I like both. Different moods perhaps, but they both reflect to the theme of Kingdom Hearts imo. Which is the whole point with the skins. But since there's no option for that I ain't adding a vote.
:3 You just need to find a new spice that will make the forum as you remember it, or maybe something intirely new yet awesome. I know I haven't been here that long, but I know what it feels like when a forum changes. It's like waiting for a death sentence. But yes - we must try to create the same joy that's been experienced before once in a while.
Sora, you lazy bum. So, suppose you get to another world. The Heartless have great fear of the Keyblade. And I think it's supposed to say: Simply amazing, Roxas. The font is only a slightly darker colour of the background, so you'll have to really study it to read it.
In my honest opinion, I think you made the arms and legs too skinny when comparing with the head size. It's like they could break at any moment out of the extra weight. I'd add more flesh on those to maintain the balance. The hands on both pictures were kind of too small, but if you check the lenght of you own hand to your face you may get an idea of how big they're supposed to be. Like, from the wrist to the fingertips it would reach from the bottom of the face to the begining of the hair. So my main suggestion for you is to try making measurements.
I motsly meant the first attachment, yes. The second one was sharper on the edges, and that makes me think about a possible logo for a record store. The rounder edges on the others were more PlayStation-ish. You get what I mean. X3 Good luck on your project though, whatever it is you plan on doing. :>
I don't mind the darkness of the picture.. (it may be the new skin of the forum too, which makes it darker looking - keep that in mind) But be careful with those lighter lines. It has this electricity effect which I love, but there's something about the way they're placed I'm unsure of. Feels a bit too random for the overall signature. Maybe you should play around with the direction they go in a little more? Other than that I like it, very nice idea. :3
You have no idea how much I love this.... The sketch looks wonderful, the composition exciting! For some reason I don't mind the eventual stiffness the legs and arms may have, it was kind of suitable for this particular image. If you ever plan on colouring this (maybe by painting it), DO IT. The results would just be... gah! <3
Others have already mentioned it, the text gives out PlayStation vibes - and it makes me feel happy inside for some reason. :> May I ask what you are using it for? A project of some sorts? If you are going for something playful/youthful then this setup is a good choice.
*sorry for another post, buuuut..* The blue is MUCH BETTER on the eyes, and also more suitable for the buttons and layout. Thanks for hearing out pleas about removing the bright white. :3 Happy holidays to you!
I like this theme - or at least the idea behind it. Everyone's already said it, the white is just too bright on the eyes. Maybe more of a greyscale could help? Dunno, it's a suggesiton if anything. I also like the fact that the new skin was put up during Christmas - kinda lightens up your day when everything is dark outside most of the day. :3
I definatly like the idea of having KH quotes to the left and right. Very interesting.
