Happy! ^^ And we don't have too many pages left of this thread.. Let us enjoy being one of the top threads before a remake will happen! lulz
You could always merge them into one image. :3 It's the size that matters. Never above 500 x 500 in total.
If that iguana does something to other members you know what happens... kukukuku.... LOVE your new signature, heheh. ^^
Oh yes.... I slaved on it.... >> I was never fond of drawing realistic houses and buildings. I was careful not to overshade it - heaven knows how often I overshade things. I actually didn't intend to add so much on the surroundings and background either, but lol behold.. X3 The house is meant to be in white paint btw. Thankies! ^^
:"> Thanks guys, I appreciate it. And yes, evil scanners! X3 To kowae7, yes they are very soft. My personal favourite pencil is 2B, just the right thing for me. HB is the regular type, the one used to write with and what not. Higher numbers in B means it's softer and darker. :3 Very smart to combine them in drawings. Sadly I only had one type for the colours, so I'm not 100% satisfied with some of the spots. Gives too much of this grain feel, you know?
They're wonderful! ^^ Do you use the linetool for the lineart? They all look very good for the style you use, maybe some minor adjustments to avoid limbs like the arms to be too straight looking. If you think orbs for the spots where there are joints, you will make them look better. :3 For clothes - the more loose the fabric is, the more flow. A few folds some places might help. Also, try experimenting with the shading. Add more shadow and highlight, see how that works. :3 Really great stuff - I adore your purple character. Sometimes she reminds me of Klonoa. :> This place needs more MS Paint art, so I await more from you to show us eh? BTW, I moved your thread to traditional art sub forum because this is built from scratch.
*pops by really quickly* Ooh, page 900!!! My head hurts. Finished house. http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?p=1561175#post1561175 k bye
This drawing has been bugging me for months - I finaly finished it today after pushing myself to draw nonstop for 8 hours. (don't even get me started on how long the whole thing has taken me in total) Again, used some of the colour pencils that I have won in another forum during autumn, they are so hard to use mainly because they act exactly like 6B pencils... ugh.. I'll never draw houses again... =.= The only reason I drew this one is because it was my late grandparents' house, and I have many fond memories of it. So this is sort of my tribute to it. :3 At first my mother asked me to make it for my grand aunt, but I have worked too damn long on this to just give it away. I'll send her a copy instead or something. BTW, reason it says L in it is because I removed my last name from it. :> Hope you guys like it. My brain is dead.
Your location is a trap!!! o:
I've never seen that happening before... Maybe it's your Firefox? I use Opera myself, so I don't know. Aww, KH section is sad... ;.;
Has a magic cookie castle where almost anything goes. :>
X3 Don't think it's anything worth worrying about. BTW, I read your story now. :>
One of the biggest Demyx fans I've seen on this forum. He died. And still posts.
Found KH-Vids through a certain New Zealander on DeviantArt, writing about the three KH games that had just been announced, linking the source back to... KHV. :3 Lurked for three days through the news and forums, the vids don't really interest me. *gets shot* Joined after waiting a day for the registration to kick in, a lot of people must have joined by then. Made a thread in art section before making the intro thread. I was mostly greeted with "follow the rules and don't spam" posts. As I lurked around and posted whenever, I was introduced to the family section - the drawing family had just been made, I think. I quickly found out that the serious buisness in the art section wasn't the handdrawn art, but the graphic signatures. This made me feel small, but also encouraged me to give long posts to the fellow small people who drew on paper. I usually hanged around the art section and upcoming KH games and KHII section, and the family. Until I set foot inside spamzone. And was never allowed out of it again. Made a sudden discovery about the fun and joy of user notes. :3 I haven't seen any of those in other forums I'm a member of. At this point KHV forums had stolen my attention, I rarely visited the others anymore - even DA lost to this place. I think they curse the day I read that DA journal.. And this month is my 5 year anniversary as a member there and everything.. Before I made my first departure thread, some mistook the message I had written in my location. It is still cute to think about. :> As it grew near winter, I was fairly known with some of the members either through family, art or spam. It was about then that Roxas announced the remake of KH-Vids Royale, and I IMed him about it offering to help out. It was fun while it lasted. After the new year had started, I became red like a Gryffindor. And I couldn't enter the site on my first day because the forum's database error seemed to enjoy frustrating me. Later on I made the decition to fully have my attention here, and quitted the clubs I helped out with on DA. It felt really relieving actually. Currently that is a sum up. :3 There's maaaany little details, but it is 3 AM. Shut up.
Aaaaaand opened again. Continue with sig buisness.
Cin, I didn't know that you could draw!! :D Moar plz! When studying this drawing I saw some random pixels in magenta and green, lol... I'm guessing you didn't plan that? *in before SA* Lined paper is the paper of doom! If you can help it, avoid drawing art that you are going detailed with on those. Sometimes it'll just bork up a perfectly fine looking drawing. :x If you don't want the paper to turn so.... non white... then you could tweak around with it in an image editor program - I think it should be possible with gimp, I know it is possible with photoshop. Right then, onward to CnC It looks pretty nicely done, man! :3 Especially the metal on the shoulders that is part of the armour, they have a nice shading and gives an impression that they have been worn out in battle. That's very good. I can say the same about the shading of the leather belts, it looks very true to the shine that leather gives. I'd just like to mention the arms - be careful when drawing a pose that isn't straight forward, the arm's lenght and sometimes size will differ. Kinda getting an impression that the arm behind became longer than the one in front, it should be the opposite. Part of the perspective rule.
Mine are very... VERY..... green... lol..
Green pants - though I didn't know it was St. Patrick's today. :>
I missed seeing your art!! Your latest portrait looks absolutely wonderful, nice and sharp. :3 I can't really look for errors since I don't know what the photo you used for reference looks like, but the nose looks like it was a real challenge. For now my advice for you would be: Always loosen up when your mentor tells you something. You're not right, he/she is. >:3 That's how you learn new things and avoid being locked to what you think is right. Took me a while before I loosened up myself, heh.. ^^;
I like how you crossed out the title, but not the image..
