Ra glared at the spirits which emerged from the door. "Thomas, confidence is a trait which makes a strong leader, but should you let your hubris blind you, your downfall is only a matter of time." Ra spoke without looking at the younger boy. He rose his staff and let loose a flurry of electric bolts at the spirit he stood against. Ra used thunder

Freya had indeed restored his energy, but it came with a lecture. That was exactly what he wanted. "I know my limits, same as i know yours. If it would be too much for you to pick me back up, i wouldn't do it. If you're not around, then i suppose i'll have to do something without the constant aid of my little sister." It was then she spoke of the possibility of something happening to them, but to Lucifer in particular. He was well aware that she was creepily attached to his friend. It was painfully obvious for anyone, let alone someone with the ability to see the innermost feelings of those around them. However, it almost seemed as though she was more concerned with his well being than Zavion's or her own. He scowled momentarily, although it wasn't really all that different from his usual expression. "He can handle himself. I'm fairly sure he could've made it along this whole time even if we'd never been there." He continued walking across the bridge and toward the castle. He thought of his friendship with Lucifer, and how it had come about. He'd been an outcast all his life for his heritage, and Lucifer was the only one who never really seemed to care. He was a bit of an ass at times, but he'd meant well most of the time. However, that changed when his mother had taken his heart. It was replaced with nothing but anger. Well, this was just great. They were all set to go to the cave and look for the hero, and then all of the sudden two ******s and their pet darkness lion show up, and are all like "Oh, you can't search for the hero because we said so. Also we're just gonna go ahead and kill hunter" Like, what the fuck? How was he supposed to get twenty stacks instantly if he was already dead? "Excuse me, you're all coming up to us, trying to stop us on our quest to advance the plot, killing one of our members, and then you expect us to just go along quietly? Listen buddy, i dunno what kinda angst you got pent up after your wife probably left you for the gardener, but let's get one thing straight. There is not, nor will there ever be, any wall i cannot break. I beat this one guy who used to be in sos, but behemoths ate him. He didn't even tank the damage so he didn't die, he tanked BEING DEAD. Explain that one. I've broken the freaking fifth wall! Do you know what that is? No, of course you don't! Because no one thinks it exists! And you know what? IT DOESN'T! I BROKE IT ANYWAY! THAT'S HOW GOOD I AM!" Beuce finished his rant at Eigo, then looked at the lion alongside them. Suddenly, Beuce felt the overwhelming need to prove his dominance. "Alright Mr."Extra measures". We all know we're not just gonna give up on the quest for the hero because then that would be the end of the rp. So, If you're to chicken, then make like a banana and fuck off. Otherwise, let's do this." Now, some say his heart grew three sized that day. Those people are stupid. He stopped being chibi and revealed what an absolute monster his pride lands form actually was. Spoiler
A look of horror washed over Beuce's face. Good lord, this poor girl! "You were captured and they stood behind you and beat you with a belt while everyone watched?! What the hell kind of sick people are we dealing with?! At least you're alive though..." She then proceeded to try and grasp his name. Failing, and referring to him as the only thing she knew him by. Bourne was what she called him. "Well...Most of us got out. Eon and Etrius...Weren't so lucky. Aside from them, we're all here. Although the situation between some of us is shaky at best. I think the stress is starting to wear down on people." Beuce was once again thankful for his life as a soldier. Stress was nothing new to him, so he knew how to cope with it fairly efficiently. Then, something occurred to him. "Oh, also Yen Sid is dead. In fact, you could say he's gone...stone cold." Beuce was an odd one. One minute he seemed like he was a sensible and serious guy, who knew what was going on. The next, he seemed like a complete moron. It was honestly hard to tell which one he actually was. "It's Beuce, by the way." After thinking for a moment, he decided that it was probably a good idea to continue on with the search. "Well, as much as i'd like to stay and chat, i kinda gotta keep searching for this guy. Although, if you don't have some kind of secret mission, then you should come with us. We could use a banana in the bunch." He said, chuckling. Walking out of the alleyway, he searched aimlessly. It wasn't long before he crossed a familiar sight. It was Karina. Right behind her she was...Dragging Glen to an execution! "KARINA NO! I KNOW YOU'RE UPSET WITH HIM BUT MURDER ISN'T THE ANSW-" she let him go in front of some graffiti. Huh. Looked like she just wanted to show him that. Walking over, he acted as though he hadn't said anything just then and simply walked up in silence. "It looks like Yen Sid's hat. What do you suppose it is? Maybe something left by mickey? Although, there's the possibility it could be a trap...No, actually, i don't think that's right. Whoever took out Yen Sid is working with the apprentices. If they wanted us dead, we'd already be six feet under by now. There has to be some reason they let us go. They sent the heartless after us, but if they really felt like it, they could have just walked in and wiped the floor with all of us. So, if it's not a trap, it's probably a clue."
