A laptop is great to use when working with images, you'll need some privacy to concentrate on what you're doing after all. When you gonna get one? :3 I read in the newspaper that other than the Gimp you could use something called paint.net, not sure if you'll get better luck with it on the Mac or not. It might help.

You save the file that belongs to Nyu - then you either draw on the computer, or draw on a paper and copy/paste it. It's easier if you have something better than MS Paint though.
