I would not call the Organization evil. Really, to me, evil is a word that is negotiable as to what it means and we can all have different views on it. Some people will say it is evil for a starving kid to steal a candy bar while others will sympathize and say it is wrong but there are circumstances that merit it. So really, I try to not use the word 'evil' to describe even some of the most heinous figures of our time.

Instead, I judge people more on 'actions' they do. i.e. The Organization had a purpose. Their intentions were to get their own Hearts back since they were stuck in a state between essentially life and non-existence. They were missing a whole aspect of themselves which made existing rather banal and meaningless. In essence they were beings frozen in time and they were the result of the Heartless being unleashed on worlds of living people, where they consumed Hearts and thus what remained would become Nobodies elsewhere.

I don't even think Xehanort and the top 6 members of the Organization knew exactly what would happen to them should they give in to Darkness. The only one known to retain any 'sentience' after changing to a Heartless seems to be Xehanort, if Axel's words can be taken as true. The others however, who all were strong enough of spirit, did manage to have intact Nobodies, along with him, and memories of their former lives. This change may have been rather difficult on them and we also must wonder exactly why these members took the plunge into Darkness in the first place with Xehanort. Also, why did they insist on studying and going past the point of no return when Ansem had ordered the experiments to be stopped. These are mysteries hopefully that we will get some answers to in BBS and 358/2 Days.

As for the other members below, they can be considered innocent of the initial 'crime' that placed the top members who were apprentices of Ansem the Wise as traitors and threats to all life as the Heartless were unleashed not just on one world, but through interspace as KH likes to call the space between worlds. It doesn't mean they did not perhaps do things wrong or right prior to joining the Organization and prior to becoming Nobodies.

To be a Nobody, whether from the Org direct or one of the lesser ones, is a state to well...think on how horrible it might be. Imagine being a husk, a body that is not your own but is a memory of your own former body, powers that you probably did not possess prior, but also a lack of emotional depth and feeling. It is somewhat akin to vampires, which is about the closest thing I could relate it to. They are changed and though responsible for their actions still, their judgments would also be altered from a normal person's.

Being a Nobody, they would be as rational or mind thinking as they could be. They also would not have emotions to really 'care' about what they do to others. They merely wanted their Hearts back to be complete and I'm sure there was some other agenda there, but as of yet we don't know it. It is not the fact that they wanted their Hearts, or some Hearts anyway because they might not find their 'old ones', back which makes them bad people. It's not really the fact that some exhibited very little conscience or sympathy towards others that would make them conceivably bad or evil as some would say, because the state of being is what it is. It's not actions. They are as they are.

What made the Organization destructive and harmful to others was their actual actions in order to get Hearts. They harmed worlds, controlled Heartless and manipulated them, they even made more Nobodies with Heartless as they sent them to worlds, adding to their own numbers because they believed in the end, they would win. They also, with this thought in mind, had been allowing Heartless to make more of themselves. They used other beings such as corrupting a dragon and a dark spirit within a chest, and other Heartless that were not so before as strong aids to get Sora to destroy them and thus send their Hearts to the faux Kingdom Hearts created in TWTNW. Not only did Hearts not make it to the -real- Kingdom Hearts, but they were going to be used by the Organization for their scheme which may or may not have worked, but destroyed a lot of lives. They attempted to corrupt Beast, used Sora throughout, and some initially caused the problem of the Nobodies' existence in the first place and yet the leader who motivated the Heartless was also the leader for the Organization.

To me, I would not call them 'evil', but I would say that their quest brought about actions that required them to be stopped because of how they were pushing to force others to change and they certainly put a great burden on life to get what they desired. They would of course feel little if any guilt over such a thing, save for Roxas and later on, Axel. Demyx also didn't ever seem to fit in the scheme of things and in the novels he was even ridiculed for being kind of a bumbler. Because they had no conscience over quite a few things, it's no question also that Marluxia would attempt to betray the Organization because he seemed to not mind his actual condition as it gave him more power. Someone had to try the power ploy and not go along with what Xemnas wanted because the younger members certainly did not spawn the situation in the first place and of course, the lure of being in a new powerful body to some and having no emotions in the way, it's ideal for a corrupt leader to come about.

