I would like to agree, but there are those who take offense to it... and the flamers who know that particular person(s) takes offense to it. When you call someone "gay" or a "***" and know they are cool with it, then yes, it's perfectly fine. But if when you call someone "gay" or a "***" and a report ends up on the staff's front desk (er... we'll say Pm box) or results in a retaliation from the member that was insulted, then it becomes a problem. Moral of the story, be careful of who you insult... because even in the spam zone, most of the forum rules apply. Even if we have no problem with letting the majority of insults slide.
