I'm going to close this as there are threads on this in the Birth Before Sleep section of this forum and the title of this topic is misleading. Please post in that area about the game if you wish to continue the convo. PM me if there are any problems.

Yeah, lighting can affect the mood as well as considerable drops in temperature. It is why in winter there are more people that are clinically found to be depressed and also suicide rates are up. The days become shorter and there is less sunlight out. It's also why in winter there are festive holidays and sports in quite a few cultures so that people have things to do to cheer them up during the days that are shorter. There are lights out now that can mimic sunlight which people are advised to buy though they can be costly if they do find themselves more negative or exhausted etc in the winter months. It's a pretty solid fact that decreased light as well as length of light can be a downer to many people, even if they enjoy night time more.

PETA people assume they have the right to do this stuff but it is assault. There are peaceful protests and then there are people who deserve some time in a slammer for assault, regardless of their own hyped up beliefs. I do not wear fur but I like my leather jackets and such and I would so beat the crap out of someone who tried to hit me with stuff or file serious charges...whichever my mood allowed for at the time. Extremists like this seem to get away with this stuff all the time. Lindsay Lohan is not the only one to be attacked by these people and they feel it is their right to do so. I can't say I'm a fan of her but assault is clearly defined by the law and this flour pusher should be suffering for it. I also don't advocate the wearing of furs by animals that well, we would not kill otherwise but for fur. There's a thing with recycling and using parts of animals we actually do use for other things versus killing an animal simply because it has a nice pelt. I could never though see myself acting this petty. I'd simply say something if it was so offensive to me. PETA in some ways is a great organization but it does promote way too many extremists that need to be controlled. I'd hate to see the whole organization suffer for this crap, but maybe that's what needs to happen if they are going to motivate this behavior.

Actually I was in Airborne and did I jumped out of perfectly good airplanes and each time the first thing I thought was "Oh ****!" ..then I thought "Whoo hoo!" and then I thought "That chute better open heh". So no God was needed there. Sorry bub. The 'I'm going to be a tree" thing was a comedian joke and not what people who don't believe in your Christian deity think when they are going to die. Maybe we just think 'And now the answer will finally be revealed' instead of believing in books that to us are full of errors both historically and scientifically.

Also, just because Jesus existed, which his real name is Yeshua, it does not mean he performed all of those miracles which only in history seem to be absolutely accounted for by people years after he died. This is why Jews, except for the nutty group "Jews for Jesus" which are just Christians in the end, disbelieve in Jesus as being a prophet. They have no history of him doing these miracles. One would think the Jews, all those thousands of them that witnessed such great things, would have written about the miracles themselves considering they did put a whole collaboration together of the First Testament while being forced to wander and put it together in Babylon.

In the end, if there is a God, I can say it's not the way humans think of it or them because there could be multiple ones. There just is nothing to hold up any story mankind has created and just because some people may say what you wrote in a time of a near death experience does not validate God exists. On the same note, what happens if a Hindu is going to die? What would he or she think in the same situation? How about a Buddhist? What about a Wiccan? Their last thoughts aren't going to be about the Christian deity and saving them. I guarantee it. So what makes their religions any less correct if this is your 'validation' of God's existence? I choose to simply let the answer be resolved when either
    A. information comes along that actually supports a being of such grandiose magnitude as existing.
    B. I die and there's the answer before me.

Not everyone has to live in fear because of a ridiculous promised land or there's inferno. Some of us would actually like to know for fact instead of just taking a leap of faith. That's not spam. That's being a realist.

Famous, he did not say it was a waste of time. He simply said you could have put it elsewhere. I am probably going to end up moving it because it definitely could have gone under one of the other threads.

It doesn't look like anything to me. It seems there is a pixel that is out on the camera from the 1st and 3rd picture where the smaller girl was sitting and so the light when the other girl sat there was not a problem in the 2nd picture. However, the light orb there could be from that cover of the pixel that the new girl covers because of the lighting from the house. I'm not seeing anything particularly paranormal at all in this.

Also, this could have been put in one of the other ghost threads.

It isn't a fight really. It's a debate. No one was really disrespectful but the theories of many people come into play and so they play out. I would not worry about it.

As for Dredica, I can see why you would not want to post anymore, but the point of debating in the first place is to open your mind and make good arguments and standpoints. People will ask questions and make statements and as a debater, you respond with the same. When we cannot anymore, perhaps it is wise to concede and leave the thread alone for a while. We all run into debates where we feel it's time to step back and step out of them. Don't worry about it either. However, if you don't -care- what others say really, you are walking into a debate with a closed mind and that doesn't help either.

The Helix Nebula is very beautiful. It could inspire anyone to think it's an eye looking about. It's amazing how dust and debris can turn out to look like that through our eyes. As for people trying to say it -is- an actual eye of God or anything, I can see things in clouds at times, which most people can, and would not say it's what it appears to be since I do know it's a cloud. We do have our imaginations though and sometimes they are proved to be quite wrong. Regardless, I'm kind of glad it's not something more than a colorful dust cloud because that would be kind of weird.

I just kind of roll with life. I help some people here and there because I have the time to do so and I figure it makes a difference so that since I am doing alright, someone else could, etc. It's like spreading positive energy in a world that too often people seem willing to spread negative energy in. I don't really have other reasons to help people other than that really. I don't expect things in return. It's nice to get them but not at all necessary. I don't do it out of pity because we all have our bad days and I just feel that if I'm doing okay, I would want others to feel good too if they can, rather than being miserable. I also can't say I feel any guilt over helping others. I've always tended to be someone who tried to get out of messes myself and there were a couple people that did assist me and I figure it's just the more positive thing to do in life is move with it and if I can take the time to help someone else up to go along with it instead of freezing to a spot and being down, it's a good thing to do.

I suppose we all have our reasons in the end, but mine is pretty basic.
