Posted. 'Twas a festival of Powerplay. And yes, Shadow can use Chaos Blast without an Emerald, but it's much smaller and weaker than it would be...
Shadow watched as Sayaka was thrown into the wall of the arena. "Sayaka! Hold on, I'll-" It was too late, Sayaka had been impaled by Noel's spear. She wasn't moving. There were no signs of life. "B-But...I thought you were..." Shadow was then hit with Curse. Shadow clenched his fists hard. He turned around, his pupils and red stripes glowing an even brighter red as he did so. A look of pure rage was seen in his face. "Chaos Control!" Spoiler: oh, **** music [video=youtube;zuftBSmrLRA]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuftBSmrLRA[/video] Shadow reappeared before Vanille*, grabbed her by the shoulders and rammed his forehead into hers, his rage filled eyes locking with hers. He again used Chaos Control to appear before Noel, who was weaponless and in his defenseless style. In a flash, Shadow punched Noel across the face before kicking him into the air similarly to how he did with Snow, only with much more force behind it. Shadow warped up to Noel, where he kicked him. He then teleported to another angle, where he struck Noel again. Shadow did this about 4 more times before sending Noel plummeting back to the ground. But Shadow wasn't done yet. He teleported back down to Noel, where he was engulfed in a glowing red aura. "Chaos..." Shadow put his foot on Noel's back. "Blast!!" Just then, a small, but very powerful explosion emanated from Shadow, sending Noel flying across the arena. Shadow then jumped away from Team l'Cie, knowing what was coming next. The glowing eyes and striped faded back to their normal states before Shadow fell to his knees in fatigue. (OOC: Stop music here) Ethan, while freaked the hell out by the display, stood in front of Shadow with Typhlosion. "Don't worry, Shadow. We'll cover you until you're ready to fight." Shadow was going to object, but he was too worn out. He needed the time to recover. *I wasn't sure if it was Vanille or Snow that casted Curse on Shadow. If it was actually Snow, someone VM me so I can change it. OOC: Sorry for the bit of powerplay there...Shad was mad. Signum stepped back and watched as the blasts engulfed the arena. She took notice of the Mouse's speed. "The mouse...The one they call "Majesty"...He is much better than he looks." She then noticed that he was charging some kind of attack. "Keep the one with the wings occupied. I'll go stop the so-called King's attack." Changing Laevatein from Schlangeform back to Schwertform*, Signum charged at Mickey, ready to stop what he was doing.
