” Betrayal. Humiliation. First, she had been deceived by her best friend in the entire world and her soul mate. Then, she had been turned down by some chick from college. THEN, she gets into a violent car accident in which the victim scolds her for not having killed him. No. Hell no. This is not how the day was supposed to have gone. She was supposed to have met up with Alejandro, gone from a jog, maybe touched a muscle or two, had a romantic kiss and then ridden off into the sunset… in his Lamborghini Revention. It would have been perfect. If there was one thing that was going to go right was this accident. Maybe she was just desperate for company, maybe she was mildly attracted to crude narcissism, but whatever it was, she wasn’t going to let this guy be an addition to the awfulness she had experienced that day. A loud, aggravating blare interrupted her train of thought and sent her flinching. She glared jade daggers at the source and scowled at a very annoyed looking middle-aged man sitting in his seat. He was the only one out of the few cars driving down this road who didn’t go around her car. His eyes were staring right back into hers behind silver-rimmed glasses, her finger tapping on the steering wheel and his classical music roaring from the speakers. She was definitely not in the mood to deal with this, so she stomped (yes, in her heels) back to her car, climbing into the drivers seat and making herself comfortable, taking her time adjusting everything before slamming her foot down on the gas and turning in the direction the man had started to walk in. Skilled in the ways of a creeper, she slowed down just slightly and continued to drive beside him, calling out to him. “Hey!” …No response. “HEY!” She honked her horn, obnoxiously until she knew he had heard her. Continuing with her antics she snarled and rolled her eyes. “I’M REALLY SORRY I ALMOST KILLED YOU—ER…DIDN’T KILL YOU TODAY. BUT HEY. LET ME MAKE IT UP TO YOU.” This was, of course, not really a polite request from it a stranger. It was a demand from a psychotic teenager. There was a smile on her face, but a glare in her eyes, like, seriously, if he didn’t get into the car she was going to follow him home and stand outside of his house screaming glare. I really like it. That's perfect. If you wanted the edges to look a bit smoother, you could always use the "blur" tool at a low rate (tear drop, I think, in Photoshop) to go over them.

I don't know why this really came to mind, but I'm seriously wondering now. I was talking to my girlfriend about it, and we ended up wondering which was the better way to raise your child. To believe in Santa, magic, the tooth-fairy, all of that kind of stuff? Or to tell them right off the bat that it's not real? When I thought about it, I thought about how rarely I hear of a child having a crisis when they find out that Santa isn't real. But at the same time, I guess it's possible? I'm really having a hard time deciding which is better. Part of me would like my child to believe in something. The other part thinks it'd be stupid to lie to them like that. But then I worry that they'll grow up all bitter towards other children and feel isolated.
It LITERALLY just started snowing here for me. I feel so giddy, it's ridiculous. It's my favorite thing ever. I think it's pretty, especially when the town is covered in it. Only thing is...here, no one knows how to drive in the snow. Pretty awesome for days off. Pretty not if you have to drive in the traffic.
@P: You figured out how to do the line thing. :'D I like it, the only thing is the size. It's a bit big, but you can easily resize it. Also, if you would prefer to have the background transparent (and rounded instead of the white corners), then just make sure you've added the alpha channel and done the whole invert > Clear step after the shrinking and rounding of the corners. I like it though~ Practice makes perfect. <3

Doesn't have to be so morbid. I have things written out for certain people if I were to die. Not that I'm planning on it. I know a few other people who have done the same. Just in case. I just don't think my family would automatically go alert my online friends of my death if I hadn't had something specifically asking for it. And you never know when you're gonna go. v:

Things like this make me uncomfortable. It's sweet that you feel that way though. I'm trying to think on my life and I'm wondering what it would have been had I never gone here. I guess it would have been lonelier. And I probably wouldn't be such a dork, or know the random facts I've been taught. It's pretty cool. I kinda feel like KHV is my Internet "home." No matter what happens or how many times I leave the nest, it's here to come back to. <3
