15 or XV 1=I 5=V 10=X 50=L 100=C 500=D 1000=M I (1) II (1+1 =2, obviously) III (here we have 1+1+1) IV (the V is five, but becasue there's an I before it you have to take one off, getting you a 4) V (5) VI (now the I is after it, so you add it and now u have a 6) VII (etc.) I can explain more if u want, and if thats confusing I can explain better too, or you could start a thread for em??
