.. Guys, add more content to your posts in this section. Why do you like the sigs? What's the thing that captured your attention? Any of these would fit better in your posts, please take your time to study the art you comment on. Follow the link for tips.

Be careful not to spam in your own thread, eh? I'll keep an eye on these guys in the threads of this section, don't you worry.

    OK, my cnc:
    *prefers 2nd version*
I dig the colour theme you went for: green, yellow and earth colours. The background is rather chaotic, but for some reason it works for the Joker.. It's like reflecting his personality, that I like. Still, try going for what Chaser007 suggested - see if the results becomes better.

Your latest drawing is actually better, you've been improving! ^^

Keep on practicing, and for your next drawings you should concentrate on the feet as well - they're one of the trickiest bodyparts to get right, in all seriousness. My best advice would be to study first of all on real life models: look at a friend's feet, sketch it many times quickly (about 1-3 minutes, for the purpose to get down the basic shape) in different angles/poses. It is wise to use guidelines, the foot is like a cube with orbs so build it up as one. :3 After that you could look at the feet from various animes and repeat, you'll surely find a balance suitable to the style you'll use in the end.

In other words, in this picture Inu's feet are way too tiny, and Kagome's ended up in an odd angle. It looks like you tried to keep the perspective in mind, kudos to that, just study how it works some more.

Oh, we were discussing something about art here! :D

What I prefer during a progress varies. Sometimes I love to colours more than sketching, other times the colours will frustrate me to no end. *ugh, remembers a certain SC3 picture* It really depends on how my mood is, or when my "inspirational power" runs out..

A sign that this family shall surely last for quite a while. :3 *or something like that*

Don't worry about it - I have spent many years with an evil computer myself, dial up is quite vicious. >> It was only sometime in 2007 my family was blessed with broadband after being on the waiting list for at least 1-2 years.

My region sucks when it comes to the smaller places.. >>

You should say what made it look weird - otherwise the comment may not help the artist. Anything that you find would help.

    Back to cnc:

I like the idea you're going for, which I guess would be some sort of a paper effect. But the sharp lines added I don't think look good for this sig - I'd remove those or replace with another effect more suitable.

Also, be careful with the light source - Link already has a shadow on his face, keep that in mind.

I also like the depth thing going on, split has a point. What I miss is adding reflection effect to the figure, most of all on the parts that's supposed to be metal - I say you should make simple strokes or red (possibly black) on the metal, like a highlight thing. Metal works like that, almost absorbs the surroundings like a mirror would. Not much is needed, but right now it's just too yellow imo.

Very good job on everything else, I think.

In my eyes this sig is wear worthy, no objection. I agree with split about playing around with different colour themes. Though personally I love the earth colour thing going on, it just has this... epic feel to it. The foreground does miss something to create balance, like Misty said. But it's still a pretty awesome sig. :3

You should add more content to your comment - just saying what it is that makes you like the picture/why it makes you like it is acceptable enough, you know? I'll keep an eye on your future comments in this section.

I think the main problem is that the entire body looks too flat. You should take the opportunity to look at tutorials on how to build up a human shape - but since this is a werewolf you should also study how the animal shape works as well, the differences are huge. For starters, try drawing a human, along with any object you see around you. Variation is the key to advancement.

Here's one that helped me out in the start - it mostly contains the basics, though that's what everyone starts with.
