Actually his grading policy is a lot like how colleges work. You do tend to get graded more strongly on quizzes, tests and class participation etc than you do on actual homework assignments. I'd consider thinking on that and well, really trying to apply yourself to that class because it might be what helps you prepare more for college. I am sorry to hear you won't be on until your grades improve. It sucks and we'll still be here when you get back. Keep cool!

Emotions aren't a bad thing. Letting them run amuck and just saying whatever first comes to mind because of them is the problem. It takes effort and work in yourself to realize that there's a time and place to say things and when to not do so. You have to train yourself basically. If you have troubles with that, maybe try talking to the counselor as you said or perhaps try a professional counselor or psychiatrist. We all have emotions and they can go hectic but we can hold control over ourselves for the most part if we work hard at learning how to. Understanding yourself and seeing how others react to things you say can be a great help. i.e. If you tell someone to F off, usually their reactions aren't going to be favorable because your words weren't favorable. So, it's a matter of thinking before speaking. If you want to let someone have it, you will. But if you feel later when you aren't in that mood that you will regret it or even eat those words, you might want to give pause before saying it. Get what I mean?
Well, it hasn't turned into a rant, despite the title. xD. I just want to keep it from happening so nothing goes on like last night. Also, if you now are starting to see some of the things that can cause drama which you do, that is a big help for you and will make things easier on you all around. We can really only change faults in ourselves that we actually acknowledge.

You two have quite a few differences from one another to include personality and perhaps that is why at times you mix like oil and water. No one wants to give ground at times. You are both great at times and at other times Cupcake, you are a drama whore, and Beat you are an arse. You both should know it by now. We all have our idiosyncrasies but at the same time we can come to appreciate them and if not, at least accept them. Keep cool so we don't have to lock another thread for going the way of the lemmings.
No, the round isn't over. I was very very busy over the weekend and will be into this week. Dark, your list is fine but needs to be updated some. I don't think it sucks. Demyx didn't approach me as a wimp. He basically was instead someone who was reacting off of a variety of emotions he had experienced in his former life. He seemed to me to be someone who was probably picked on a lot before he became a Nobody and didn't like to fight unless he was cornered because he preferred to be more peaceful. Because Xemnas pretty much gave him orders that would definitely get him cornered again, and who wants to fight against Xemnas's orders, Demyx was put in a situation twice that made things bad for him. Had things been different and he could have found the strength of will to say he would not side with Xemnas, he may have been a great member of Sora's team. However, there were high odds against Demyx surviving too, just as there were with Axel doing so, and Axel was a lot more of a wild card than Demyx. I don't think Demyx was a wimp at all, but he was someone used to being picked on and possibly beaten up before he became a Nobody. He also did not seem to fit well in the Organization and by accounts in the novels and also from the game itself, Demyx just seemed to be a tool in the end with hopes he would get his heart back. On a final note, though he doesn't tend to fight you 'direct' in his final fight, Demyx's battle was one of the hardest in the game, though part of the reason was that there were timing issues. Demyx knew when cornered he had to fight and he did so. A wimp would have ran and hid under a rock from both Sora and Xemnas. He wasn't only cornered by Sora but also by his orders he felt he dared to not disobey. Great stakes were on the line. In the end I have a lot of sympathy for the character.

I'm just going to be blunt and direct, as usual. No offense is meant but I think there's a reality check necessary. Joker, you are seriously calling the kettle black. I agree with you that threads that attack members should be closed or deleted. However, because a friend was attacked, you post this. What about all of the things you've said in other people's threads that were cruel and uncalled for? Beat isn't the only person who can say nasty things to others with no provocation. Also, when he is banned, he deals with it with dignity and doesn't make a stink about it. Maybe this is why you fail to realize when he is dealt with. Consider this. Cupcake, you made a thread -about- standing up and that you were sick of taking other people's crap. Please see that it was unneeded and why couldn't you just think it to yourself instead of posting drama that would sooner or later get a reaction that was negative? Think before you post challenging words because someone is always going to riposte on a challenge. It is the way life works. There are better ways to get your point across instead of coming up with an attitude of your own. You are a nice person, but doing these posts and then, when you get negative responses, saying you quit is just silly. Think on this. Shiki, your complaint about not being able to talk to Neku on the boards... Let me explain something here. All of those threads about you and Neku <3 <3 are what got you in this mess. Then you after posted threads that you aren't really together. You are considerably younger than he is and made yourself and him look bad. If people commented, it is because of your actions and it's a life lesson to seriously learn here. Don't go saying inaccurate, misleading things and people won't take them seriously or look down on you. You also said some rotten things about other members and some staff. No one expects you to not talk to Neku on the boards. Just treat him as the close friend he is and don't go misleading people please and this problem will be over. Lastly though, favoritism... heh. This seems to be a thing some members want to really push and it simply has not existed for some time now. In the past, when someone seemed to receive special treatment, staff has discussed it with ourselves and at times it hasn't been pretty. I assure you that we are on ourselves and very critical about this more so than the members will be because some of us, myself included, loathe favoritism outright that lets certain members feel they can do whatever while others cannot. None of the staff stands by favoritism and our friends who know us well personally would see this about us. Please stop thinking we are above rules or let others be above them because those rules listed are for us all to abide by. If we couldn't follow them, they wouldn't exist.
As CtR said, the search function can be made so that you can find threads in a particular forum instead of the whole board. The search to me works fine when I use the advanced search if I need to isolate things. Otherwise, it tends to also work well. Yes other things come up on the regular search but sometimes this can also be very helpful.

He is pretty metrosexual but I can't equate that with gay. Nobles weren't all gay and they dressed for pomp and circumstance etc. Businessmen and other men dress up and are neat etc. Yeah, his hair is an unusual color and all but I think it goes with his theme he chose for himself to be a graceful assassin which to me just means, like the other members of the Org, their titles are important to them and they fit them. And just about -any- KH character has been made into a yaoi thing or for girls a yuri thing by some fans. They are their interpretations or fun so I can't call any character outright as gay because who says they are right? People constantly debate Marly's orientation and Axel's and I just think Nomura makes the characters and people decide as he doesn't care to class them. I'd still lean towards saying he's probably not gay, though I have no idea for sure and it's left up to the players to decide.
