Sell it on E-Bay of course. Edit: Actually, you might get a better price by ransoming it back.
Fair enough. Ah, that makes more sense. Appreciative of your confidence :P
I don't think they would see anything. Dreams are your brain sorting out its thoughts and memories for storage, so without any visual memories I don't think there would be any visual in dreams. If they went blind after having seen stuff, I have no idea. When you go to sleep, you close your eyes mainly to cut out visual input. Blind people would never have that, so I guess they would go to sleep the same way you do, with maybe not needing to close their eyes.
A very good observation. HERO beat does make them more versatile, but he was saying that they could do it well even if they didn't have fusions. Please don't shout. Whatever you think of the other person, or what they are doing, shouting is almost always the opposite of helpful. Oda, thank you for not going into full rant mode, even if you were shouting a bit.
I have no reason to be offended by anything you've said. I'm more concerned that you felt you needed to confirm that I'm just a normal person.. And, to a lesser extent, that you felt you needed to confirm that by beating me in a duel. Spoiler: Long response with many tangents I used to normally draw what I need because I was backed by my Fables, which are an extremely versatile deck. They are the deck that I built and practiced with and improved when I truly wanted to be really good at the game. I used to be able to get into a really bad situation, then count off the number of cards in my deck that could get me out of it.. Then draw something else, and realize that that could still be used in another play to save me. I always thought that that was better than consistency. My Fables are a really inconsistent deck in a sense, as I can never rely on getting out the same combo, and I don't have much trap support to slow the game down to wait for combos to come to me.. but they have the flexibility to make hundreds of different combos with many different goals and side-effects, and they can OTK with even the slightest provocation. I've always attributed most of my power to my Fables, and then, eventually, I decided that competing with the meta of the time wasn't something I wanted to do, and wasn't something that was fun to do, and something that my Fables couldn't do with me as the duelist if I wasn't playing my best.. And so I set them down and stopped using them, telling myself that I wasn't good enough for them. Really, they were just too good for the level I wanted to play at. And they do lose, like any other deck. They still get bad hands.. But they will always be my strongest deck. Anyway, enough about my Fables. Gem-knights have to rely on getting fusion. I use Ryko and Turtle and PoD to help speed up that process, but the chance of not getting it is always there. The one game where you beat me, not only did I not get fusion, you drew well enough that you were able to get out three fusions quickly, and Solemn Judgment. I had the cards to stop two fusions, had it not been for SJ, which would have let me draw two more cards, and at very least set a monster to defend against Gaia. You had no more hand, so you would've been reduced to hoping to draw a good monster, while I was several cards ahead, hoping to draw fusion, or ryko, or spark. You won that duel, and nothing takes away from that, but it's not because my Gem-Knights are too focused on that fusion. They can get it relatively consistently, and they did get it in the other six duels we had. They would have gotten it that duel too, via turtle, had you not opened dark hole. When you say that at least you can use Hero Beat without fusions, you're ignoring the fact that fusions are what makes Hero Beat strong, and without them gem-knights can do it better. If I didn't have to worry about Super Poly and Miracle Fusion, (ignoring staple traps) the only threat of Hero Beat is Alius and Stratos, 1900 atk, 1800 atk respectively. I can run Garnet and Sardonyx, 1900 atk and 1800 atk respectively. Stratos and Sardonyx are two different kinds of searcher, with Stratos having the upper hand, but Stratos is limited, while Sardonyx is unlimited. Alius and Sardonyx are both targets for Gemini Spark. So things seem even in that respect. You get E-Emergency Call, yes, but I get Gem Armadillo. You can get woodsman for a solid 2k def, but I can use Sapphire for 2100 def, or Gem Turtle for 2k def. And on top of that, I have Obsidian and Lazuli. if obsidian is sent from my hand to my grave by card effect, it can special summon a level four or lower normal monster from my grave. if lazuli is sent to my grave by a card effect, it lets me add a normal monster from my grave to my hand. Since Garnet, Sardonyx, and Sapphire are all targets for this, if I run cards like Card Destruction and Foolish Burial, I have a clear uadvantage. Yes, you can use Heated Heart for a temporary +500 boost, but I can use Gaia Power for a lasting +500 boost to all of my monsters, with the side-effect of cutting down Woodsman's def. I also have Amber, 1600 atk, who is a target for gemini spark, obsidian, and lazuli, who will boost to 2100 with gaia power. I agree on this point. I do think I'm a rather uninteresting person. It is worth noting, however, that this thread is supposedly about Yugioh, so not adding new and exciting things that aren't Yugioh related isn't necessarily a bad thing Yes, in level of practice with it. Just knowing all of the combos in my Fables isn't as helpful as having a sense of how well they work, and what risks tend to be good risks. Not that someone could consciously know all of the combos in my Fables. That being said, that deck isn't new. It's an old deck that I hadn't worked with in a long time.
I am ready.
Ren is using a Fire King deck, and Garry is using a Madolche deck. Garry also carries a Fabled deck with him, due to sentimental value.
I will enter two characters. Both shall be male. One shall be named Ren, and the other Garry. Ren shall speak in red text while Garry shall speak in italicized text. Ren appears to be a child, and has black hair and blue eyes. Garry appears to be an old man, and has white hair and brown eyes.
I was thinking along the lines of how Bastion has a bunch of decks, but to a lesser extent. Maybe just having two decks.
Oh, one more thing.. Since my DN has been being quite unstable of late.. What happens if I disconnect during a game? Is it a forfeit?
So full RPing? How much of a character concept is expected? And can a character change decks? Edit: Match duels, or single duels?
That's the thing.. Almost nothing is riding on it. It's not some elaborate expensive card combo. If you synch for Quasar and I go "lol solemn" you're down.. five cards, I'm down one and 2k LP. If you normal Raging Flame Sprite and I go "lol solemn" you're down one card, and I'm down one card and 2k LP. If you normal sprite and attack, then I hit it was dark hole I'm down a limited card and 100 LP, you're down one unlimited card.
Well, I guess you could get a similar effect from using... three tributes, plus three more spells, so six more cards. And three more summons.
You don't need piercing, megamorph, or metal morph when you're attacking directly and gaining 1k attack each time you do so.
Mist Body.. So much trolling.
Raging Flame Sprite was great back in the day. normal him, attack directly, he's at 1100. he can be killed the next turn, but if you can protect him just once, he goes up to 2100, which can't be beaten by many four stars. Attack directly once more, and he's 3100. Attack one more time and you've done 6400, and have a monster with over 4k that can attack directly. I've usually won by this point. I'd also protect him with Fairy Box, so even if you had better attack, there was a fifty fifty chance you'd end up still attacking, but with 0 atk.
so.. How is it strong? In what sense is it strong?
Mercury is liquid at room temperature..
he doesn't get why you're comparing him to mercury.
Aluminum isn't a bad metal to be, you just think you're a sheet of foil. Aluminum is one of the most versatile metals. Also, it resist corrosion well too; when it oxidizes that makes it stronger, not weaker. Aluminum also has one of the best strength to weight ratios, and while it isn't very strong itself, it can be made into various stronger alloys, so it's used in many forms of transportation, like cars, and boats, and planes. Due to its light weight and decent electrical properties, it's also preferred for long-distance electric cables.
