To me, Chuck Norris is not a bad guy. He also has talent with martial arts and actually hung out with Bruce Lee and I believe he was even a palm bearer at his funeral. So yeah, to me he's just another actor that is alright and can kick some butt.

I don't connect the jokes to Chuck Norris anymore than I blame Rick Astley for 'rick rolling'. I've seen these jokes also applied to Vin Diesel. They were funny at first but after time it has kind of grown old, though some people invent new ones that I can still find somewhat amusing. Really though, it's not like Chuck Norris cares about the jokes about him on the internet which are all fan based fun and have spread around. I'm sure he didn't start inventing them.

Yay storms hit and knocked over a lot of trees, including one in a neighbor's backyard that trashed the fence between our properties. xD. The electricity going out was fun but I can be grateful that we weren't hit as bad as some people who won't have electricity for 3 days. This is rare up here in NY to happen unless it's a very bad winter. Makes me hope those people in Texas are doing alright because they sure were hit bad.

As others have mentioned, the sun may be playing a part in tinting your hair. Another factor could be if you go swimming or there is a high concentration of chlorine in your bathing water, and you soak it and then go out in the sun, it may lighten your hair as well. Chlorine causes 'bleaching' so it alone could even be a contributor. I also have black hair, being Native American, and yet in the summer it tends to get brownish highlights for those reasons.

I thought it was funny. xD. I think it made Hillary though look better than Palin because though Hillary has her faults that were amusingly portrayed, she still has brains and conviction and well, it does point out the truth that Hillary actually did fight and do a ton of work and is now royally in debt by her campaign fight. Sarah Palin did nothing but be a soccer mom in Alaska who spouts of credentials she doesn't have. Palin is nothing but annoying as a Creationist, conservative person that doesn't want people judging her family but she's so willing to tell others how to run theirs. I don't really like either woman but can say that there was only so much that could be said on Hillary when comparing her to Palin.

Which brings me to the point on why are some women voting for Palin when Hillary's platform is -nothing- like Palin's at all? Really, the bias is on both sides of the fence with some people being chauvinistic but also some people being extremely feminist and nothing is mattering other than the fact both women are in fact...women. Sad. That is the truly fun part of this skit is that it points that out.

I'm saying the old guy. Some clowns are pretty acrobatic and tough heh. They have great balance etc. It wouldn't humiliate me near as much as getting beaten up by some 70-90 year old codger with a cane when normally I'd figure I could just give one push and he'd be on the ground yelling 'I've fallen and I can't get up!".

Actually, I would not do what Daxma suggested as it is aggressive and could be taken as hostile and make you seem more anti-social. Instead, if they play around and throw pencils at you, throw a couple back at them and smile earnestly. Take it light hearted. If you see that they say compliments to you and the next day they are messing with you, and you believe that the compliments were genuine, they may just want you to come out of your shell more and have some fun.

Try talking with them some and asking 'what's up?' and 'how's your day going?' if you can. If they do things that bug you say 'hey, man, that isn't cool. Lay off that, ok?". Be calm and try to have a pleasant demeanor as they seem to just be testing things and they may actually be harmless.

However, if you notice that they become more aggressive and rotten to you after this, then you may actually have to tell them to 'back off' and move around them. Most often I've found with these sorts that actually are 'kind of bullying' and yet 'kind of not bullying' that they are just goofing around and yet want to make friends. If you try the first idea here and find that they aren't just bullying to bully, then you will have made some friends. If they start to become utter @sses, you know that now too and can follow up accordingly with telling them to back off and if they don't, keep calm and don't 'ignore' them but also don't give in to their antics that are meant to tick you off. If one of them actually laid a hand on you, that's different but if you use your wit against theirs if they want to be lame, you come out looking all the better. Hope this helped, because sometimes these sorts of people aren't all that bad and I've made friends with some or found out their true colors by just being amiable, ironically. I tend to save my brutal side for those who deserve it.

If you get unwanted PMs, especially from people you don't know or with low post counts, yeah, that is not right and you should report it to an admin right away.

The only place people are allowed to advertise other sites and post links is in their signatures so that it gives members the choice of going there or not without being harassed or spammed.

I actually think that if prostitution were made legal it would be better for society in the end as long as it was ran as a business where common law practices were necessary.

i.e.
- Prostitutes would get wages, medical benefits and have to get physicals often.
- Prostitutes would be known to have a -job- and not just have to be doing things illegally.
- Employers that harmed prostitutes could be tried and punished in a court of law. Also, sexual conduct would be between clients and prostitutes only and not employers.
- Prostitutes would be treated more fairly in a court of law even if the case was rape or molestation.
- Men and women that wished to use prostitution could do so if they were single and not have to go build up some other person's hopes when all they are out for is a one night stand.
- If a client is found to be married, the prostitute could actually be a witness against the client for adultery if the spouse files a claim of divorce.
- The prostitute's lives wouldn't be in danger as much and pimps would become a thing of the past. Also teenage girls and boys would not be able to be drawn into prostitution as laws would say prostitutes have to be a certain age and age could be verified as it is with other businesses.

There are other countries that do have prostitutes and also Las Vegas and really, the places that are well maintained do not have any more of a severe problem with STDs than places where prostitution is illegal. Prostitutes, in fact, may be safer in some ways if health physicals were performed and there were rules instilled for a prostitute's safety. The only reason I think prostitution isn't legal is because of religious morals. I do believe two consenting adults that want to have sex, whether it's for money or not, have the right to make that choice. I'd actually like to hear someone say some reasons why it should not be legal with some evidence other than the usual 'it's wrong because it's not moral' argument. The STDs aren't even accurate as it could even reduce STDs if done as a proper business.