So though I do not consider the Organization to be evil, I do consider their actions to be destructive enough to merit that others would have to step up and stop them. They did never make their intentions fully clear which if they had, the heroes might have been able to have more sympathy to them. Only Riku really seemed to know things and did sympathize with the plight of Namine and Axel, as he came to understand their personalities and identities were unique, as was Roxas's and he questioned his own actions then of whether it was right or wrong to force Roxas back with Sora, though he had to or Sora would never have awakened. In the end, it came down to a call for survival of Nobodies versus the original people who were there prior to the Nobodies and Heartless. Is it right for the Nobodies to continue existence and make more, and seek their Hearts or to let nature do its thing to compensate for their condition?

People around here say they just were after their Hearts and it is true. They also slam on Sora and his allies for being 'closed minded' and prejudiced to Nobodies, but if you study the game in earnest, you'd see that Sora did not gain information on the Nobodies that we would see in cutscenes. It just didn't happen, so without Nobodies actually being willing to communicate with him or any of the heroes for that matter, he was at a loss and could only go in one direction. Also, Nomura pointed out that if a Heart is freed from a Heartless, it would return to Kingdom Hearts. If under normal circumstances, nature had been able to work, and Sora had freed Hearts, when a Nobody would perish or choose to give up its existence, that Nobody would return to his full life, with a Heart again. If a Nobody died however and the Heart was not freed from a Heartless, that Nobody simply would cease to exist. Now, Nomura states this but I must wonder if the Nobodies of the Organization -knew- this, just as much as I know Sora and his friends knew little about the Organization. So, if they did not, their mission was a desperate one to survive. If they did, they were out to make themselves into something more.

In any event, I think it came down to a battle of survival of Nobodies and their personalities and the desire to become whole... VS... the people who were in danger from Heartless and those who were changed to Heartless that they would never become whole again, because the Nobodies wanted to preserve their own integrity. Namine herself did not really want to go back to Kairi until she was resigned that it was the right thing to do or she and Kairi might always be incomplete. What would have happened to Kairi if Namine had become whole by Xemnas's idea? Let alone what would have happened to others who were in danger and did not have Kairi or Sora's predicament is a good question. I blathered on here but I guess the point comes down to I consider this more an issue of survival that had no choice but to be fought because of how the Organization played its hands. It's a debate whether they thought they -had to- or not but safe to say probably at least some of them did feel that way strongly. I don't consider Sora to be wrong in what he did, but I do not feel the Org was entirely without purpose either in their plight. I went into detail with this because I know someone will tell me 'well you don't think they were wrong or evil so that means Sora isn't justified' suddenly so it had to be clear. ^_^

If the story is true... since well there is debate, there is a deeper reason.

The Christian reason on the outside is that we had original sin because of Adam and Eve eating the forbidden fruit that gave them the knowledge of sin. God punished them, banished Adam and Eve from Eden and took away their immortality. This sin would pass on to all of the children that would come from them, for they were considered the parents of all humans...even if at times they met other humans. The story is sketchy but that's the down low.

Jesus is believed by Christians to be the Son of God. He was also called the 'King of Jews'. However, during the time of his arrival, King Herod technically was the 'King of Jews' and also lands would be taken over by the Roman Empire, which is where Pontius Pilate comes into play as he was governor of the region where Jesus would be brought up on charges.

King Herod tried to eliminate the prodigal child by having babies murdered which caused Mary to have to flee with Joseph to Egypt. They would return later. Jesus at age 12 began teaching people but in the end, it is not until Jesus is 30 that we see where he begins to be at odds strongly with some of the Jews who mainly were in positions of power. He made some political statements such as his position on paying taxes to Caesar but at the same time confronting corrupt men who taxed over the amount for their own personal gain. He made statements about the positions Jews should have on children, on women who did less than favorable jobs that of course men would put them in at the time such as Mary Magdalene. He, by the Christian accounts, drew many Jews about him promising them hope and that if they walked the right path, they would be rewarded.

