Taking his battle stance, Kilik kept calm.
"It is unwise to challenge an Edge Master. You will not win this."
Kilik made the first move, charging at Darion before striking at him with a vertical strike with his staff.

BGM: Pokemon Red/Blue Gym Leader/Elite Four Battle Remix

Eevee took the full force of the attack, knocking it out completely.
"Eevee! That's it, now you've done it! Eevee, return."
Blue recalled his PokÃ©mon before taking out his next one.
"Go! Rhydon!"
Blue tossed his PokÃ©ball releasing Rhydon into battle.
"Ryhdon, attack using Earthquake!"
Rhydon obeyed, stomping on the ground several times, creating an earthquake inside the gym.

~Approaching Melvin's Lair~

Dr. Nefarious was still flying through the air after being kicked across the landscape by Clank several pages back.
"Come on...Can I please hurry up and hit something soon!?"
As he flew, he noticed a run-down building below him.
"Now that would've been the perfect place to-"
Out of nowhere, he was hit by a random piece of space debris, sending him flying straight down towards the building.
"THANK YOOOOOUUUUuuuuuuuuu...."
After a few moments of falling, Dr. Nefarious crashed through the roof of the building, landing in a room filled with what looked like a gang of B list villains.
He got up, taking note of the organic life forms around him.
"...Hello, squishies..."

VS.
~Battle of the Copies~

The four fighters had been going at it for some time, with no sign of letting up.
"Are you two ready to give up yet!?"
"There's no point in keeping this up, you two. We're the originals for a reason!"
Dark Link huffed.
"Looks like we'll have to resort to Plan B."
Dark Pit sighed.
"Guess so. Hop on."
Dark Link got on Dark Link's shoulders.
"What're you gonna do? Give him a piggyback ride until we give up?"
"You wish."
Dark Pit took to the skies with Dark Link on his back. They both took out their Bows, aiming at their originals.
"Pfft, like an arrow's gonna do much. C'mon, Pit, let's take them down."
As Link and Pit began to charge toward their dark copies, D. Link and D. Pit's arrows began to glow.
This was followed by a dark energy "string" connecting their arrows. Next, the arrows combined, forming one large super-arrow.
Link and Pit stopped.
"What the-"
They both let the arrow go, sending it straight for Pit and Link.
The originals attempted to escape, but were too slow. They were hit by the arrow, and were caught in the dark explosion that resulted from the impact.
The explosion faded, revealing the unconscious bodies of Link and Pit laying on the ground.
Dark Link and Dark Pit looked down at their originals.
"It's a shame. I was looking forward to beating on them a little more."
"Oh, well. Not much we can do now. Come on, Dark Pit. We've got work to do."
"Like what?"
"I dunno, I thought we had somewhere to be after this."
"Well, I don't know about you, but I gotta report back to Viridi about the completed mission. I'll meet back up with you later."
"Alright then. I'll be waiting."
Dark Link then faded away.
Dark Pit went back to Viridi to report his success.

~Savannah~

As the Gunmen lowered in numbers, Siegfried took notice of a familiar figure in the distance.
"Wait a second...That's...!"
It was Charade, a living fragment of the Soul Edge.
Without another word, Siegfried charged toward Charade. He looked back to Hilde as he ran.
"Keep fighting the remainder of the metal beasts! I will return soon!"
He caught up with Charade.
"I thought I had rid myself of you years ago, Charade. Why are you here!?"
Siegfried readied himself for the inevitable battle.
