Viral directed his attention to Kamina's voice as he called out.
Genome looked over first, noticing the epic badassery that was Gurren Lagann's transformation.
He was speechless. Tears of pure manly joy rolled down his face as his eyes glowed with awe.
Genome was so awe-struck, he nearly wet himself in excitement. Nearly.
"That voice...It's...!"
"Hey! I'm not finished with you, pal!"
Viral growled at Genome's yelling.
"You're of little importance to me now. I've got bigger things to deal with...Literally and figuratively."
Viral shoved Genome to the side as he approached Gurren Lagann.
"Hey!"
"We meet again, you naked apes. Have you finally come to give me my helmet back?"

While Viral had his showdown with Kamina and Simon, everyone else was fighting off the rest of the Gunman army.
The Sonics and the Tails's were fighting side by side, the Tails's carrying the Sonics high in the air to set up for a death-from-above style off attack.
Modern Sonic and Tails attacked first, with Sonic spinning into a ball with a constant spin. Tails threw Sonic into the face of one of the Gunmen, causing him to go straight through it.
Sonic then ran away from the Gunman before it exploded.
The Classic hedgehogs mimicked what their older selves did, but due to their lesser strength, Classic Sonic was only able cut break through to the cockpit where the pilot was.
"Eh!? Hey, get outta here you little freak!" Yelled the Beastman that was piloting it.
Just then, the Gunman's hatch opened, and Classic Sonic tossed the Beastman out.
The Beastman then ran away, knowing it couldn't fight on foot.
Classic Sonic stuck his head out and motioned for Classic Tails to join him inside.
Once they were both in, Classic Tails took the controls.
"Uh...I-I don't know if I'll be able to control this...We could end up exploding!"
Classic Sonic leaned forward from behind the seat that Tails was sitting in, and gave him a thumbs up, letting his friend know that he believed in him.
"Okay!"
Classic Tails squeezed the handles, reactivating the Gunman. However, more happened then just that, as the entire outside of the Gunman turned a bright yellow, just like Tails's fur.
The stolen Gunman turned towards the enemies that approached him.
From the inside, Classic Sonic pointed forward, implying that he was yelling "CHAAAAARGE!"
C. Tails did just that, as he charged into the Gunmen, plowing them down like a professional.
The Shadows on the other hand were fighting alongside Sayaka, who was having trouble due to her mainly using swords against the metal monsters.
"They just keep coming! What are these things, anyway!?"
"I don't know, but they're strong! I can't keep up with them!"
"Aww, quit yer whinin'!"

"Stand back, Hedgie! Let the Mercs handle these ones!"
Deadpool, Siegfried, Z.W.E.I. and Hilde all came charging in, having seen the battle from afar.
" 'Fried, Hilde, you take the left! Z.W.E.I., you're with me."
"Understood. Hilde, let's go."
Siegfried and Hilde then went to the left side of the battlefield to fend off the Gunmen there.
"You ready for this, pretty boy?"
"As I'll ever be."
Having already set up a battle plan, Deadpool used his guns from afar as Z.W.E.I. charged in for melee attacks.

Finally we have Yugi, who was on the opposite side of the battleground.
Seeing as he had no opponent, Yugi took advantage of the fact that he didn't have any rule-related restrictions to how he used his cards.
He drew three cards, all three being Monster cards.
They were the Dark Magician, Celtic Guardian and Gaia the Fierce Knight.
A smirk came over his face.
"I summon the Dark Magician, Celtic Guardian and Gaia the Fierce Knight, all in Attack Mode!"
The three summoned monsters appeared before Yugi, all prepared to attack.
"F*bleep* 'em up."
The three monsters then went on to attack more of the Gunmen that were charging Yugi.

~Elsewhere~

Patroklos lead his helpers out from the area known as Elsewhere.
They were greeted with the sight of a large open field, with little to nothing in sight other than grass.
"It looks as though we may be traveling through here for a while..."
Just then, he felt a chill go down his spine...The same kind of chill he gets when the Malfested are around.
"...Keep your guard up...I don't think we are alone..."
Patroklos then began walking into the seemingly-endless expanse.

Behind them, hiding in the shadows, was...Something. Whatever it was, it was watching them.
"Soon, boy. Soon." It whispered before disappearing.