So, you can imagine now, with all of these people following Jesus because of miracles he would do, showing mercy to people who normally others feared, disliked or did not want around, such as lepers, bringing someone back from the dead etc, that well, he was gaining a lot of popularity. Others called him the King of Jews and said he was the son of God, which threatened the Jewish leaders at the time and of course their synagogues. The Jewish leaders simply did not believe in the people's claims and well, with good reason. If the story is true here, Jesus was in some trouble because of the challenge he was to the authorities. Pontius Pilate really did not care either way and said so with his famous 'I am washing my hands of this' when he let the Jewish leadership condemn the man who he thought was not that bad a person really. He merely wanted peace to well, stop an uprising of Jewish people because it would not have been pretty and he was supposed to govern the area. If it were lost or people died in droves, the Caesar would not be pleased with him.

So, it comes down to the point that Jesus was a threat to synagogues, a threat to the belief of the Jewish establishment and to them, he had no real proof to show them of these 'miracles' etc. It was seen as a mockery, much as today Mr. Smith who founded Mormonism was seen as a traitor to the convention of Christianity. The Mormons were attacked at places and many fled to Utah to escape persecution. So Jesus was determined to be a false prophet and therefore hung on the cross.

The significance of this is of course that Jesus acknowledges the people do not know what it is they do and he has his moment of asking God why he must die. He finds peace and acceptance knowing his purpose is to die and that this death will allow people a second chance to escape from the original sin as well as other sins that formerly may have condemned a person to Hell, regardless of how much they would change later. Basically, if the faith in Jesus was strong enough, because he died for our sins, we could be forgiven for sins we would do and also the original sin if we just believe in him and show change. His resurrection 3 days later symbolized an entrance to everlasting life in Heaven, which soon after he is resurrected and speaks to the women, he returns to Heaven.

Hope that explains both sides of it, from the political reasons why in this tale Jewish leaders might do such a deed, but also as to what the significance and symbolism is.

Riku ended up being transported to Hollow Bastion. He searched for his friends but Maleficent found him. She took him to see Sora at Traverse Town but also put it in his head that Sora had new friends and didn't 'need' Riku anymore.

Riku, despite this, went to see Sora but Donald pretty well refused to let Riku go along with them on their journey and Sora had agreed to find the King, which well, left Kairi missing. Riku was frustrated because Donald refused to let him go and Sora's weak response to Donald was not enough at the time because of the words Maleficent told Riku. Keep in mind that Riku's flaw was that he wanted his friends to need him so they wouldn't abandon him. It probably means that at sometime in Riku's past, he did lose someone he really cared about and felt it was because he wasn't useful enough. This is speculation but many kids go through this when things happen like divorce.

Riku was not jealous that 'Sora' replaced him. He was jealous that Donald and Goofy replaced him. Sora was his best friend. What he says at Hollow Bastion as far as them being competitors was because he was very corrupted and falling to Darkness, he was desperate and he was frustrated. He wanted to save Kairi and just pretty much get away from the others since well, he was 'replaced'. In the end, he wasn't thinking clearly and was a tormented being. Basically, Sora and Riku just did not have time to talk things out and come to understandings and both were stubborn in their own ways.

Sora never offered to join Riku. He offered to let Riku join him with Donald and Goofy but Donald utterly refused and Sora did not really offer up a strong rebuttal. In the end, that's why Riku went off, because Maleficent had already said that his friend didn't need him anymore and he became determined to find Kairi, since Sora was off looking for the King, even though of course, Sora was wanting to find Kairi too.

It does. That's pretty much how I have to say I am. I try to for each person have a 'template' of what I notice and it gets filled in over time and some areas that were 'wrong', I simply erase those and put in the more correct thing so all through knowing a person, they show me more of their character while I continue to let them by not closing my mind. Of course, if they screw me over in some way, I'm more likely to just move on and not deal with the person anymore unless something happens where I have to.

Actually, the kids were taken advantage of. All of them were.

Kairi - was used to go to DI so that Xehanort's Heartless could find the new Keyblade wielder which was Riku. It's not her fault she was captured and sent out to find him. Blame Xehanort's Heartless.

Riku - was -not- jealous of Sora over Kairi as much as people say. He was even coaxing Sora to ask her to go out with him. He would not have played around with it and tried to motivate Sora if he was so jealous. He became mad at Sora later because he appeared to not be helping Kairi along with Riku. Riku's flaw that he wanted to be 'needed' by his friends so they would not leave him was what Maleficent used. Before that, he was a typical kid that just wanted to go adventuring with the two people he cared about most. He wasn't a bad kid. Blame Xehanort's Heartless.