I second this
Welp, Ananta seemed to be busy assuming Kross had abandoned her to go hang out with him and completely missed the fact Beuce had invited her to come with them. Alrighty then. "You two go ahead and eat your pie. I'm gonna run on ahead and search. I won't be far from here. Come and find me whenever you guys are ready." He knew he'd suggested using their visit here as a break, but he more meant a lack of constant combat to catch their breath, not a full on vacation. Walking away, he began searching for Mickey. From the pictures inside his house, he knew basically what the mouse looked like. Not to mention he was essentially a male version of Minnie. Well, that thought was odd considering the relationship between the two... He continued through the town, asking around. Of course, no one had seen him. They all spoke highly of him though. Eventually, he found his way into an alley where he spied a couple figures. Now, these figures stood out for a couple reasons. First, Two of them were human. Like, full on human instead of some creepy anthropomorphic animal thing. Second, they were holding keyblades. lastly, they were female and kinda cute. That was reason enough to approach them. He made his way closer, and realized he recognized one of them. "Hey...You were in Central Haven! The one that apparently punched her boss, Hikaru's friend." He said, listing off what he knew about the blonde girl. The other one was completely unfamiliar to him. "You weren't with us for the thousand heartless, and the mirror broke right after we left, so how did you get out?" He asked, curious as to her means of escape. As he mentioned the thousand heartless battle, the events of it were brought back to mind. If he hadn't been a soldier most of his life, he probably would've begun having war flashbacks to it. Thinking about that lead into thinking about his missing arm. It still felt like it was there, although he knew full well it was missing. He hoped that the two wouldn't be creeped out by his missing limb. Honestly, he needed to get that fixed. It was severely messing with his chances of scoring with anyone. Although it did earn him some major points toward the Karina route...So, it wasn't all bad.
Beucette was hardly listening to the actual mission at this point. If anything important was said, she sure as hell missed it. This bitch wanted to go. Well, she was going to bring it. With a pissed off expression she grabbed the rim of her shirt where it parted at her chest and pulled it apart. The zipper dropped down to the bottom of the top and came undone, leaving her breasts fully exposed at Scarlett. "Bitch, do you see any stuffin' in here?! Do these look like tissue to you?! I AIN'T EVEN WEARIN' A BRA! And what about you?! You got some big ones, maybe stuffing a bra is the first thing that comes to mind because you do it yourself! If ye'r not, then why don't ya prove it?" It was likely that most of the group had just died of shock, considering Scarlett had just been flashed and then challenged to do the same. The way Beucette saw things, there were two ways this could go. Either Scarlett accepted defeat and stepped down, leaving her the winner through sheer guts factor, or she took her up on the challenge and she got a good look inside the cookie jar. No matter which it was, it was a win win for Beucette. Checklist, it: Brought. Ra tapped his staff on the ground, curing each of the party members back to their peak condition. It seemed that Mr.Hemlock was gone. That rose suspicion for sure. Although there was always the possibility he'd simply fled from danger. Gaius ran off to search for him, followed by Thomas. However, the two didn't get ten feet before an argument broke out. They threw insults at each other like children. At first it was somewhat playful, but quickly turned serious. Thomas took offense to Gaius' words and wandered off on his own, as did Gaius. Sighing, Ra turned to Charlotte. "I ask that you attend to Thomas during our search for hemlock. I will accompany Gaius. Mikasa, Veilan, you two can search together." Ra continued on through the house, following alongside Gaius. "You mustn't be so hard on him. I believe his vanity is a facade, trying to convince himself that it is fact."
