~Grasslnds/City Border; Meetings and Misunderstandings~ Before Shadow could even respond to her offer to race, Sayaka had already taken off. Shadow sighed before speeding after her. He eventually came up to where she fell, noticing the other two people there with her. Shadow noticed Sayaka's broken arm, but failed to hear her say it would be healed soon. "Are you alright!? It'll be fine, I'll fix it, Mari-...I-I mean, Sayaka." Shadow shook of the sudden hurt he felt before looking over at the two who Sayaka had knocked over. "You two wouldn't have anything to do with this, would you?" Looking at Shadow with awe, Ethan spoke up. "N-Not really...She was running really fast, and when she saw us it was too late to stop. It was an accident. But she did say that it would heal soon." "Really? Is that true, Sayaka?" While Shadow assessed the girl, Ethan took out his Pokédex, and scanned Shadow. He got an error message saying: "Life form is not a Pokémon". For now he decided to leave the matter alone, as Shadow was more focused on Sayaka's arm. ~Unknown Location; The Devil Within~ NOTE: THERE IS A TL;DR VERSION AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST, BUT IT DOES NOT INCLUDE NARUTO OR SASUKE Atop a large snowy hill was Gouken's Dojo, just barely balancing at the top. Inside was Ryu, who was meditating. "You...The one who has been calling me is...you?" Said an unfamiliar dark voice from within Ryu. Ir continued on, with the same image of a young man with devil wings appearing in his head. "I hear you. That voice inside." Ryu's face began to cringe. "You have already opened my eyes. That power inside of you...It's familiar...I hear what's inside of you!" Ryu could feel the Satsui no Hado beginning to come to life within him. "You can't hold on...It will overtake you...And I will find you." For now it seemed like the voices had stopped, along with the images. But then the sounds of footsteps were heard behind him. Ryu stood up. The footsteps came closer. He turned around. "Who's there-" Ryu was stopped by a red-gloved fist to the face. The man who punched him was Kazuya Mishima, who was accompanied by a younger man with dark blue hair. Ryu tried to fight back, but was thrown to the floor by the dark haired boy. "I don't think so." Ryu attempted to stand, but it was difficult due to the Dojo rocking back and forth. The voices returned to him. "Why are you wasting time with him?" It was apparent that Ryu was struggling. "...Not now..." "Your opponent is none other than I." Ryu grabbed his head in pain, yelling. "You are at your limits." Kazuya and the boy cracked a smile at Ryu's agony. They knew what was going on. "I will find you. I will find you...I promise I will find you! It is our fate." Kazuya finally spoke. "It begins." Kazuya nodded to the dark haired boy. He picked Ryu up, threw him into the air, and kicked him into the wall on the way down. This sent the Dojo sliding down the hill at high speeds. It was in vain, however, as the two punched Ryu in his face, sending him back at the wall. Finally, the Dojo slammed into the flat ground at the bottom of the hill, destroying it. The impact awoke two fighters who were a ways away, who happened to be Ken and Naruto. They looked over at the wreckage faraway, only to see Ryu being held by the neck by Kazuya, who was holding Ryu in place for the dark haired boy to finish him with a sword. "Now tell us: Where is the Box?" Ryu didn't answer. "Hmph. Your foolishness will not be tolerated. Sasuke, finish him." "With pleasure." As Sasuke's blade was about to impale Ryu, two voices were heard coming toward them. "Hadoken!" Ken and Naruto had both fired off a Hadoken at Kazuya and Sasuke, causing them to take the hit and slide backwards, away from Ryu. "Same technique." "Hmph. Long time no see...Naruto." Ken charged at Kazuya, throwing a kick towards his face. It was dodged by Kazuya. "Interfering may prove fatal..." "Who the hell're you!? And what do you want with Ryu!?" Naruto stopped and stared at his old squadmate. "Sasuke...It's you..." "Thanks for that, Captain Obvious. Me and Mr. Mishima have business with the man in white. If you don't leave now, I won't hesitate to kill you." Kazuya looked over to Ryu, who was on his knees, and back to Ken, before lowering his arms and smiling. "I see. So he's your friend?" Kazuya walked over towards Ryu. "Foolishness. That boy has great power hidden within him. I am the only one who can truly take control of it." Ken stepped up in front of his friend. "Understood. But...That's not going to happen!" Ken ran at Kazuya and began clashing fists with him. "First Orochimaru, and now this freak? What do you have to gain from all of this!?" "It's simple. Power. Ryu knows where a certain box is. I need to know where it is, so I can harness it's power." Ken and Kazuya continued fighting, and Ken had caught Kazuya in an uppercut, which dazed Kazuya. Ken spun around and began kicking Kazuya repeatedly. "Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora!" He bent backwards and prepared his fist. "Shinryuken!" He called, delivering a flaming uppercut surrounded by a flame tornado to Kazuya's chin. Naruto and Sasuke had also began fighting, clashing fists and kunai. Ken smiled, seeing that he had weakened Kazuya. "Fighting Ryu doesn't mean you've fought me. Ryu! Get up!" Ryu was crawling across the ground, holding back the Satsui no Hado, all the while still dealing with the voices. "I will drive you toward the true path. Like you have done for me. AWAKEN!" Ryu was shaking. Ken looked to his friend, worried. "RYU!" Ken ran at him, hoping to help him. Ryu's eyes glowed red. "Messatsu!" An explosion of dark red aura came from Ryu. "You can't run. You must face me." A red flash came from Kazuya's right eye, which Ken noticed. When Ken looked back, Ryu was running away. "Because it's our inevitable fate." Ken saw his friend run away. "Ryu!!" Kazuya came up behind Ken, kicked his in the back of the leg, and turned him around, holding him by the collar. "Our fight is not yet over!" Kazuya punched Ken into a nearby tree, ran up and followed it up with an electric punch to Ken's gut. Ken made the grave mistake of resting his hand on Kazuya's shoulder. The Mishima wrapped his leg around Ken's arm, and bent it, causing it to snap. Ken screamed in pain before Kazuya knocked him into the snow. Kazuya looked down at Ken's defeated body. "In the end, you fight the same." Kazuya walked off in the direction of Ryu. Ken, looked toward him, still on the ground, and began crawling toward Kazuya. "W-Wait...I'm not done with you..." Meanwhile, Sasuke had succeeded in holding back Naruto, as the orange clad ninja had been knocked unconscious. "...Pathetic." Sasuke followed behind Kazuya. Ryu had made his way from the battle, at the brink of breaking. He fell to his knees, sliding in the snow. This was it, the Satsui no Hado had broken him. Ryu let out a loud cry, along with an enormous red explosion that could be seen for miles. Kazuya and Sasuke saw the explosion and stopped. "Hmph. Looks like he snapped." "So the time has come.