Sora - had Kairi's Heart in him through the game and did not figure it out till the end. A lot of things would have changed had he realized it. He was the only really 'free agent' of the game that was not misled or used like the others were. He found good people and did things for others until he hit Hollow Bastion.

In the end, the 3 kids were all decent kids and had Xehanort's Heartless not intervened, they all would have been fine where they were. Xehanort destroyed a world pretty much and sent out Heartless to do worse. I don't get why people keep blaming Kairi or Riku because both were just teenagers that were thrust into a world of problems that were bigger than what any normal kid would face.

I actually felt that Roxas had the same level of maturity as Sora. Being more serious doesn't mean he's more mature. He showed strong traits of selfishness, stubbornness, forsaking friends, putting aside things for his own personal agendas etc. He also was not so perceptive when it came to other people's feelings.

Sora shows immaturity in the way that he is ignorant to that which is going on around him because he follows his heart more. He isn't the smartest person but he does try to get along with nearly anyone he can. He isn't what I'd call book smart but even though he's naive and his perception can hurt the soul, he is someone that reaches out to others.

So to me, though both were different in some ways, I can't see either as being more mature than the other. They both had shortcomings that reveal their ages rather clearly and both at times act well under their ages, lacking commonsense and logic to figure out some basic answers. The difference is that one is more self-absorbed so he doesn't see the world around him clearly and will even mislabel friends while the other is less self-conscious and so doesn't perceive things unless it's something to do with the heart. So many people assume because Roxas is more 'serious' and self-centered that he's more mature. I just don't see it. I think they were both on par, just that they both came from different points of view.

He may not have a ton of experience but he has a lot of commonsense and he is also able to be put on the spot, can have a commanding presence and yet be benevolent. He's rational and a -thinker- instead of going with cowboy diplomacy ala Captain Kirk. We've had now 8 years of that. He has had a number of years that he served as a lawyer, public servant, community helper and he also served time on the senate. He has made moves to do things in the senate and did not just sit there as some hard Republicans want to declare. He also has been to other countries as a child and grew up learning about how to integrate and live with other people; not just have tea parties with them. He has a different kind of experience with his mom having volunteered to help other countries and his views will be different based on the fact he has been around in a way that wasn't for 'negotiations' or 'fun time'. His experience is called 'real life' and being with real people. I would say it's more than enough to get into the White House considering the Fathers of this country had just as much experience and the greatest changes happened from them. Also other presidents down the line had as much 'experience' as Obama did or less and yet some of them are the amongst our greatest presidents.

He's a realist. He wanted to ensure that he did not get over cocky and assume things were going to go his way. When he started the campaign he knew his chances because he was not even considered a serious candidate for the Democrats for some time. McCain also was not the serious candidate for the Republicans, who thought that Rudy Guliani would take it. Also, he was calm and collected throughout the campaign, not assuming he was going to win and so he worked continuously hard. McCain thought he had it in the bag after Hillary lost, but didn't and so was often frustrated, gritting his teeth, glaring, and then he made his greatest mistake of bringing Palin in for her rallying abilities and I believe the decision was also to get females to warm up to her since Hillary was taken out.

He has some foreign relations having lived a life of integration in some other cultures. He also knows a lot of things because he is well read and informed. He put Biden on his ticket because Biden is a genius when it comes to foreign knowledge and made up for this lack of experience. Also, for someone with no foreign relations, a lot of the world seems to be happy he is now the president and are happy a president is actually willing to sit and -talk- about things first, before doing actions that could be detrimental. Much of the world has seen us lately as even potentially moving to the way of being a threatening country to our -allies-, let alone enemies. For a guy with little foreign relations under his belt, he makes sense to not just many Americans but also people in other countries and bringing in Biden, talking to Generals etc in Iraq and Afghanistan and other places, he's doing the right moves.

