You'd have to return to get a fresh colour about every 10 years or so anyways. But you can't have too small details, that will only smudge out as time passes and the tattoo is a big lump of smush. I'll be sure to tell if I get another one - I'm not in a hurry atm though. :3 You're brave if you have your own design as a tattoo, I just know I'd hate mine if I had drawn one. *can't help it, that's just the way I am*

I don't think getting tattooed in the wrist is allowed in our country, might be in yours. Make sure to discuss what would be the best choice (tattoo, size, place, treatment) with the tattoo guy, the one who tattooed me gave me great advices all the time. I'd like another fairy on my ankle perhaps, maybe blue/greenish. :3

It didn't hurt at all - but you'll be too frightened to move at all of course, being the canvas and all. You'll feel more "pain" when they add colours instead of black, but it really doesn't hurt. A needle in your achilles heel hurts. (I had to take a shot in both of mine a month before I got the tattoo, so that could be a reason why it felt like cakewalk) Though if you hit a nerve you'll feel it, same sister has a few tattoos - shoulder, back, leg and a star in her neck it's so awesome.
My oldest sister has a piercing in her navel - and loves to poke it to make me squeamish. X3 Let's just say, I'd rather have 10 tattoos than a single piercing. ( I already have one on my shoulder <3 )