Zavion had recognized Juliet before when they saw her in the realm of darkness, and from the fact she decided to pull away Freya, it was fairly clear she'd recognized them as well. He still didn't know where her loyalties were, so he decided to listen to the conversation. Walking over and asking what was going on might get in the way of having her on their side, so he'd trust Freya to be able to win her over. Using his gift of Clairvoyance, he watched over the two, ready to step in should things take a turn for the worse. Freya's innocent pleading seemed to have worked, and got through to Juliet. It looked like she was fairly sincere about helping them. With her on their side, things would be easier. However, there was still the need to get to the castle. Reaching what seemed to be the end of the road, a massive gap spanned between them and the castle. Over the edge seemed to go on forever, as though falling would result in being dropped into an endless abyss, never to reach any sort of bottom. He looked up at the castle and could see an opening. Likely at one point a bridge had spanned the gap from this location and lead into the castle through there, yet no longer existed as Rinox had said. "If the bridge no longer exists, then i suppose we'll have to make a new one." He gave no further explanation as he stepped forward to the edge of the chasm. Darkness began spiraling around his feet. This would be a trying task. "Freya, I'm going to need your help with this." He whispered under his breath, knowing she'd be able to hear him. The darkness arched out in front of him and all at once shot out toward the doorway to the castle and took solid form. Taking a step out onto it, the darkness held firm. His breathing was heavy, due to the effort of manipulating that much darkness all at the same time, thus where his sister came in. Whenever he needed to pull off large stunts like this, her support magic was what kept him going through it. Ghost walked through the tear in space after being introduced to the others in the group. Emerging, he found himself in the realm of darkness. The hyper girl named Jackie yelled out their goal. To find a cave in this realm and eradicate any heartless they encountered along the way. That sounded simple enough, but the heartless here were fearsome creatures indeed. Well beyond those in the realm of light. "This realm is utterly massive. Do you honestly have no better way of locating this cave?" Asked Ghost. If they had no better plan than to walk around until they found it, then this wasn't much of a rebellion. They barely needed to do anything about this. Still, it was his mission to gather information on the rebellion, and he would do so. Anything he found out, he'd pass along through Phantom to The Goddess. "Well, if we have to search so tediously, then we should get started. Lead the way." Beucegar turned to the small bug like-creature who appeared and was instantly filled with a massive rage. He wanted to murder him and then murder his dead body and gain 20 stacks instantly on his necklace because that somehow worked. Then he would move faster while he was invisible! ...You know, something about the logic here just didn't really add up...Huntix was the first to make his move, diving down at Beuce. However, due to Beuce's mad skillz and juking powers, he skillfully evaded it and sweet mother Theresa on the hood of Mercedes Benz, he looked like a majestic fucking eagle! ...Alright so the attack just missed, but this sounded better! "Lol. You suck. But in missing, you have accomplished turning my head in the direction of a cave! Let us proceed onward my animal companions!" Beuce said, frolicking along down the savannah toward Pride Rock and killing the everything in the area with the force of his sheer kawaii.
I agree that the first two are the best of the bunch. Soft colors don't really suite him all that well.
I like the cover art.
