It turned out more... molten lava-ish than sunset-ish on the first recoloured version... ^^; The second version is closer to what I meant. :> Keep in mind that the feathers can have a tinytinytiny amount of the background colour on them as well, because of the reflection.
That would look wickedly well if the digital parts were animated. :3 But atm, the photos stand out too much to fit in with the lines. Try to make both of them connect more.
Awww, kisses are so damn hard to get right - you draw two different angles at once, it quickly gets complicated. It's a pity there was no room for shoulders, because the necks get an impression that they're very long. Or that may just be me. If you get trouble with a part of the face, like the lips, you could scribble in a different sheet of paper to practice yourself on the kiss before drawing on the actual piece. When drawing realistic, lips are very different depending on the person (part of the dna I guess), but the center of the upper lip almost always goes down like a V, just not that sharp. The the line kinda goes downwards and then up when it ends again. It sounds more complicated than it really is... >>;; Study in photos to see what I mean. Try to make the lips interact with each other more, it seems too flat than it should be. There's something about Cloud's pose I don't like. I think it may be the neck causing it, it doesn't really face Aerith but is more turned away. I'd want to fix that, make it face the direction his head is facing. A tip from me would be to add more shade on the skin. For realistic portraits, you end up shading surprisingly much - it will help adding the complicated shape real people have on the body. It may also help out with the eyes, nose and lips. Try it out. :3

I read about that in the newspaper (VG) a couple of days ago, actually. I lawl'd. But anywhoo, there is no reason at all to feel sorry for Paris Hilton - she earns a lot of money herself, so this is no catastrophic result in the economy needed to survive. About the other heirs, I guess it's something like that too. As much of a good move as it was for Patriarch Barron Hilton to donate the money to the foundation, I also read that his own father wanted to do the same years ago, but it ended up in court - resulting in him getting the money instead of the foundation. Another lawl moment.

Because I loved his fanfiction about Sora's Christmas oh so much... so I decided to do a drawing of one of the scenes, at least what I remembered from it. Sadly, no reference at the time so I screwed up majorly on Sora. Ugh, that arm looks broken. Not really meant for cnc, but I won't stop you. *shrugs* Thumbnail'd cause I'm a lazy slowpoke. I'm not really a photographer though, it's just something that's part of the class. I'm more of a traditional drawer than anything else. ^^; Though in art school you could choose the photography and graphic road instead of traditional art, and I've seen what can be done to pictures that has potential to become something special. :3 Still, glad I could help with suggestions. :> When you get the time do a search for tutorials for the programs used to see what can be done with your photos.

Well the changes doesn't have to be insanely big. But what I just LOVE about photos is when there are sharp colours in them. Try to do that on the landscape ones for example. Maybe play around with the curves. Natural pictures are good of course, it takes a skilled photographer with an advanced camera to take shots that needs no digital changes at all. One day I think you'll get to that proffesional point. :> But for now - PS. :3
