Teh kitty booze is what keeps me online nowadays. That and my cravings to make silly and useful posts. Without it I go crazy.

Buy candy!! Or a baguette, it depends on what you're craving for. You're at the library now, right? Meaning.... you'd have to get offline to be able to eat.

    Whut?

Dear god, that style is just too adorable for words. You could just nibble on the cuteness!

I am also curious with how that blur effect ended up there.. Be this MS Paint? Cause one day, as I was messing around with it, I found out that saving it as something that isn't JPEG was a good idea. PNG should work well.

I'm thinking that's a neckline yeah. He has a point though, as there's lineart on mostly everywhere (not on kitty's pants, but that colour is so dark that lineart wasn't needed that greatly) - since the t-shirt is of a light colour, lineart would be needed for there too. For this art style it just fits hand in hand.

    Such a sweet fella... ^_^

Gaah, I'm so sorry for not commenting more often Hissora! I'll try changing that, but for now you shall receive MAJOR REPLIKU LENGHT CNC POST. Or I'll try. :3

For starters, the outfit design looks pretty good for my eyes. Don't know why, but it's giving me Tifa wibes. Coolies. I noticed that you remembered adding folds on the fabric in some places, the problem is that it's not easy to see them. Make those clearer, make them show! :3 I'm mostly refering to the areas where the hips/waist are, the area where the long skirt is "attached" could use some strongly visible folds - the more streatchy/wide the skirt is, the longer folds possibly. It's something to study in how fabric works used on the human body.

The body - I'm pretty sure you've noticed it yourself. I'll try pinning down everything that I spot.

There's this "stretch" effect thing going on in the area where the neck starts from the upper body to the head. It's like..... someone had been dragging her by the head, resulting in the neck to appear in a higher position than naturally possible. It kinda goes too far backwards, you know? That's the current impression I'm getting. That area is a very tricky one of the human anatomy, so don't be ashamed.

What I'd do with that? When drawing that area, it's like those lego bricks - they're different parts of something, but you attach them together to build something up. If you imagine the upper body as a beanbag WITHOUT a neck, then it's a beanbag with two orbs on either side. (shoulder joints) Now, imagine where the spine line is. You know already that it's a little curvy in shape, but it works as a center line for the human body. Which will help you greatly if you work with that in your head. The spine is also a part of what keeps the neck up. The neck is our lego brick, that we attach with the spine line in mind. When that has been done, that is when the lineart is coming from the shoulder joints, on it's way to the part where neck connects with spine. Very importaint to know the size of the neck is, the highest point would be where the spine is running, while the front is hidden by the face so it should look like it's shorter there.

In other words: my conclusion would be that you lower the neck hight like that, the final spine hight could work with how your front hight is currently.

.. I can't believe I tried to explain all of that, lol.. It's easier when it's shown to you. Meh.

Very great to see that you are working on a curvy shape for the body, since that's how the female body works like. Maybe add a liiittle bit more, creating a bigger curve? At least, that's how it usually works when you want to draw a hot girl. Weird thing, I know. Curves are hot.

The hands.... We both know those things are a pure pain in the [insert word of choice] to draw, even moreso to get them looking real and believable. There is simply only one thing that can be done. Study how each part interacts with one another, the smallest of movement makes all the difference. Use your own hand, and draw as many possible moves as possible: open hand, clutched hand, palm up, palm down, Star Trek sign, anything goes. Especially when the hand is holding an object, like both are doing in this drawing. If you use skeleton lines + orb joints + cube and sausage shape then it might be easier building it up.

How long must you keep drawing over and over? It's never ending. Mastering it is what you know.... art geniouses would do. And even they find something that is wrong.

Basicly that's what I've got for you this time. There's something with the head too, it might be the distance between the eyes and nose? I'm not so sure, but it could be fixed adjusting the outer lines of the cheeks/shape of face.

You're doing great so far, Hissora! Just keep at it!

I have to catch my bus now. O.o

I think there's mice there. Or bats. Or... baby birds hidden somewhere, since we have taken down the ages old bird house. In order to make her believe me, I must find another family member who will listen for it... It only starts when there's no one but me there!!

I just heard my father downstairs, I'LL MAKE HIM LISTEN FOR THE..... thing.

What do horses have to do with anything?!? O.o *yeah I saw that vid, I was actually LOOKING for those KH hints. :3*

I knew you'd use that smiley only hours after I posted here...

    hurr hurr.

People. My mother (real one, not KHV one) officially thinks I am crazy. I keep hearing these sqeaky sounds from the walls in the living room.. especially when the TV is on or when the sound on the laptop is on. Even my cats notice it. My mother can't hear it! O.o She must be wondering if I'm trying to pull a prank on her when I'm not.

As I am typing, it's still sqeaking there! Right behind me.

    ... I think it's alive... o:

I can't wait until I get home.... I just got a message that my copy has arrived in the mail today.. :3 It was the limited edition I ordered, so I hope everything went as planned heh. *I blame you guys for getting me interested, and kitty for finaly pushing me over the edge lol*

As a person who has never touched anything related FFVII ever this should prove interesting - but judging by AngelsNeedFlight's post, it'll go smooth. :3 The cutscene parts I've seen on youtube so far makes it look oooooooooooooooooooooh so promising..
