The child's hand looks pretty OK, just the thumb that is a little too thick. But the mother's hand is almost the same size, so it doesn't give any adult vibes - I get the impression that it's a few years older sibling reaching out the hand. Make it bigger, and add lenght to the fingers, women tend to have more elegant hands. (compared to the male hand that is like a square, female hands are like ovals)

If the chair is comfortable to sit on, then what is the problem? It must have been rather valuable if it was worth 3000. Though I can understand how disappointed you must have been if they didn't even mention the chair and that you thought it was the money itself that was the prize. :/ The contest arrangers didn't think that one through.

I dunno.... If it's Christmas it's because of it's traditions we have always stuck to in the family, but not so much the gift pressure.

Though Hallowen has always been attracting to me, it is a mystery holiday to me that I can only hope I'll one day will be able to truely celebrate. <3

Easter time gives you an excuse to solve riddles and read crime books. (I dunno what it has to do with Easter in the first place, but it's a tradition that we do that here lol) It's probably the true ski season of the year as well. Odd but true.

Agreed - this was a very good closure of something as big as HP has become, just imagine how horribly challenging it must have been to write an ending that is good? There's always going to be people who hates something so meh.

One thing I really loved was that Harry didn't destroy every single horcrux by himself ( that'd be meh.. >> ), but also the others got to do that. Ron and Neville really had my attention..

I'm pretty much loaded with work atm...... but I'll concider joining.
