The Pharos Lighthouse in XII is a good example. 100 floors chock-full of enemies and puzzles with a total of seven bosses AND it was part of the storyline so you had to do it. "He's probably in the library or in his room." "So, how do you like your mark?"
Why must bosses that you have to go through huge caves and dungeons to get to be hard? "What about Orochi?"