Drill baby drill, eh? You do realize that for one, he said that he was willing to offshore drill but not to the levels McCain was. For two, offshore drilling will take around 10 years for this country to actually benefit from it. Looking into other resources as well is a plus and oil will not last forever. It is a dying reserve and if you saw the science for drilling as it is, you'd know that. Finding oil is not so easy anymore. Whether people like it or not, 10 years is a long time to wait to rely on one type of energy source. He -did- say he would move for it, but again, he wants other types of energies to be sought after too so that we aren't just destroying the ocean. Also, did you realize that -EACH- off shore drilling post has to be designed specifically for the area it will be set and will cost a ton of money? Imagine if something goes wrong. We then would have wasted a ton of money on what we can't even barely see yet. Oil should not be our dominant resource. Nearly any scientist who is not working for an oil company would say so.

His 'race' is not an issue but with some idiots with an IQ of 100 if they are lucky, that have swastikas on their bedroom walls and are the 'good ol boys' with confederate flags still swinging on their properties. For the rest of us, Obama is an American. He is black and his father is from Kenya. He is white and his mother is from the U.S. He is of a line of immigrants and also from a line of people that have been here for some time. Also, quite a few people are 'mixed' in this country. I am and know many other people who are half this or that. He represents a growing portion of Americans in that regard and if some people can't take it, that is -their- flaw; not his.

Even if we don't, so what? We do need to balance this country out. Bush's handout money helped worsen things and really should have been put back to the Federal Reserve to try to balance a god-awful situation. We are tremendously screwed right now because of how much money we owe to literally ourselves, let alone China. I think people need to stop being so selfish so we can fix some things. Taxes for anyone who makes less than 200k are not going to increase. Businesses that make less than 250k a year are not going to increase in taxes. The wealthier people can afford to give out more since most of them do tax write-offs and get around taxes anyway they can as it is while middle class and poor Americans cannot do that route. The Republicans made horrible mistakes giving tax cuts to the wealthy, let alone turning out the 300 and 600 bucks to single and married families respectfully. Their economic growth plan by this method failed because most Americans took that money and paid BILLS with it instead of going and spending it on businesses as was thought they'd do. Ironic that the Reps figured people were dumb and would just go spend money foolishly and their whole plan banked on it and...it didn't happen. Simply ironic. When people are desperate, they stop being stupid for a little while.

Offshore drilling will take 10 years to implement to the point where we see anything good come from it. Any plan will take time to do. Solar and wind will be amongst the fastest energy changers to put in place. Nuclear plants will take time etc, but McCain was also motivated to use this option. Anything done to change our power grid, cars etc over to new power is going to take time whether under an Obama administration or a McCain one. To believe anything else is the fact you are buying into propaganda.

Iraq was a foolish thing to do in the first place. Plans to withdraw with a time scale is better than 'let's stay there and -win-.' It's not our country and from the moment we went in, we lost. You aren't a soldier. You don't know the scenes over there. I was in the army. I kind of know the scene more than what people are told. The goal is to try to move people out of there over the span of a year and a half, keeping only some people there to help with training and monitoring, giving support. The Iraq government is not doing enough to control things and the Iraq -people- want them to instead of having to listen to Americans and British people all the time. The Iraq government has a surplus of money that it is not using, while -we- are paying for things over there ridiculously. Corporations like Haliburton were given open cheques to spend on things and well over spent and lied on expenditures. Obama is not calling for troops to immediately leave the area. He wants to move soldiers from Iraq, ensure the Iraq government is stronger, because we -have- been training soldiers and police there for some time now, and get them to finance themselves since they -do- have oil and other things to use to gain money from. We won't be 'abandoning' Iraq for some time but the reduction of soldiers and letting the Iraqi people govern themselves, make decisions etc, it's better than us sitting around there. There -is- no win to the war. I don't get where people think there is.

Afghanistan IS our one legitimate place of war we were SUPPOSED to be at in the first place and we do have to deal with Pakistan. It is believed that Bin Laden, by pretty much -all- security sources, American and not, is hiding in the mountains lining Afghanistan and Pakistan. Obama has said -only- if he has sites on Bin Laden directly, would he demand Pakistan take action to apprehend him -or- we will be forced to go in and catch him. I do not see how this is unreasonable. He has said he will work with Pakistan so long as Pakistan shows it is willing to work with us. He has even said he will offer up assistance for them to aid in hunting for Bin Laden but also some aid for the citizens of Pakistan for the cooperation. I think he's being smart here.

