I'll agree on that - I'm no writer but I'm a freak when it comes to organizing things to prevent a huge mess. A yes vote from me, I'd want to visit the creativity section some more.

Meaning you get easier noticed because of the colour. I think.

*lols at intro of this thread - first time I've read anything like it in the art section*

You know, I feel there's more of a Demyx wibe coming from your drawing than a Roxas one - I think it's the hair that does it, it goes straight up and down much like Demyx' mohawk. Roxas' hair is a little different, it has this twist thing like a whirlpool when comparing.

It's a really cute picture though - a tiny bit stiff, I shall admit. You should dare to play around with the lines when shaping the body, it does miracles. :3

    XD

    Sneaky alienz...

If you want a crit for this pose then the rest of the body should follow the shoulders, especially the hips and legs should. Meaning the left foot would have to turn more inward so that they both face the same direction.

I do have a DA account, but I'll just post here to keep it all gathered. :x

Roxas: MUCH BETTER. This is a good hardness for the lineart tone, just remember to make the lineart on Roxas harder as well or he'll lose the attention from the viewer over the board and blade. Kudos to the eyes, the pupils have a wonderful shade! :D Take extra heed to the big toe, I swear to god toes are sneaky to get right..

Destiny Islands: This also became better with some hard lines. A pointer I can give you right now is to think about the sunset(?) scenery - it will shine on the gang, so it will also create shadows. If I were you I'd let the hardest lineart be on the side the shadows would be. (Kairi and Riku's back, Sora's front more to the right)

Cloud comic: XD Wow... Wrong choice of paper, the lines borks it up. If you can, you could draw the lineart with a pen, then tape it to the window on a bright/sunny day, tape a clean sheet of paper on it and redraw the lineart - this is how you can get clean lineart and it's completly free. :3

Sora: The only thing I'd want you to change is the arms - make it a tiny amount thicker so that he has a little sense of muscles. (Not like Riku muscles, of course) The vest is a bit too straight looking where the opening is, let it twist a little inwards. If you like, let Kairi and Riku stand on their own shadows.

The links: ZOMG! THE RANDOMNESS!! Only classes can be the result of this, right? ^^; Minor anatomy issues, some body parts are longer than the other, and if you add more strands of hair it will make a difference. (just enough to give it shape - otherwise it will only stay flat)

1st pic: You really surpassed yourself with this one! Bravo! The outfit looks wonderful, and the body looks rather good too - it's just the hair I can see need some adjusting. Unless it is a headband, the part behind the bangs goes too far backwards.. Also, strands. :3

2nd pic: Perfect - I love it. The cutest heartless I've seen in a while. *just wanna glomp it!*

Is this the original size? Cause it's really... tiny. Zexion has a confused look going on, heh. :>

This picture is biggar than teh X-Box...

If you want to shrink it, it can be done on MS Paint very quickly. Open the image, and use the shortcut Ctrl+W (I think it's called stretch) - change to a smaller number for the horizontal/vertical measurements and you're pretty much done.

Example: this version is 30% of the original size.

Advice about the picture - the hands are on the wrong arms... the thumb goes nearest the character when the palm is faced down, it is nearest the viewer when the palm is faced up. Look at your own hands and you'll see what I mean. I think the background's messing up the picture, you should rather use a gradient shade to create the mood you are after. This one is way too sharp for the characters and steals the attention from them.

Other than this, I like the poses mucho. :3 It's a very good picture that can only get better. :D

I have never seen Axel with that hairdo before... He looks rather formal, imo. :3 There's something about the big eyes that attracts me.......... dunno lol, they just work in this close to chibi style! The best one I'd say would be the Zexion headshot in the center top.

You make cute as hell doodles, KairixRiku. :>

Looks pretty good! Using a marker/pen alone for a sketch is a challenge in itself, and you did good. :)

I notice that the boy's hand is mixed up - when the arm is relaxing like that, the thumb shouldn't be the finger nearest the viewer but rather nearest the character himself. The arms are skinny, but in your style they add some charm to the lineart.. :3 I kinda like it. Otherwise the anatomy looks pretty good, just a little adjusting with the boy's leg I think - making a longer leg, or shortening the tigh. ( I hope this was the correct word.. ^^;;;;;;;; )

Regular crayons seems to be harder to use than colour pencils - the reason would be that it is more vax based. If you have more colours you could use them more for shading the dark parts, more than it currently looks like now.

It's cute. :3 They look mischievous judging by their expressions, the sneaky eyes and fanged teeth. (I just know it has something to do with Riku...)

    Advice:

I think you are ready to start studying anatomy - everyone has trouble with it so don't worry. The best thing you can do is to use stick figures, and use the same measurements for them that would be on real people. Live drawings will bring results, I promise you! Practice on that, and you'll go a long way. :3

The outfit design is so cute! <3 And annoyed Roxas just adds more to the cuteness. ^.^ I think you did better this time with the folds, more/sharper won't hurt for the jacket to show how big and warm it is. If you didn't want to draw his fingers you could have made him wear mittens? :3

The hair bangs are too flat though (even if he wears a hoodie that'd be logical, but it's still too flat looking), I would say that the dark shade is the main cause of that. Erase somewhat in the middle part to indicate a highlight shade and it will get a shape quick enough.

Again, something about the head that needs adjustments - it is just plain too big... In real life he'd probably fall on the ground due to gravity. :x Try shrinking it a little, just enough to keep the natural balance. And I would have made the head more slim/oval than it is now. You can mostly tell when looking at the hoodie, it made his head have this circle shape. Sharpning the edges on both sides of the hoodie might help.

Hope the suggestions were what you were after. :>
