I know what you mean with the ink thing... It's almost a guarantee to mess up with, and then there's no turning back. ._. So using harder pressure on pencils is smart. :3 I'd want to see some clearer lines that makes the panels though - it's pretty much your choice. You should do what is most importaint in your schedule, of course. :3 Your quickies are good, just keep the suggestions in mind should you want to spend more time on some of your work. (trust me, it can quickly turn into a months work depending on how much work you put into it, mostly the colours part) You're so lucky!! :> I barely know any adult who has computer skills at all.. Barely.
I love blueberries.... :> Cute idea! I like what you are going for, and I like Saix's happy expression! :3 *if you wanted crit as well* The blueberry looks more like a pilates ball - why? Because it's just a circle, with no details indicating that it is a berry. Just look at this photo to see what I mean: If you think of a fruit like the apple, you would know there's some details at the bottom and at the top something like a stilk. This is the case with the blueberry as well, just enough for it to stand on on it's own. The shading would also have to be rougher in the darkest places. (it may be because the insides of the berry is dark purple-ish, dunno for sure) I dunno if you want the berries/fruit to look a little realistic for your chibis, though that is what I would have done. :>
MUCH LOVE TO THE MUSIC CHICK! <3 I really dig the angle you chose for the perspective, it has an exciting effect and is tricky to pull off well. The bottom part of the body needs to uhm... have some more - it looks too tiny comparing to the body's originally intended size, you know? A suggestion for you is to add some shadows for the ground too - to make it even more exciting let the shadows shape downwards like a bow or snake slithering against the viewer, it's like a "round perspective" thing going on.. Hope I made some sense.. ^.^

OMG!! Go read it, it's pretty fun! There's even... marsupial dragons... kenguru dragons, lol. X3 For chibi's maybe, it's the only thing I feel confident enough to make a tut for.
You can blame Ernest Drake for making me want to try drawing a dragon. X3 I just recently bought a book about Dragonology, and it contained loads of dragon info and sketches/pictures (and stickers followed with the copy, wee!!) - highly inspireing, and very useful reference. I can only pray that I will someday be able to draw dragons like those with nothing but my imagination and memory..
