Personally I think it's great that you drew this in a carride - it may take much longer, but it's good practice to keep the control over your lines. (weird, but true) Kairi's hair seems to be way too much shaded in dark, it makes her look like Yuffie at first glance - leaving some parts lighter could probably help, though I suppose that is too late now. Oh well. You have a good memory though, I wouldn't have remembered half of the designs. ^^;

I've discussed this before with a special someone in the US should something happen to me. He would probably contact my family and get the message, and tell people on DA and the forums we go to what had happened. I think so, at least. My own DA journal contains the links to th eforums I go to, so it'd probably go from there.
You'll want to try making the lines darker since you are uploading them on the internet - right now it is a little hard to see. You can either draw harder with the pencil (or use a pen for the finishing touch) or change it when you scan/edit it. Your heartless drawings are extra cute, tho. :3
Aw, that's cute! :"> Roxas looks like he's gonna blush soon enough.. :3 If you want an advice, then I would ask you to try building up characters with stick figures (draw very light, don't press the pencil - as long as your eyes can see what you're doing that will do), then adding orbs/cubes/etc for the body's shape - and finaly shape it move smoothly so it becomes what you want. It does wonders. :) Roxas' height looks pretty good though.
The lineart reminds me of the art in the main game option from the games, were you going for that pose? About shading: shadows and highlights is what gives the drawing shape. So basicly, adding shadows and highlighs will help. Most importaint thing to have in your mind is where the source of the light comes from, in this case it could be the sun shining above the ocean, in front of Kairi. (an example) As to how to add shadows and highlights, if you are familliar with how layers in Photoshop work that is a good start - the first thing I learned is to make separate layers: lineart highlights (in screen setting) shadows (in multiply setting) colour (base colours, the first colours you use) background (probably just white) You just use the very same colour you used for the base colour, the setting in each layer makes it lighter or darker. It may take some time to get used to colouring images on a drawing program like photoshop, but you won't believe how many useful tutorials have been made for anything you could think of! Wow, that's a desktop that really drags you into the image! It's built up pretty good, I like the idea you went for! Reminds me of when you travel to world with the Gummiship at high speed. :3 The yellow may be too.... yellow - if you want them to be more magic/star effect looking you should let them shine more, white is a smart colour to start experimenting with. I think I saw a Photoshop tutorial on DA for magic light source effects, you can probably make use of it's technique on the gimp too - I could find the link for you if you want to have a look.
I don't think the site affected the file's speed, sorry. ^^; Could you make it 2 or 3 times slower than it is so far, if possible? I am so sorry for making you edit it over again - I'll make up for it somehow, promise.

KH manga - Phil's training, when they tried to look charming. I fell on the floor laughing so hard when I saw that, I never saw it coming. XD CoM - Basement list of chores, Lexaeus reading manga was pretty cool. :3 Whenever Genie was being his wacky self hehe, someone mentioned the socks? KHII - Crab on Sora's face. :3 Hayner looking insane with the bat having rusty nails in it, that was just.. wow. Also the Tiki tissue dispencer. And when Roxas tears up the picture Seifer's gang took when he was out cold (you know, when his mind really was in that twilight zonish place), and come to think of it - Pence doing the kitty expression just when his camera gets stolen by the dusk is awesome. I'm sure there's more... I just need it in front of me. But Axel looking all -_-; when Sora and co's Trinity move fails in CoM was pretty weird, I'm not sure what to think. XD
Kingdom Hearts II. Later I borrowed Kingdom Hearts and was pretty much hopeless but miraculously got to the end. Chain of Memories I haven't played. If mangas count I got the 4 KH and 2 CoM books in the correct order some months ago.