Most of the creatures by this point had been dealt with, and the few that were still around, Azra made quick work of. Now the only one that remained was the one which had been captured for study. He looked down on the squirming creature, glaring at it with contempt. "India. If you are to be permitted to study this creature, i expect results. I want to know what they are, where they come from, and if there will be more. We need to be prepared to combat these creatures." Azra spoke to his brother like he was giving orders to a soldier under his command. He took the defense of the world incredibly seriously, and would act as such to ensure the public's safety. It was his sworn duty. India approached his new test subject like a child approaching a new toy on Christmas. He was barely listening to Azra at this point, and picked up the squirming shadow, pulling out some rope to restrain it with. As to why he carried rope with him...Well, we'll just leave that to the imagination. In any case, the heartless had been restrained and was ready to be taken back and studied. He called out to his friend over some distance away. "Dain! You can torment incestuous punk street fighters later! We've got work to do." The boy called out, simultaneously getting his friend's attention and doing his part in the mental ass kicking of Dmitri. He looked over at Renna. It was either invite her, or have her follow him home and watch through his window. At least with the prior option, he could have her do something if he needed. Waving his hand, he motioned for the girl to follow them, and made his way home. He had his work cut out for him, but the prize was well worth the effort.
"SANTA LION SAYS NO!" Beuce said, leaping out of a bush at Gwen after her comment about being cuter than them. Rather than viciously maiming her, he slapped her in the back of the head with a cartoony sound. "Baka, how many nexuses have you ever CAPTURED? You destroy the base, not capture it! Nobody even plays dominion! It doesn't exist!" He looked over her appearance, sizing up her new form as a cat. He shook his head in disapproval. "This is all wrong! You BARELY got the right genre! You are from Smite! You'll have to do better! I give you a solid D minus. I expect improvement." Said Santa Lion-Sensei. Then, from his tardis, it spewed a character they'd somehow failed to notice in a confined space of like...a couple feet across if that. It was a small white furball. A white furball which was apparently his apprentice in fourth wall breaking. Welp. That was a thing now. He looked at the poro who greeted them. Well...at least she was from the right game. "D+. Try harder next time." Beuce said, crossing his arms in disapproval. "Stratos can't even break the fourth wall and he's a champion! Well, kind of...He gets a B." The other two he didn't need to grade. They were veterans at this, same as he was. Together they were like the big three of the fourth wall breakers which there was a stupid amount of in this RP, but at least they stood above the crowd among them. "So, what adventurous side plot shall we embark on this world?"
If light travels so fast, how come it's never caught the wind?
There was a moment of silence before Kross spoke up, asking Beuce if he regretted joining the group of keyblade wielders. "Nah. I mean, where would you guys be without me, right?" He said jokingly to Kross. Then he went on about how Beuce was witty, good looking, and strong. "Damn straight." He said with a chuckle. What came next almost surprised him. Kross said he was everything he wasn't. That he was jealous of Beuce. "There's not really much to be jealous of. I mean, I'm missing an arm for God's sake. Only reason that happened was because i was stupid, thought i could overpower the behemoth king, and wasn't strong enough to do it. Even in soldier and Mad World, i didn't have the strength to overcome him. Can't be too amazing if i let a stupid heartless get the best of me. You all were the ones to finish it off." He said, thinking back to the thousand heartless battle. "If i can't even take on a behemoth...I don't know what I'm going to do against the elemental guardians, or worse, Nequa. My plan is to use the guardians to overpower her in magic, beat her at her own game, but if i'm not strong enough to even get them in the first place, then that's down the crapper." Standing up, Beuce stretched out his single arm and arched his back, before returning to normal posture. "Well, one problem at a time i guess. We should get searching for that mouse. I don't know where he'd be, but we may as well check around town for him. We've been lounging around enough. Shall we then?" He said, offering to search with Kross, then spotted Ananta. Waving his hand, he motioned for her to come along.
