Hmm...I'd say the first one looks better. The red glow gives it a "dark and powerful" feel.

~Team Dai-Gurren~ A look of pure eagerness...Or to be more accurate: Psychopathic excitement...was on Genome's face. "Hey, you two are without you're Gunmen too, y'know. Besides, at least I know how to use a gun!" "So we're all going? Okay, awesome!" Zen's arms then extended out incredibly long...ly, scooped up the rest of Team Dai-Gurren, and tossed them into the cockpit of Zen. The hatch then closed, cramping everyone incredibly close together. "Everybody ready!?" "I-It's kinda cramped, Genome..." "No complaints here. I got a perfect view of the mountain range." Kamina joked, his face in Yoko's "Mountain Range". Yoko's face turned a bright red. The thrusters on Zen's back began to glow before a green blast of flame shot from them, sending Zen flying forward. "EEHAW!!!!" Yoko was currently pounding on Kamina. "Why don't you learn to keep your eyes out of places they don't belong, huh!?" ~Minutes Later, in the Magical Space Forest~ Zen had been plowing through trees for a little while now, the white dot on Zen's newly installed "radar" inching closer and closer to the center. Finally, Genome noticed something all to familiar in the distance. It was the upper half of Lazengann's body. "There it is!" Zen's thrusters disengaged and it slammed it's feet into the ground, kicking up dirt as the slowed down. Suddenly, a young man with blue hair walked in front of Zen as it approached. "What the-!?" *SLAM!* Zen crashed straight into the boy, knocking him flat on his back. The hatch opened, and all of it's passengers except for Genome fell out, bruised and beaten from the ride, Kamina moreso because of Yoko. Genome leaned forward, assessing what he had slammed into. "Hey, you okay?" The boy sat up, rubbing his head from the impact, his eyes still focused on the ground. Spoiler "Y-Yeah, I'm-" He looked up, the first thing seen being Zen's face. "Ah! W-What the heck are you!?" "Uh...I'm up here, pal." Stryker looked up see Genome's face looking down at him. "Oh...Whew, for a second I thought I was being attacked by the robot face thing." "Nope, that's just my Gunman, Zen. Now if you'll excuse me, I need that giant hunk of sexy robot ass you're standing in front of. 'Scuse me." Genome walked Zen over to Lazengann's upper half, assessing the damage. "Damn, that Beastman did quite a number on you, Huh, Lazengann? Don't worry, babe, we'll fix you up good as new." Genome began rubbing his broken Gunman with love. "...Is he about to make out with that cleaved Gunman?" Yoko said as she stood up. "It wouldn't be the only thing that's cleaved around here!" Kamina added, still on the ground. "SHUT UP, WOULD YOU!?"
