There are always wars going on, even before the World Wars.

Communism is an idea and nothing more. It cannot be applied to the real world effectively.

There could actually be more of a problem of over-globalisation with nations completely losing their identities and us all becoming "people of the world".

Humanity needs competition and adversity to keep it on its toes and prevent stagnation. World peace would bring about a slow death unfortunately =/

I personally believe that the main problem facing the world today is ineffective governments i.e. all of them.

Was that not because the Republican party cheated?

He will be remembered by his mistakes and screw ups. Simple as that. Although, it does depend on who records the history.

The failing economy of the US is the end product of the "old-style" of government. And I will say again, experience means nothing. You could work at a job for 20 years and still be mediocre. Meanwhile someone just starting could already be miles ahead.

I personally think policies are more important. And really just someone to hold everything together. The main problem we have in the UK is that people are ganging up on Gordon Brown right at the time when they should be giving him their full support, whether they like him or not.

As has already been stated, if it was made legal it could then be monitored and regulated by governments. This would mean regular health checks etc.

Also, they would not be on the street. The only reason they are on the street now is because it is illegal.

How is it immoral? From the Bible? We live in secular societies and therefore the Bible and other religious texts should have no bearing on our legal systems. If you read the original comment you would see that it is about reasons for it to be illegal, reasons with evidence and at least some explaination.

I would personally vote Mickey Mouse, he manages to make it in as a candidate every year.

It would technically be positive discrimination (discrimination done in an attempt to right previous discrimination).

I also hope that he Muslim part was a joke, or you are very ignorant indeed.

Both sides have smear campaigns. It's called politics, both sides make up everything they can get away with about the other side.

Also, Palin isn't running for president (thankfully).

As I have said before, lack of experience means nothing. In fact, experience means nothing. You could have lots of experience and still suck. Raw talent is more important. And how are people supposed to get experience unless they are given a chance in the first place?

Obviously the massive wave of gun and knife crime in London and England at large hasn't reached America yet. Although, it was teenagers who were getting slaughtered, not the victims of racist ****tards who should be locked up and the key thrown away.

These people ruin human society and what happens to them? They go in jail "for life" and are out in 10 years. While they are in jail they enjoy a better standard of life than they would have had outside jail. Heck there was a story about a guy who broke into a prison to bring in prostitutes, cigarettes and drugs and prisoners had the option to escape and they didn't even try!

The UK justice and legal system is a complete farce. We might as well not have a police force, as as soon as anyone is caught either the prisons are full (which they are now) or they get a massively reduced for either pleading guilty (wow, slight honesty compared to a heinous crime?) or they "find God" (which I personally believe to make them even more dangerous) or they get out early for "good behaviour" (if someone is capable of murder, surely they can pretend to be good? Duh).

Also, several people seem to be assuming this happened in America. If these people actually read the article they would find it says a London street.

Is it not true that Obama is ahead in most of the polls, Palin is beating McCain in debates, of the 4 million or so newly registered voters most of them registered democrat and that democrats apparently out number conservatives 2 to 1 in Florida?

I think I read this on the BBC, but it was definitely somewhere >.>

Is in need of a validity check.