Ra glared at the spirit from beneath his suit. Evidently, hitting it directly with a staff affected it like the staff wasn't even there, yet still did damage. Go figure. He hand his opponent had both attacked, yet barely scratched the other one. At least he wasn't injured, maybe slightly cold. It was time to go on the offensive once more, this time hopefully with more effectiveness, although in his recent battles it was almost as though some cosmic force that decided randomized odds was plotting against him, but that was a silly thought. Raising his staff into the air, he let loose magic. Electricity crackled up the staff and gathered at the top, sparks arcing out. Eventually, the bolts shot upward, and rained down onto the spirit before him, hopefully ending it's existence for good. The girl seemed oddly nonchalant about her friend being possessed. She was checking her out and that was a good thing, but Beucette was thinking about how this would play out. Scarlett was being kind of a ***** to the girl, but what else was new? "So Scarlett hon, how'd ya fit a stick so big up your rear? It's gotta be at least the size o' west texas." The white haired girl teased, then turned back to Kiyomi, having thought of a question for her. "Yeah i got somethin' to ask. Are you the fox spirit?" She said, asking quite possibly the strangest question she could have. However, Beucette simply thought about how the plot would turn out, and guessed at the ending. It would make a decent twist if she were, and if that were the case then she could say that she called it and look intelligent. Show that she wasn't just a pretty face. A very, very pretty face...'Damn i'm attractive...' She thought to herself.
The Warden sat in his prison at a desk when someone walked in. He had been told that he'd be working with someone to capture Cierra Escravo. The man walked in casually, smoking a cigarette. The first thing he said was that the warden was kind of fucked up in the head. The warden stopped for a moment, looking at him. The Warden stood up. "You've got balls of stronger stuff than steel. That's good. You're gonna need 'em." It wasn't that Pomme was particularly short, but standing next to the warden he may as well have been three feet tall for all the difference it made. The Warden was an absolute behemoth of a man, standing at 7"3. Pomme simply continued straight to business. What could he tell him about Cierra. "She used to be a prisoner of mine for a couple years. Her parents were real monsters. Nearly brought down the city with their crime spree, going around murdering and pillaging. When i brought them in, she was taken by the government for god knows what. One day, they gave her to me, saying that she had to be kept away from the public. Wouldn't tell me why. Well, eventually, i found out. She's a Spyrix, and a powerful one. I was out of the prison at the time, but when i came back, she was gone, and half my guards were dead on the floor. Their throats were literally burnt off their bodies, nothing but chain marks left. I've been trying to bring her in for a while now." The Wardens said, explaining who she was. "She's got white hair, and several scars all over her body. She's not the most intelligent. She'll be acting stupid if you end up talking to her." Next to the shadowy assassin, a loud and boisterous voice called out. "Hello friend!" It said to Sam. The source of it was a fairly tall man, wearing armor and a red sash. He had a confident smile, standing there with his arms crossed and the back of his sash flowing in the wind. "What brings you to a place such as this? Come to watch the streets from above?" The man walked over to the edge of the roof before waiting for a response and yelled out to the people below. "People of Oda City! Fear not! The agent of God himself watches over you from above! As long as i exist, there is no need to fear anything in the city! For god has endowed me with power beyond that of mortal comprehension, and tasked me with using it to defend you all! Not only do i watch over you, but this young man here!" He said, motioning to Sam. Needless to say, that got some odd looks from the streets below. There were some comments about there being an insane person on the roof. He looked over at Sam and seemed to be inspecting him, then back to the streets. "He seems perfectly sane to me. Rest assured, for i am an excellent judge of character!"
Ra had been more or less silent throughout the course of the questioning. Gaius and Thomas were...well, they were idiots. Ra made a mental folder to contain all the notes he was making on things to do to improve their behavior. If they were going to become the strongest team, then they'd need to shape up. The only thing thus far that could make up for it would be their combat abilities. No sooner than that thought had crossed his mind, several specters emerged from seemingly nowhere, splitting off the ground from the others. Worse, Mikasa had been put out of commission...by a door. Not the most heroic injury there's ever been. Nevertheless, Ra turned his attention to the spirit before him. "Foul ghost. You've experienced death once. Are you so eager to do so again? Very well. I shall indulge you!" Ra performed a fast sweep of his staff, attacking with Quick Blitz (Because **** magic). Well, Beucette had hardly been paying attention to anything that was happening until a schoolgirl walked in. Now that's the way to get someone's attention! She said she'd been possessed by a fox spirit, which gave the white haired girl a pondering expression. "So...Did she by any chance throw out this little heart at you? And when you were hit by it you couldn't do nothin' but walk toward her? And you took more damage from magic?" The question was to be totally nonsensical, but she asked it with a completely straight face. To her, it seemed to be a completely logical question to ask. Odd.
