He refused to move. "No. I am merely a prisoner now."
He looked over to her while shaking with tears running down his face.
"I think Sephiroth's sad." "Where'd Daddy go?"
She hugged her.
She shook her head.
She snuggled closer to her.
He locked the door behind him and clung to the railing as his body was wracked by sobs.
He gently slipped out of her grip once she was asleep and put her plushie in his place before heading out onto the balcony.
He kissed her forehead before rolling over with his back facing to her.
"I can try, no guarantees though."
"She dies, and you all will die as well."
"How am I supposed to get any rest when my life is ruined now?"
It only made the tears run faster.
He cried silently, making sure his body didn't make the slightest tremble.
His shoulders slumped as his head lowered further in defeat. "Fine." He said in a voice barely louder than a whisper.
"This traitor wants me to get back together with her or she'll kill herself and Orochi in the process."
He looked down with his lashes hiding his eyes.
He clenched his hands into fists and could feel blood oozing between his fingers.
