~Elsewhere~ Patroklos bowed at his new comrades. "I thank you all for agreeing to assist me. It means more than you could ever believe." He looked toward the horizon. "Her location? Unfortunately I have no idea...We were separated after we were taken from our homeland to this new land. It will be a long search, I'm afraid..." He began walking forward. "We should get moving. Every minute still spent here is one that could have been used for searching for our missing kin." ~Savannah approaching Maleficent's Castle~ Signum instantly gripped the hilt of her Device as the Gunmen fell from the sky. "Do those machines have...Faces!?" Just then, a larger white Gunman fell from the flying machine. It took it's place in front of the smaller Gunmen as their leader. "What's wrong? Never seen a Gunman before!?" Spoiler BGM: Viral's Theme Song; Nikopol Viral's Gunman, Enkidu, pointed toward the Yagami's group. "Charge! Take out every last one of them!" The lower Gunmen did as they were told, charging toward the group. Just as they got closer, a voice was heard behind them. "Outta the way!" Spoiler: ENTER: Team Sonic (Which includes Sayaka) had gathered in front of Team Yagami, ready to fight off the Gunmen. "You guys ready?" The team nodded in agreement, ready to fight. Sonic turned back to Signum and her group. "Don't worry, we're on your side. Now let's kick some robot butt!" Team Sonic then charged into battle. Sonic began by running at high speeds around one of the Gunmen, causing it's pilot to become dizzy. "What's wrong? Can't keep up?" He jumped into the air and homing-attacked it in the "face", knocking it over. "Shadow! You're up!" "Got it!" Shadow immediately jumped into the air, using his jet-shoes to hover. "Chaos..." A progressively-growing light began to form in his hand. "Spear!" Shadow shot his fully-charged spear into the Gunman. After a spark, the mecha exploded, leaving nothing but rubble. "Nice one, Shadow!" Shadow landed. "You weren't so bad yourself." But they're fight wasn't over yet, as more of Viral's Gunmen were on their way. "Pathetic...Beastmen that fight alongside humans? I won't stand for it!" Viral began barking orders at his troops again. "Focus your attacks on the Blue and Black Beastmen! Make sure they know the full punishment for betraying the Spiral King!" "Beastman? Sorry pal, but I'm not a 'Beastman' or whatever. I'm a hedgehog, plain and simple." Two more of the Gunmen charged Sonic and Shadow, this time attempting to stomp them into the ground. "Get back!" A woman's voice was heard, followed by three gunshots. Spoiler: ENTER: The two airborne Gunmen exploded from the gunshots. Everyone looked back to see Team Dai-Gurren charging in, everyone mashed into Zen again, except for Yoko, who was on top of Zen with her rifle. "Don't worry, this Gunman's on your side!" Yoko called, letting everyone know that Zen was not an enemy Gunman. "And if you'll excuse me, I need room if I'm gonna fight!" Genome then opened Zen's hatch, causing everyone but him to fall out of it and onto the ground. "Now that's more like it! I deal with bugs like these all the time. Zen's got this, yo!" The small Gunman ran past Team Sonic and leaped into the air. It's arms and legs retraced into the body, and were replaced with a large drill coming from the bottom. "Zen Impact!" The drill revved up incredibly fast before he sliced right through a Gunman, landing right in front of Viral's Enkidu. "Well look who it is, it's the jerkoff who cut Lazengann in half!" Viral chuckled at the sight of the small Gunman. "I remember you, Human. I was the one who had to move your scrap metal away from Teppelin after I ripped it in half!" Zen's arms and legs returned. "So you're the Spiral King's trash boy, eh? Alright then." Genome turned around and looked to everyone behind him. "Watch my back! I'll deal with this bastard myself!" Zen's arms turned into two long, thin drills. "Hah! You really think you're a match for me in that tiny thing? I admire your confidence. But it will only bring you death!" Viral took Enkidu's blade and slammed it toward Genome, who dodged it swiftly. "That all you got!?" "Hardly." Viral continued to fight off Genome, oblivious to the fact that a certain sunglasses-wearing rival of his was also in this battle. Back with the Yagami's, Signum had began to fight the Gunmen as well, making sure she kept a certain amount of cover on Hayate. Spoiler: ENTER Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, Yugi was approaching. "Oh, look. Is that plot up ahead?" Unfortunately, Yugi's out-loud question was heard by some of the Gunmen that were a bit further back. They turned towards him and charged at him. "...Uh oh, plot wants to kill me!" He began running away, when an idea came to him: He should try playing a children's card game to save his life. Turning around, Yugi took the first card from his deck, which happened to be the Chain Destruction Trap Card. "I assume the rules still apply...Alright then!" He placed the card on his Duel Disk (Which had been previously activated). "I activate the Chain Destruction Trap, which...Oh, why the hell am I explaining this to robots?" The card's effect was that it destroyed all monsters in the other player's hand and deck that shared the same name (so long as they had 2000+ ATK points). "Please work, please work, for the love of Ra, please work..." Yugi's wishes came true, as all three of the monsters were destroyed by a chain that appeared from nowhere. The chain bound all three of them tight enough that they exploded. "Holy balls, it worked." Knowing that his cards actually had an effect on the world around him Yugi prepared himself for battle...Because plot forced him to. "Alright, you faced robot...Things, it's time to feel the wrath of a children's card game!...Wow, that sounded better in my head..."
And I'm sorry for bugging you about it again... I understand, and I'm okay with waiting. I only asked because, well, 1) I've seen your work, and...