Beuce had been leaning his head back and not realized someone approach him. He only noticed his presence after he spoke. "On my island, it's bad luck to be seen with half-eaten food." He said. He'd never had much interaction with Kross, but he knew who he was. Earlier in the house, he'd tried to get his attention and speak with him. "Thanks. Sorry about ditching you before." Beuce said, taking the ice cream he offered. Kross what was on his mind. Man, that was a simple question with a complicated answer if there ever was one. "Heh, where do i begin? Well to start off with Karina is being all depressed and everything you say is wrong. She told me about her past, and that got me thinking about mine. Man, did that piss me off." Beuce gathered his thoughts. So far, he'd never said two words about where he came from to the people in this group. Maybe it was about time he did...Taking a long and deep breath, Beuce began telling Kross about his homeworld, his past, his life, and Hellion. He told the story about his destiny. "My homeworld...It's called Atreia. It could almost be considered two separate worlds, but they share the same heart so it's more like two unconnected halves. Or, it was." Beuce said, it still being odd to talk about his world in past tense. "See, these two worlds were constantly at war with each other. We both hated the other with a burning passion that even the greatest diplomat couldn't put out. They were called Elysea and Asmodae. I was on the side of the Asmodians. We were darker than the Elyos because we were forced out of the light and did what we could to survive. Together, we beat the harsh environment and ended up rebuilding in it. We developed claws, darker skin, and manes because of it. As for why i don't have those now...I guess it's just like how your appearance differs from world to world, this is my default one, outside Atreia. The soldiers of this war were Daevas, immortal warriors chosen to ascend into a higher state of being and given the blessing of flight by the Empyrean Lords, gods." Beuce began his story, more or less describing the setting at first before continuing into the actual events of his life. "I was supposed to be significant among the Asmodians. When i Ascended, this old fortuneteller trapped in a crystal named Munin foretold that it would be my destiny to battle with the leader of the Elyos army, as it was his destiny to battle with me. His name was Hellion. Now, the prophecy only said we would fight, it didn't say how or when or who would win. Just that it was going to happen. Whoever won would become the thirteenth Empyrean Lord and lead their race to absolute victory over the other, by bumping up their god roster from six to seven, giving their race the edge. It didn't happen for a while. First, i had to prove that i deserved to be a Daeva to the rest of Asmodae. Along the way, i made a few friends. Flame, Yana, and Dane. Dane was a little...enthusiastic about his job, but he was a good guy. Yana we met completely by chance. We fought against her in the training coliseum, and became good friends. And Flame...Flame was with me since the beginning." He stopped for a moment, reminiscing about his times with his old friends. They were gone now, and would never come back. "We had some good times together. Heh. There was this one time where we were walking around in a desert and out of freaking nowhere this giant bird swoops in and knocks Dane off his feet. We barely managed to get out of that one, but he swore death to that bird with an undying vengeance. We went back several times, but each time, we never found the bird. It found us. It was crazy how sneaky it was for something so enormous. Eventually we found out it was some legendary creature named King Consierd. We ended up killing it by luring it into this huge patrol camp. When it was dead, the first thing Dane did was jump up and start dancing on its body. Let's just say he isn't the best dancer around. Me, Yana, and Flame just about died laughing from that. We were all soldiers in the Asmodian army, and we all wanted to restore Asmodae to before we had to struggle to survive. We thought we could achieve it and hell, we almost did. If it weren't for that prophecy, we may well have won the war. But there's no escaping destiny. There came a time when i knew the battle was approaching. I could feel it in my bones, and from the result, I'm betting Hellion could too. We both took steps to make sure we won the battle. I learned every bit of information about magic i could jam into my head about magic from Mayden. He was considered by most to be the best sorcerer in the world. I trained every day under Iczel, our own commander. She was the greatest fighter I've ever seen. Never once was i able to beat her. If she'd been the one fighting instead of