He lacks some of the moves that his older self has such as the homing attack, Blue Tornado, etc., but still retains the mach speed that the blue blur is known for.

He's safer there." ~Snowy Hill; Nagisa vs Evil Ryu - The Battle Rages On~ As Nagisa charged downward, Ryu readied himself for a super-powerful attack as a counter. She came into range, and Ryu attacked with one, two, three Shoryuken's, the third launching Nagisa into the air. Ryu flew above her, his palm open. Darkness formed in his palm before he charged back down, pushing Nagisa's head down with him. "Death's embrace awaits!" He called as they approached the ground. "Die!" Finally they hit the ground, Nagisa's head landing with full impact. "Stay down." Ryu said as he stood back up. ~Just outside the forest~ Sonic finally made his way outside the forest, the still-cold crystal in his hand. Just then, the announcement of a tournament was heard all across the land. "A tournament, huh? Might as well check it out. Tails or Stern could even be there." Sonic gripped the small red orb in his hand tight before taking off at blinding speeds towards the tower. Being one of the first to arrive, Sonic took the opportunity to take in the sheer size of the tower. He walked around the tower, admiring it's size, before bumping into something small. "Oh! Sorry little...Guy...You've gotta be kidding me." He looked down. There was small blue creature standing there. It was Sonic's younger self, just as he remembered him. "Well, this is certainly a surprise. How did you get here, uh...Sonic?" The young hedgehog shrugged. "Heh, I could say the same. Well, It's nice to see, uh...me again, I guess." The young Sonic gave his older self a thumbs-up.