Obama isn't calling for actions against other places. In fact, he wishes to talk with other countries and McCain has actually been more harsh on issues with other countries, not declaring he'd even -talk- with them. Obama wants to open up the table and discuss things with the leaders of countries we have some issues with and see what can be done -before- we take actions. The problem with Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan is already going on. However, Iran, North Korea and Russia are problems at the moment. Obama never declared he would just attack. Matter a fact, it's Palin and McCain that had their little joke saying 'Bomb bomb, Iran'. To me, this stuff isn't so funny.

Misleading speeches? Palin's speeches were awful and she was the white queen at KKK rallies, if nothing more. Obama's speeches weren't that misleading. As a matter a fact, go to news sites such as CNN and go to 'fact checks'. You'll see more often than not, McCain's information was skewed more than Obama's. This is not to say either candidate that said things was trying to be on purpose misleading, but both did so with the information they had on each other's policies and platforms. Quite a few things were misspoken by both candidate but most amusing was that Obama was more often on target than McCain was and Palin...she was the worst candidate to speak at all. The funny thing is that Obama used some 'big words' in his speeches and it seems only those who have no vocabulary don't actually get what his plans are and yet they say he's being misleading. Seriously, I understood his plans more than McCain's. I actually had to go waste my time researching in deep on McCain's because he was too busy attacking Obama to hear anything constructive.

You do realize that McCain also was 'paling around' with terrorists by Palin's standards and Palin herself was doing worse than that. I would go into the whole thing but I can see I've already written a novel here so I will wait until next time to explain Obama's, McCain's and Palin's little terrorist buddies that really aren't their 'friends'.

It's pretty interesting. It's only a demo so I'd imagine the more complete version would be filled in more and space it out more. It's kind of too busy and compact to tell how it will turn out but in some areas you may actually want to tone it down a bit and perhaps add a bit more bass in some areas.

I do think it's coming along very nicely though and sounds like it's going to be really great when you are done with it. I'd like to hear the whole version when it's done. Very cool so far.

It was McCain who stated that he would have stopped so many slanderous things on Obama had he just agreed to go to town hall meeting type things with McCain. So basically because Obama wanted to hold debates differently and do other things, McCain punished him by slanderous ads and such and Palin said whatever she wanted. It makes no sense.

It was McCain and mainly Palin who spread things about how we don't 'know' Obama to make him seem mysterious etc and yet Obama seemed the most clear to me out of it all.

Obama never asked for McCain to stop the hateful rallies that Palin was doing nor did he ask McCain to apologize for the awful way some of the crowds were saying things about him to the point of even saying 'kill him!' and 'terrorist!'. He also did not expect an apology, or really get one, from Fox News for all of the slander to include 'terrorist fist jab' and other cold remarks said out of nowhere by them.

When asked about McCain and Palin, Obama was always respectful and mindful. I can bet at times he wouldn't have minded saying a few choice words about Palin and her awful way of causing lynch mobs and avoiding the issues that were needed to be addressed. Not once did he seriously put them down as they did to him. Ads aside, Obama was very respectful. He certainly could have played the blame game here considering the ads of McCain's were more brutal as well and many people polled believed so, whether Rep or Dem.

McCain and Palin brought up continuously Rev. Wright when both McCain and Palin have some interesting preachers of their own that are bigoted as well. Obama did not criticize them. He had to leave his own church to stop things but the two could go on following a prejudiced preacher and a weirdo guy that casts out 'witches'.

So seriously, I'm not seeing how Obama played the blame game at all. His 'race' speech was simply one of the best speeches to ever hear a person say and he did not complain about it. I would like to see actual facts on where he 'blamed' other people for things and McCain and Palin did not. Quite a few times, McCain said the campaign would not have been so smearing on Obama had Obama played by his rules. I did not see Obama doing this to him and I did pay pretty close attention to things.

It's sad that I am a veteran and yet forget Veterans' Day every year till I am reminded of it. I will have to make a trip to the VA hospital and do a day of volunteering and hand out some gifts or something.

That poem was really great. It really reaches out and delivers the message.

It's a race joke. Aunt Jemima is the syrup lady and chicken is a stereotypical food staple of a certain ethnic group.