me, the rest of us may as well have just sat back and sipped our drinks with a fancy umbrella in it while she went to work. I don't know why, but it had to be me. I returned to Munin, trying to see if there was some way to increase my odds of being able to beat Hellion. He told me about an ancient weapon called a Spirit Blade, which was capable of channeling the power of one's soul. Evidently mine was absurdly powerful, but i never saw how. No one had seen one, or even heard of how to make one in centuries. I had to get the instructions on how to make it from Marchutan himself. He was the leader of the Shedim Lords, the Asmodian half of the Empyrean Lords. I ended up having to fight my way through pirates to get some kind of treasure they'd stolen, not knowing what it was for. Then i went into this haunted castle, defeated it's lord, and took the blue golem from him. A crystal he used as a necklace for his wife. And finally, i had to travel into an alternate timeline in which the apocalypse had happened, and life was all but gone, aside from dragons to get one of their hearts. Although that last one wasn't all bad. I mean, i even befriended one and it followed me back. He was nice, so everyone liked him. So i named him Pie. I mean, everyone loves pie right? I thought it was a pretty fitting name." Beuce chuckled at the name of his dragon. If he'd known what was to come next, he'd have demanded it stayed in Dark Poeta. That way, at least in one of the timelines, he'd still be alive. Beuce's expression turned to a frown once again. "I brought the materials to the Tigraki Worshop, a hidden island between the two halves of Atreia where there were craftsmen like no other. They didn't even charge me for the honor of making a spirit blade, and believe me, if you knew what munny grubbers these guys were, you'd be dead from shock they did something for free. So, as it turns out, this "spirit blade" was a keyblade. A personification of the heart. It doesn't take its true form right away though. None of us, even now, actually have our unique keyblades. We haven't been able to unlock their true form. Using this new weapon, i went to the tower of eternity. The heart of both worlds. I knew Hellion would be there as well. It was time to decide the result of the war. But...It wasn't a fight. It was a massacre. Naturally the rest of the Asmodians followed to see the battle, but the Elyos pulled an underhanded tactic. While we had gotten me my keyblade, they'd been constructing a super weapon. One of massive destructive power. It was a battleship called the Dregion. The Asmodians there were gunned down like it was nothing. Together, Me, Flame, Dane, and Yana boarded the Dregion. It took all we had. Dane and Yana...They gave their lives protecting me. Getting me through to Hellion. Sure enough, our fight happened. We fought in the control room of the Dregion. It was a fierce battle, but in the end neither of us were the winner. Hellion was insane. Rather than letting there be a chance for the Asmodians to survive, halfway through the fight, he veered the ship off course and crashed it into the tower of eternity. Knowing my weapon could turn into a vehicle, Flame shoved me through the evacuation hatch of the Dregion, leaving me outside while she kept Hellion there. There was no going back. I got on my glider and flew away, leaving them behind. Looking back, all i saw was a blur of white as the tower of eternity fell, tearing apart both Elysea and Asmodae alike. Because Hellion couldn't stand the thought of us winning, he instead took out everyone alongside each other. I'm the last surviving Atreian." Beuce was no longer looking at Kross as he told the story, rather just staring off into the distance. "And so, having nowhere to go, i just kind of wandered through the lanes between until i met Hikaru. Well, at the time he was still going by Krowley. Him, Shapur, and Base were all doing something that seemed important, so i figured why not tag along. And that is how i ended up with this group." He said, completing his explanation of his past. He didn't really know what people would think of it. By all accounts, that had been a war between light and darkness, and he was the darkness. Some could view him as the villain, and Hellion had made a noble sacrifice to prevent the spread of darkness. He'd nearly punched the guy who'd told him that one. But seeing what darkness did outside of Atreia, he could see why people would get that conclusion. Darkness was only as evil as the one using it, the same with light. Neither side was really better than the other, but one thing was for certain. No matter where you were, no matter what world you came from, light and darkness were at war with each other. They always had been, and from the looks of things, they always would be.
