some better help from a parent but we don't know if her family is that understanding either. I don't really find it offensive she'd ask us. I will add one more thing though. Those with Asperger's that I know do have a much easier time talking on the computer to others. They don't have to feel they have to be quiet as much and it is easier for them. I know two people off the computer with it and about six people online, and even some additional members here, and all of them say it is far easier to not be face to face with someone when talking about deep personal feelings. I actually went and researched Asperger's quite a bit to understand my friends more because yes, sometimes they can say some of the most obnoxious things and I was particularly offended a couple times by one person. Finding out that it was kind of part of the symptoms of defining Asperger's made me realize that if I simply took the time to explain to them what was said was not going to be received well by many people and -why- made things easier. Those friends I have now ask me at times things to make sure they will be taken right when speaking. I also am calmer now if they do say something 'mean' and can calm tensions with others. I do agree Lauren obviously needs space but also Lauren is not telling her what she even did wrong. If the reason isn't even known that's really not offering any type of closure so that Ampex knows whether the problem is repairable or she should just move on. In this, Lauren is kind of also being quite unreasonable. Most people will -say- what you did and why they don't like you pretty openly.
